The SpaceOur home is in a country setting just southwest of Bozeman. Quiet and beautiful, we sit on 20 acres with a fish pond and creek. It’s a perfect place to stay if you’re in town for outdoor activities, on your way to Yellowstone National Park, or just want to feel like you’re “out in the country.”
The room has a queen-size bed, a sink, loveseat, rocking chair, and a closet, and the private bathroom is a few steps away. The windows face the Bridger Mountains to the north. This is a very quiet, comfortable living space on the second floor of our home.
A second guest room with a twin bed, and a third with a queen-size bed, are also available on the home’s third floor. These rooms are listed separately.
We’re 25 minutes from the airport, 15 minutes from downtown Bozeman, and 10 minutes from MSU. Hyalite Canyon and reservoir, home of hiking, boating, picnicking, mountain biking, and cross-country skiing are a beautiful 30-minute drive from our home. Cross-country skiing is possible right outside the back door. Other nearby local attractions include the Museum of the Rockies and Bozeman Hot Springs, and blue-ribbon fly fishing streams are within shouting distance.
Bridger Bowl and Big Sky/Moonlight ski areas are about 40 miles away. Further down the road, Yellowstone National Park’s north and west entrances are 90-mile drives, and Grand Teton National Park lies just south of Yellowstone. Glacier National Park is approximately 6 hours to the north. Guest AccessThis second-floor room has a queen-size bed, sink, and private bath.
Two additional rooms are available on the third floor of the house, each with its own sink and access to a private full bath. Let us know if you need additional room for a larger group, and we will send you the rate. (Because the rooms are on the second and third floors, you must be able to climb stairs.)
You will have to share the bathroom in the event that both 3rd floor rooms are booked.
The house includes a basement kitchen with fridge, stove, oven, microwave and dishwasher. Dishes and flatware are available, as are pots and pans if you’d like to make your own meals, and a gas grill is also available. A large-screen television connected to DirecTV, along with comfortable seating, is also located in the basement. This space may need to be shared in the event other guests are booked into the other guest rooms.
Free Wi-Fi is available to guests, as are a washer and dryer and fenced yard. The house also has a dry sauna and racquetball court.
The porch on the north side of the house provides the perfect spot to drink your morning coffee while taking in the panoramic view of the Bridger Mountains.
Our home is a great place for a family stay – as well as having three available bedrooms, we also have a large dining room (seating for 10).
We love pets, but please first ask about bringing pets, as this is negotiable. An additional fee of $10 per pet per day will apply. DO NOT USE INSTANT BOOK IF YOU ARE BRINGING A PET. Please send an inquiry before booking with details about the pet so I can decide whether it would be a good fit for the house. Interaction with GuestsOur house is a four-level, five-bedroom, five-bathroom residence, and you will be sharing the home with two people, one dog, three cats and possibly other Airbnb guests. The owners are friendly, easygoing, and avid outdoor lovers with knowledge of the area; the dog is friendly and goofy; the cats make themselves scarce when visitors are around. We would be happy to provide you with recommendations for activities, restaurants, and places to see in the area and beyond.
We will always be home when you get here to help you settle in, but after that, we try to stay out of your hair. We work from home so we’re around most of the time if you need anything. Otherwise, we encourage you to come and go as you please. The NeighborhoodThis is a quiet and scenic location at the end of a half-mile long private drive. There is very little traffic, and virtually no traffic or city noise. You can enjoy only the sounds of nature at night, and with no street lights in the area, the night sky is dark, velvety and loaded with stars. Getting AroundWe are located in the country about 15 minutes from downtown Bozeman, so you will need your own transportation to and from the home. Car rental services are available at the airport in Belgrade (about 25 minutes away) and, although rarely used, taxis are also available. Other Things to NoteCheck-in is between 3pm and 9 pm, and check-out is 11am.
Miscellaneous bathroom items like toothpaste, tooth brushes, shampoo, and conditioner are provided. The bathroom is also equipped with a hair dryer.
There is parking available for larger vehicles like motor homes and boats. Please advise if you are traveling with a large RV, boat, trailer, or other larger transport.
Smoking is allowed outside only. Please ask for an ashtray.
Since the owners live on the property, please be respectful of noise levels.
You can fish in the pond free of charge.
