The SpaceThe interior of the apartment is well kept, lit, and ventilated. Moreover, it is furnished with modern furniture and appliances.
The efficient, modern appliances use only electricity. Well, perhaps less since the boiler, also, uses solar energy.
Moreover, the roof of the building is covered with solar panels, and any electrical energy used will be offset with the solar electricity produced on-site everyday. Gas or other fuels are not used. This is a zero energy place.
Your electricity and water bill should be lower than at comparable places due to the selection of low energy and low water consumption appliances (read below) ceteris paribus.

Beach day trips are easily accomplished and reachable within a one hour drive.
Day trips to northern cities or towns like Tzfat, Rosh Pinna, and Kiriat Shmona among others can easily be accomplished without seeming overly ambitious. Kiriat Shmona, for instance, located a few kilometers from the border with Lebanon is about a 90-minute car drive.
Day trips to Tel Aviv can be achieved in the same way that many working people commute everyday. For instance, daily commuters drive to a nearby train station and take the train to one of the many train stations in Tel Aviv.
As an example, you could drive or be driven to the nearest train station in the morning. You could then step off at your selected Tel Aviv train station 90-minutes later. You may perhaps have an Israeli breakfast in Tel Aviv. Afterwards, you could go shopping.
In the late afternoon, you may choose to have either a late lunch or early dinner, and, afterwards, you may decide to take an early evening train back to your initial departure train station.
From the train station, you could walk to the nearby bus station, and you could take a bus to Tzomet Nahalal. There you could take bus 303 to Givat Ela.
Jerusalem can, also, be reached by train.
There is a daily afternoon bus leaving Givat Ela, bus 303. A connection can be made in Tzomet Nahalal to different towns and cities. Ramat Ishai is about 12-minutes away. A transfer can be done to Migdal Haemeq which is about 15-minutes away. Afula and Natzereth are further away at about 30-minutes away, and Tiberias and Haifa are about 40-minutes away. However, the best way of getting around is with a car.
Approximate times by car to different places:
•5-minutes to Zarzir
•7-minutes to Octagon restaurant
•12-minutes to Ramat Yishay
•15-minutes to Alonim
•15-minutes to Migdal HaEmeq
•20-minutes to Kiriat Tivon
•30-minutes to Afula
•30-minutes to Natzereth
•35-minutes to Checkpost
•40-minutes to Haifa
•40-minutes to Tiberias
•90-minutes to Kiriat Shmona
•90 - 120 minutes to Tel Aviv
Please note that in the Fall of 2016 a new train line will be inaugurated. This will permit to leave from the train station located below the international airport in Tel Aviv to the train station at Lev Hamifratz, and directly from Lev Hamifratz to either of the train stations at Kfar Baruch or Kfar Yehoshua. Both of these last two train stations are approximately a 15- to 20-minute drive from Givat Ela. Other Things to NoteBed sheets, pillows, blankets, towels, deposit, value added taxes (V.A.T.), cleaning fee, utilities, cable, Internet, and fixed line telephone:
Bed sheets, pillows, blankets, and towels
Bed sheets, pillows, blankets, and towels are NOT provided. As a bed size sheet suggestion take a look at the bed dimensions in the general description. You can choose your bed sheets from you house bed if it is the same size or larger, or may choose to buy new sheets, and take them back home with you. The washer and dryer provided will wash up to 8-kg of clothes. In addition, there is a drying rack in the bathroom.
The security deposit is collected in addition to the rental fees.
Israeli residents will be charged a value added tax.
For long-term rentals, the cleaning fee can be can be charged either weekly, monthly, or only when leaving the premises. In this way, you can decide whether to buy your own cleaning supplies and clean yourself or have someone else do it for you. Cleaning expenses (particularly labor) in Israel are expensive.
Regardless of what you choose, (for long-term rentals) you are still responsible for a cleaning fee session when you finally vacate the premises.
For short-term rentals from one day up to 27-days a cleaning fee is charged once per week, and it is in addition to the rental fee.
Cleaning will be done once per week at a mutually agreeable time. Please let me know your preferred cleaning times. Please note that Airbnb is charging the weekly cleaning fee only once. However, you need to multiply it by the number of weeks of your stay.
Electricity and water:
Electricity and water are not included in the rental of the apartment, and they are added to the final bill. At the end of your stay an additional bill for these utilities will be added.
A water meter is located at the entrance of the apartment, and an electricity meter is located inside the electrical panel within the apartment.
Guests are invited to photograph these meters at the time of receiving the entrance keys and at the time of leaving the premises.
In this way, guests can calculate their electricity and water usage by subtracting the respective meter differences between their final utility usage and their initial reading. This allows for objectivity and fairness in settling utility expenses between, Airbnb, guests, and hosts.
Payment of cleaning fees and utilities:
These charges can be paid directly to the owner, or they can be added to AirBnb's final bill before leaving.
Internet, cable, and fixed line telephone:
The apartment is cable, Internet, and fixed line telephone ready. However, these last three services are NOT provided by the host. Their service must be requested from the local phone and cable companies by the guests.
This apartment has a minimum stay of three weeks.
