The kitchen and bathroom are well stocked with supplies so you can settle right in. Guest AccessGuests have access to the two bedroom duplex home which includes: two bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms, living room, deck, kitchen, dining room and laundry facilities (in the 2 bedroom basement only). Garage access is currently not available. Feel free to enjoy our 100+ acre property. We will be available via phone, email or in person, as may be necessary. However, we respect the guests’ privacy and want them respect ours. The NeighborhoodGlen, NY is a historic small farming community residing side-by-side with a few nonagricultural businesses. The town has excellent access to all of the Capital Region amenities without the hustle and bustle of city living. Our property is very close to retail centers such as Amsterdam Commons, Crossgates Mall, Colonie Center, and Clifton Park Center. You can also enjoy activities such as hiking, camping, skiing, and boating. We searched for many, many years to locate this property for our home. We preferred Glen, NY because of its privacy, wide-open space, excellent view of the surrounding land, streams and wildlife. Additionally, it has easy access to all interstates in the Capital Region. Don’t be surprised to see deer, wild turkeys, ducks and other wildlife in their natural habitat. Attractions such as Howe Caverns and the National Shrine of the North American Martyrs in Auriesville, NY are only a few minutes away! Getting AroundPublic transportation is not easily accessible in this area so guests should have a vehicle to enjoy the nearby attractions. We have plenty of room for outdoor parking at no additional charge. Albany International Airport is about 45 minutes away. The closest Amtrak station (Amsterdam, NY) is only a 20-minute drive from us. Easily hop on to head to the Big Apple (About 3 hours) or elsewhere for a relaxing scenic ride. Other Things to NoteMax occupancy is 4 people (2 adults and 2 children under the age of 12 without additional charge). For a third or fourth adult (ages 12 and over) it will be an extra $30/night per person, provided that the guests are willing to share double beds. Regardless, the maximum number of people that can stay in the house is four.
