The SpaceBuilt in 1913 as a working class family home. Disregard recent feedback placed by a prima donna who picked bad weather and expected a palace. Price further reduced as a result of above. Guest AccessThere may be a small quantity of our belongings such as tools and footwear in storage but not in your way. You have a key to the whole house. Interaction with GuestsYOU CHOOSE. The NeighborhoodThis is an ordinary small city residential area with mainly settled working families. There are many activities in Gisborne area so please check out the Gisborne i-site or Council site on line. It depends on your own interests of course. Tell us why you are coming and we will get you more info. Kia ora Getting AroundThe area is flat and so easy walking. There are buses passing the street but only four times daily in each direction. Airport taxi approx $13 and similar to post office, intercity buses or beach. We would walk. Supermarket 2km. Small shop at end of street. We will help with transport where possible. Other Things to NoteThere are one double and one single bed ready to go. A crib in smaller room doubles as a place to put your suitcase. Let us know if you need more - a fold-out double is in the lounge and can be made ready if you ask in advance. Gisborne shines, when it shines. If the weather is bleak you are likely to have a boring stay unless you just want to hibernate :-)

The NeighborhoodThis definitely a unique neighbourhood. The house is a former show home in commercial area, with no residential neighbours. A very short walk to the supermarket, laundromat, and city restaurants & cafes. Other Things to NoteThere is currently no access to the deck at the front of the property, due to damage sustained by an errant vehicle in September. We are working to get this up and running as soon as possible.
