The SpaceI Ciottoli means the pebbles and is the name for this hilltop village. A dozen or so small buildings are nestled together, creating the atmosphere of a hamlet. It overlooks one of the oldest and most picturesque wine valleys of California. It is a perfect place for a retreat or quiet getaway particularly for writers and culinary artists. For cooking, dining in, or an event, Hilltop Oasis-Cookhouse can be booked separately. Sunset Ridge Bungalow is one of two detached guest suites on the property. It has one king size bed and a full size pullout sofa bed. NO CHILDREN OR PETS ARE ALLOWED. Sorry, this is due to liability issues. The host, Tatsuo, lives in the Olive Hill, the first of the three bungalows, along with Tomasso and Madalena, the two village cats. I Ciottoli is a healing sanctuary where one learns to breathe deeply, connect with the soul, expand the mind in order to experience Gaia's dialogue with the Universe. There is ample parking and easy loading/unloading area for every guest. 1. Fire Escape features a saltwater infinity swimming pool (15'x50'), hot tub and shower. 2. Bathhouse contains two bathrooms and a separate shower and changing room plus washer and dryer. 3. A foot path through an oak grove into the vineyard named Tamiko Knoll and the kitchen garden There is always someone on the property for questions and maintenance. The host has various activities to offer (normally for additional fees, due to time and effort). The experience of Dry Creek Valley is like no other. You will find yourself traversing through the vineyards on a quaint country road, entering this secret enclave, where the memories from Sonoma farm country of yesteryear are preserved. Wineries abound, you can spend a day touring the valley, tasting the sweet fruits of the earth that have been carefully crafted into the finest of wines. Downtown Geyserville has three great restaurants, a coffee shop, a historic general store (Bosworth and Son), mini markets, a few wine tasting rooms and wonderful members of community to meet and mingle with. There are gas stations, banks, super markets, shops, more wonderful restaurants, and great Farmer's Markets in the towns South and North of Geyserville. The SpaceThis listing is for Room # 1 at The Isis Oasis Lodge, The Goddess Bast Room. Bast was the ancient Egyptian Cat Goddess of Pleasure. For photographs of the entire Lodge, please take a look at my listing titled 'The Isis Oasis Lodge.' The 12 room Isis Oasis Lodge is a unique place to stay if you are visiting the wine country and want to have a spiritual experience. Drive in to our retreat center and park at the office. There you will see a small ornate Temple dedicated to the Goddess Isis. You may enter and offer a prayer while honoring the four directions. Get your room keys in the office off the spacious dining pavilion. Then you can drive up a hill where you will find the Lodge. Park behind this edifice and enter this historic building built circa 1932. None of the rooms have a private bath, TV, or air conditioning, however the lodge always stays cool. Each room is designed to reflect a different Egyptian Goddess and holds a description of the attributes she represents. All have ceiling fans, exotic netting over the beds, and artifacts representing each particular Goddess within. You can enjoy the safari lounge with fireplace that overlooks the sparkling swimming pool just outside the lodge within a secluded garden. There is a hot spa and a sauna as well as a wood burning oven in this area. Upstairs in the lodge is one gigantic room with a rug on one side where you might like to do some yoga, or watch TV. If you need to stay connected, the entire Lodge has free wireless internet. There is also a ping pong table and pool table for your enjoyment. The lodge has two dorm style bathrooms, one for women and one for men. The upstairs has more bathrooms plus a spa tub room. There are fine dining options within walking distance from The Isis Oasis Lodge e.g. 'Catelli's Italian Restaurant', 'Diavola Pizzeria.' Additionally, there is 'The Geyserville Mud' coffee and pastry shop, which is a popular spot, and 'The Hoffman House Restaurant' on the north end of town, which is a terrific spot for breakfast. We are close to many renowned wineries (Francis Ford Coppola, Trentadue, Trione, Geyser Peak, Clos Du Bois etc.), and the Russian River is within a short walking distance for kayaking/canoeing. Lake Sonoma is about 6 miles away, and is a popular spot for boating and hiking. Additionally, River Rock Casino is a 5 mile drive away. If you are coming as a couple or individual, you will find Isis Oasis Lodge a refreshing change from the everyday hotel or motel. Please come and visit the unique...Isis Oasis Lodge. You don't have to travel far to be in a whole other world, time and place! **Note: If you're coming as a group, multiple rooms can be rented out simultaneously OR, the entire Lodge can be rented out for large groups/events. Check out my other listings. Also note that if other rooms in the Lodge are rented, then, you'll be sharing the facilities/amenities with other guests. I also have other rentals on my property e.g. a secluded cottage for couples 'The Cabernet Cabin.' Again, check out all my other listings! **
