We are 15 Min from Uxbridge downtown and 8 min from Sunderland. 20 min to Lake Simcoe. Getting AroundA car is necessary as we are in the country. The SpaceThis is a cozy country cottage with original wood flooring in some areas. It is situated in a quiet residential area. There is a living room area with 2 couches, TV, DVD player + lots of DVD's, games. There is no cable TV or wi-fi. There are 2 bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with a double bunk bed with a single on top and another single bed. The washroom has toilet, sink and shower. The kitchen is fully equipped with stove, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and filters, kettle, plates, glasses, cups, cutlery, pots and cooking utensils. Dish soap, sponges, dish towels, garbage bags are all provided. There is also a bbq with propane provided. There is a dining table and chairs inside and another large table in the sunroom. Outside furniture is also provided. In winter the cottage is heated with a natural gas fireplace. In summer fans are provided, but the yard has mature trees which help keep it cool. The front yard is a good size and you can catch glimpses of the lake. The back yard backs onto a field. Parking available in the driveway - big enough to accommodate 2 cars. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have questions. The NeighborhoodThis is a quiet residential area on the shores of Lake Simcoe. Although the shared beach area across from the cottage is grassy, there are public sandy beach areas with children's play parks nearby. You may wish to visit the Belvedere Cookhouse which serves great food and great beer. There are also lots of other eating places around, as well as grocery stores and unusual gift shops. Great for pets, but dogs must be kept on a leash at all times. Getting AroundTaking public transport is not recommended. You need a car to reach the cottage. Good for cycling and walking in the surrounding area. Other Things to NoteLake Simcoe is well known for it's ice fishing and there are plenty of ice hut operators in the area. Canadian Ice Fishing championship held all through the area. Get straight out and fish summer or winter - access to lake across from cottage. Also on the OFSC snowmobile trails.

    Our cottage is located in the beautiful Beaverton Harbour with direct access to Lake Simcoe. It is the only cottage in the harbour area with 3 private parking spaces in the drive way. Additional parking is free in the park area. You can enjoy warm water beach, family friendly Park, swimming, boating, fishing, hiking, museums, movie theatres and many festivities. It's a fantastic property where you can sit in the backyard to relax, sip beer and overlook Beaverton Yacht Club and the bustling beautiful yachts. In the winter, you can enjoy ice fishing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling and dog sledding. Beaverton is one of the most active ice fishing locations in North America. Perch, bass, white fish, walleye, lake trout are the favourites for the anglers. Ice hut and friendly bait shops are right in the harbour to provide all needs. The cottage has two levels with 4 bedrooms and 2 washrooms. The upper level is equipped with 2 bedrooms with queen size beds, living room with sofa, TV, propane fire place. Fully equipped Kitchen has a centre island. Master bedroom has a walk-out balcony, overlooking beautiful harbour and yacht club. Second bedroom has a queen size bed and furniture. The lower level has a 2nd kitchen, refrigerator, living room with dining table, and a futon. Third bedroom in the basement has a queen size bed and a twin over double bunk. Fourth bedroom has a queen bed and a twin over twin bunk. Lower level has a separate entrance, walking to backyard with a picnic table and propane BBQ. You can enjoy beautiful sunset view at the harbour in the balcony or in the back yard. Cottage is serviced by city water and sewage system. High speed internet, WiFi , digital TV and Canada wide phone service are provided. The listed price is in Canadian dollars. However, the listing website and paypal account does all transactions in US dollars only. Therefore, there is a currency conversion in invoice and payment according to the FOREX market. In case booking is cancelled, deposit in rental fee payment will not be refunded. Beaverton is just one hour north of Toronto. It was first settled in 1822, largely Scottish in origin, at the mouth of Beaver River to Lake Simcoe. As part of the creation of Durham Region in 1974, Beaverton was amalgamated with Thorah Township, the original Brock Township and the Villages of Cannington and Sunderlnd to create the newly expanded Township of Brock. Beaverton has a current population of 3500. In the summer, the beautiful harbour, cement pier, sandy beach, lake activities and festivals attracted a large influx of tourists and cottagers. The beauty and rich history of Beaverton can be experienced by a historical downtown walk. Enjoy the typical Canadian small town charm, with history and cultural attractions: old town hall, old stone church (a National Historic Site of Canada), the stone jail house, library, LCBO, bars, restaurants, fashion stores, Foodland super market, CIBC & TD banks.       The cottage is a 2 story plus finished basement home of 2100 sq ft on the 2 floors plus the basement and is right in the town of Jackson's Pt and close to shopping. There are 4 bedrooms on the second floor with 2 full 4 pc washrooms with tub and shower connecting to each bedroom. Two bedrooms are overlooking the lake with a deck off each one. The first floor has a kitchen, living room, dining room and family room with a 2 pc powder room off the hall and a large and long deck overlooking the lake. There is semi- private access to lake is 100 ft away. The basement is ground level and has 2 bedrooms and a recreation room with walkouts to the outside and a laundry room with washer and dryer and a 3 pc washroom with stall shower. There is central air conditioning and central vacuum cleaning in the home. It's available for the last two weeks of June and all of July the rent includes all utilities.

