The SpaceThe house is very clean. The views are beautiful out the front of the house. During the spring to fall hot air balloons float across the sky. My front porch is my favorite spot to sit on the glider swing and enjoy a cup of coffee or tea. I have an nice garden with herb pots so if your visit is during season feel free to use anything for your culinary experience. A trampoline with net is available for jumping, but only at your own risk and with a smile on your face.
One of the bedrooms has a full bed and the other a double bed. Both are good size with dressers and large closets. The bathroom is your private bathroom during your stay and has two sinks and a tub/shower. It will have shampoo and conditioner and all your towels. There is an office if you need to catch up on some work or just relax and read one of the many books. I have lots of games to enjoy a chilled evening with the family after exploring. Wifi throughout the house.
It is convenient to lots of little boutique shopping and dining areas. Doylestown , New Hope , Newtown , Peddlers Village and Lambertville, NJ. These are all 10-20 minutes from the house in all directions. Uber is available and totally affordable. Lancaster is about an hour drive. New Jersey shore is an hour and a half away. Philadelphia is an hour drive. It is necessary to have a vehicle in the area to travel around. The area is beautiful to ride a bike and explore nature. Lots of open land and farms but it is also near lots to do. Dorney Park and World Water Kindgom is about one hour away. Six Flags Great Adventure is also about an hour. All of these are super easy to do for a day trip. Peace Valley Park, Lake Nockamixon, Galena, Tyler Park, High Rocks Park, Glider Planes, Hot Air Baloon Rides, Lots of Cycling Touring and Paths, Delaware River Tow Path, Motorcycle Riding, Covered Bridge Tours, Wineries, Washington's Crossing.
New York is about 1 1/2 hour drive or there is a direct bus line that leaves from 15 minutes up the road. I use it all the time to go to and from Newark Airport but it also goes directly into Times Square.
I have a kitty cat that is outside most of the time but she loves people so don't be surprised if she wants to come in. Please keep her outside for your visit.
Bucks County, Pa is beautiful. It is filled with streams, covered bridges, walking and biking trails. I look forward to having you. I am often traveling so the house may be only yours to enjoy or it could be shared. It just depends on the timing. Guest AccessYou will have access to the entire house excluding my bedroom and my daughters bedroom. The basement has a third bedroom for parties staying over 4. The kitchen has everything you could need to cook a great meal including herb garden in the back filled with lots of great herbs.
I have a mans and woman's bike that you are welcome to use. I have size 7 1/2 roller blades and a childs skooter. Interaction with GuestsI am more than willing to help you with planning and researching places of interest. I am available throughout your entire holiday. We enjoy meeting new people and sharing our home with others that enjoy to travel as we do. The NeighborhoodMy neighborhood is great. The neighborhood has about 200 homes. It has many hills and you will see neighbors walking, jogging, and running on a regular basis. Getting AroundPublic transportation is available nearby but is not convenient as your only means of travel to explore the immediate area. If you plan to go to the city New York or Philadelphia then it is available and super easy in Doylestown (10 minutes away). There are trains and buses to lots of places. My definite recommendation is to have a car if you want to see many places within the area. Other Things to NoteI keep a very clean house. If you could keep it how you would like someone staying at your home that would be perfect, I think, I hope!!!!! I do realize that accidents happen. If they do please let me know upon checking out if anything has broken or needs repair. In addition any feedback that you can share that would have made a better stay for you or the next guest would be appreciated. Looking forward to having you.
There are chairs in the garage if you are planning a day at a park. There are also bikes in the garage that you are welcome to use. Riding through the neighborhood is quite a workout.
