They can offer the weary traveller (or two) your very own lovely, large bedroom and bathroom/toilet. All rooms are fully air-conditioned. Your large bedroom features a luxurious king size bed plus TV. This room has access to the balcony where you can relax and un-wind with a glass of wine and a cigarette (smokers welcome, on balcony only). You can expect the utmost, non-intrusive privacy. Our spacious and light-filled home on the 10th floor has 180 degree views of the Nerang River and the hinterland. The main attraction is that there are no neighbouring high-rises that will block out your view and that means 100% privacy. You will have access to a spacious living area, dining room, modern kitchen facilities and free wi-fi. As our guest, you will also have access to an indoor heated pool, outdoor pool, spa, sauna and tennis court. You are a 5 minute stroll from the beach and 10 minutes walk from the centre of Surfers Paradise. You are 10 minutes drive away from the exciting night-life and wonderful restaurants of Main Beach, Marina Mirage, Broadbeach and the casino. The public bus is at your doorstep. Tourist buses will take you to all the theme parks and it is a 40 minute drive to Mount Tamborine with it’s interesting wineries, restaurants, galleries and boutique gift shops. Near to the famous Pacific Fair Shopping Centre & transport hub with buses to beaches, Worlds & airport. Within walking distance of local shops including cafes, fish & chips, pharmacy, mini-mart, newsagent, butcher and bottle shop. There are 2 small dogs that live in the house who think they are human. Please note this is not Self Catering Accommodation. Possibility of occasional use of Kitchen and BBQ by prior arrangement for stays of three days or more. Getting AroundThere is a bus near our corner, it connects to buses to the north and south of the coast or we can walk just under 2 kilometres for all other transport up and down the Gold Coast highway, the trams and to the Worlds.

Getting AroundAmalfi Drive (our street) is just across the bridge from Gold Coast Hwy - with plenty public transport around and towards any part of Gold Coast. The public transport from airport to Surfers Paradise is by Bus 777 airport to Broadbeach South then take the tram to NorthCliff station and 10 minutes walking to Amalfi Drive. Getting AroundTravellers may fly in to either Brisbane Airport or the Gold Coast Airport. There is a direct train connection between Brisbane Airport and the Gold Coast. The nearest station is Nerang, and a bus service is available from there to transport travellers to various locations around Surfers Paradise. We are a 15-17 minute walk to the light rail which will connect you to most of the highlights on the Gold Coast. If guests fly in to the Gold Coast Airport (Coolangatta) they may choose to catch the airport bus or a taxi to Broadbeach. The journey will take approximately 30 - 40 minutes depending on traffic. . Other Things to NoteGuests are welcome to enjoy the ambience of the sub-tropical courtyard and/or relaxing on our jetty at their leisure. The SpaceThis self contained unit is clean and tastefully appointed, with fully equipped kitchen, 2 modern bathrooms and small dining area. There is a balcony at the front overlooking the enclosed pool area, and a large outdoor entertaining area, perfect to enjoy a drink and a meal on a balmy evening. The unit can sleep a maximum of 5 people, however is best suited to a family or 2 couples, with 1 Queen bed, 1 trio bunk bed (single at the top, double at the bottom) and the lounge suite opens into a double bed divan. All bed linen, pillows, doonas, blankets and bath towels are provided - guests are required to bring their own beach towels. Guest AccessGuests will have full use of unit, including refrigerator, microwave, washing machine and DVD player,as well as an outdoor entertaining area and pool with child safe fencing Interaction with GuestsGuests have full use of the unit. Correspondence with guests is primarily via text and email. The NeighborhoodThe unit is in a small, well kept, low rise block, where there are many permanent tenants as well as some holiday makers. The unit is close to the beach, and close enough to enjoy all that Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach have to offer, but just far enough to get away from the hustle and bustle at the end of the day. It is close to public transport and many great restaurants and hotels. Getting AroundMany buses and the new light rail service run within a short distance from the unit. The unit is well serviced for people wanting to visit any of the Theme Parks on the Gold Coast, as well as many options to visit any of the major shopping areas in the vicinity of the Gold Coast. Other Things to NoteAlthough we do invite stays of 2 nights, during peak periods a minimum stay of 3 or 5 nights are required (at other times we do require a 2 night minimum). Please contact us for specific details. We are committed to providing quality accommodation at reasonable prices for people to enjoy, and we ask for our guests assistance to achieve this. Fresh clean linen and towels are provided for the beds in the 2 bedrooms. Bath towels are not to leave the unit therefore guests are required to bring their own beach towels. An additional charge of $35 will be applied for more than 4 guests, depending on the linen used during the stay. Please note we are a self contained unit - we are not a hotel. On arrival we aim to provide guests with basic items to commence their holiday, including coffee, tea, sugar, milk, paper towel and toilet paper, along with some other staples. If you finish any of these items during your stay, please