The SpaceThe Green Room is downstairs. It has a double bed, dresser, closet, two comfy chairs, and is decorated in not-your-typical-upstate decor. Piano in dining room. Basketball hoop in drive, gym in barn, running routes, pond. Beautiful area, close to many venues: Unadilla Raceway (Zombie Run), Fly Creek Cider Mill, Cooperstown Hall of Fame, The two Cooperstown Dreamsparks, Ommegang Brewery for concerts, and Butternuts Brewery is right down the road. Beautiful place to relax. Guest AccessKeycode entry. Code will be texted after payment arrangements have been made. Guests in my home are welcome to use it as their own. I ask that any computer usage be limited to not downloading and going to various inappropriate sites. Cook as you like, clean up after yourself, and if you empty something, refill it. I can be talked into yummy food creation, just ask! Interaction with GuestsTo their liking. I have a studio above my barn, and can disappear completely should whole house privacy be needed. I am very friendly and would love any piano players to engage the house in song! Communication is key I have found. I can "serve" the guests should they require it, offering suggestions on the area, at an additional charge. The NeighborhoodI love that I can walk or run a 1.5 mile circle, and hop in the creek on my way back! I also love that when you stay with me, you can "meet your meal." I use meat, eggs, milk, veggies and cheese from local producers, compost all leftover food, and always stop to see Esther the local Amish woman who makes and sells the breads I use for French Toast. She also makes a yummy blueberry pie. Getting AroundYes we have transportation. It's called your feet. We are 20 minutes from any real life (WalMart), but you can get "quickie" things, gas and cash at the store down the hill. If a cow gets out of her pen, I guess you could saddle her up and ride her "into town?" Other Things to NoteI make every effort to make my home a "destination location." I enjoy cooking and serving at an extra charge. I compost, grow my own herbs, lemon balm, American and German Oregano, Parsley, Cilantro, Basil, and Dill, and raise my own chickens for eggs. As one guest stated, "It's not the Taj Mahal," but it's my home and I'd love the opportunity to share it with you!