          Charlotte's Cottage is located in Island Grove in the township of Georgina, Ontario, on the south shore of Lake Simcoe. It is between the towns of Sutton and Keswick. It is a 10 minute drive to each town. Charlotte's Cottage has private access to Ministry of Natural Resources owned lake front with a small dock, a boathouse, and beach for use. Sitting on the dock in the evening, you can catch the magnificent Lake Simcoe sunsets! Day time activities consist of swimming, sitting on the dock watching the beautiful lake and all the lake's activities, or reading a book under the large shade tree by the boat house, right at the water's edge. Enjoy cottage meals at the outdoor table on the backyard patio, shaded by the awning. A propane barbeque is provided. Inside the cottage, there is a large flat screen television in the living room with a PVR Rogers cable box . You can watch your favourite shows while enjoying the magnificent view through the large picture window of the lake. There is an older television in the den in case of favourite programming conflicts. There is basic cable provided. Wireless Internet is also provided. The Master bedroom has two twin beds that are joined for a king size bed. The second bedroom has two twin beds. At the back of the cottage, there is the DEN with a pull out couch that can sleep two people. A set of linens for each bed will be provided. The main bathroom has a bath tub and shower. There is a small bathroom off the den with a toilet and sink. A set of six towels and facecloths will be provided. You must provide your own beach towels. The dining room table sits six people comfortably. The kitchen has a dishwasher, microwave, toaster, stove and refrigerator. All the necessary dinnerware, glassware and cutlery for six people are provided. Pots and frying pans with utensils are in the kitchen. The pantry, off the kitchen, has an extra sink and a toaster oven. Dish cloths and towels are provided. The cottage is on city water. Therefore you are able to drink the water from the taps. Professional cleaning is completed after each renter's stay. There is a No Smoking policy. No pets. There is no noise after 11pm according to the local bylaws. Keswick has grocery stores such as Zehr's, Food Basics and Walmart. Sutton has Sobey's and No Frills. Both towns have a Tim Horton's, Beer store and Liquor store. There are two golf courses close by. Willow Beach Golf Course is a five minute drive. It is an executive golf course with 9 holes, 2 of them are par 4, the rest are par 3. They also have a driving range and mini putt. Lakeview Golf Course in Sutton is a 10 minute drive and is a regular 9 hole course. There are many choices of restaurants in both Sutton and Keswick. We will leave menus available for some of our favourite ones. Take a stroll in the evening through the resort town of Jackson's Point next to Sutton. You can have dinner, stop at the quaint Ice Cream Shoppe and continue along to the park and marina. . Georgina's Adventure Headquarters, The ROC, is just a 5 minute drive away. They offer Rock Climbing, Ropes Course, Zipline, Naturalized Playground and Splash Pad, Labyrinth, Walking Trails, Tennis and Basketball. Next to the ROC is Pioneer Village and Archives. You can explore Georgina's rich history between 1850 and 1920. There is a one room schoolhouse, general store, train station, blacksmith shops and an apothecary. Another five minute drive to visit the Georgina Military Museum. This museum provides a rich and highly textured multi-dimensional presentation of members of our society in Canadian wartime conflicts of past and present. The Gem movie theatre is a 10 minute drive. Visit Upper Canada Mall, Newmarket's two storey premier shopping mall with well known brand names including Hollister, H and M, Disney Store and Forever 21. It is a thirty minute drive from the cottage. Canada's Wonderland is a 45 minute drive or just over an hour to Toronto. The oak floors in the living room and dining room have now been refinished. New tiles have been installed in the main bathroom and new carpet in the main bedroom and den.

CANADA’S WONDERLAND IS AN HOUR AWAY KIDS OF ALL AGES LOVE THE RIDES. SANTA’S VILLIAGE IN BRACEBRIDGE IS AMAZING FOR YOUNG CHILDREN ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY GET TO MEET SANTA IN THE SUMMER. THERE IS ALOT TO DO WHERE WE ARE LOCATED AS WE ARE CLOSE TO EVERYTHING NEAR THE CITY AS WELL AS EVERYTHING IN THE COUNTRY.

This property includes a computer with wireless internet service along with a top end entertainment center. The interior is warm and friendly with 29 windows and three ceiling fans providing as much air circulation as desired. The aim is to get you coming here as a getaway throughout the year be it for a week or a weekend. Two bicycles are provided for the more adventurous - the peninsula is perfect country.