replace them in consideration of the next guests. Cleaning by a professional and trusted company is based on 2 people for 1 hour at the end of your stay. If longer than 1 hour cleaning is required at the end of your stay, any additional charge will be withdrawn from your security deposit. We have recently had some problems with small cockroaches, which are prolific in this part of Queensland and are not an indication of uncleanliness. The unit has been professionally sprayed and we hope this has eradicated the problem. We do not provide WiFi, however there are many areas and shopping centres close by that have free WiFi access. Due to it's size, the unit is best suited for a family (ie a couple and 2-3 children) or two couples. As we do not have child-proof locks on doors or cupboards and do not provide porta-cots or other baby items, it is up to parents to determine if our unit is suitable for young children (ie 3 - 4 under). For queries about the suitability of the unit for your children, please contact us to discuss further. The SpaceI have a beautiful 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment located on a high floor that is available for rent. The apartment is sunny North facing and has great ocean views that you can see from the kitchen, balcony, loungeroom and bedroom. The apartment is located right in the heart of Surfers Paradise and is 200metres walking distance to the beach. The apartment complex has great facilities which include a swimming pool, spa and tennis court. You have access and use of the lounge, balcony and kitchen (vegetarian cooking only). The unit is very modern and comfortable with plenty of space. The unit is ideal for both couples looking for a romantic escape or people visiting gold coast for a fun weekend of sun. The lounge room is spacious which includes High Definition TV and has a very big spacious lounge. The full sized kitchen is self-contained and features fridge, oven, microwave and dishwasher which allows you to prepare meals inhouse if you feel like eating in. The unit is close to all major attractions, restaurants, shops and sites in surfers paradise and is within walking distance to bus station. Host will supply clean towels and sheets and looks forward to hosting you in sunny Gold Coast, Australia. NB: House Rule - absolutely no smoking or excessive drinking. No outside visitors allowed. A stone's throw away is the Jupiter's Casino, Patrolled beaches, Cascade Gardens, Majestical Hinterland & the 3 worlds(Movie,Dream & the Sea) are situated nearby. Walking is a pleasure as there are many beautiful parks to visit in this neighbourhood.Highly recommended: visit Jupiters Casino which operates 24 hours a day. Cascade Gardens, a peaceful sanctuary with shady lawns,picnic areas and BBQ's and of course our world class BEACHES! 38km providing great surfing opportunities at Broadbeach , Burleigh Heads and Kirra just to name a few. For those who prefer calm waters, Budds Beach, Tallebudgera and Currumbin Waters spring to mind. Beautiful one day, perfect the next! Getting AroundThe house has 3 off street car spaces. These spaces are regular spaces for average size cars. If cars are large 4 wheel drive or work trucks only two spaces will be available. At the door there is a local bus service that links to the light rail and other bus routes. The Gold Coast Airport is 30 minutes from the house (18.5 km). Taxi fare is approx. AUD 50. You may hire a rental car at the airport, however, booking a car before you arrive would be wise. Door to door transfers in a mini bus cost AUD 30 one way and AUD 57 return per person. To use public transport, take the 777 Airport Bus to Broadbeach South and connect with light rail to Broadbeach North approx. AUD 10 per person. After reaching Broadbeach North station it is a 20 minute walk to the house from the Gold Coast Highway. Flights into Brisbane Airport are serviced by train, coach, taxi or limo. Currently I do not have costing for these services. The Gold Coast has very good transport options. Mostly flat, walking is easy and driving is a cinch. After fantastic success last year the Australian Open Bowls festival will be held at Broadbeach 11-23 June 2016. The house is well appointed and provides plenty of space for 7 people to spread out and relax. The beds are very comfortable and all the creature comforts are well provided for. An added convenience is that children can be easily supervised in the pool from the kitchen/family room â something that is not possible in an apartment setup. The tropical ambiance of the house really makes you feel like youâre in a 5 star resort. Access to fishing rods gave the kids hours of fun off the jetty trying to catch âthe big oneâ while the kayaks provided the opportunity to explore the stunning Broadbeach waterways. To add to that, our gracious and friendly hosts, Colin and Roslyn, really helped to make our holiday one that we will never forget. Right from our booking through to our arrival they provided an informative and efficient service. With the perfect climate, walking is a pleasure or in the car, it's all a 2-5 minute drive. People have the perception that the Gold Coast is all about Surfers Paradise and highrises, but homes on the waterways provide an entirely different way of living and only by staying in one of these homes, can visitors see why the locals are so passionate about their lifestyle. It's pretty special to have a kayak before breakfast launched from your own sandy beach, or a fish off the jetty, or a quick dip in the surf at Kurrawa, and later in the day, drinks under the bali hut before strolling down the road for dinner at one of the multitude of restaurant styles to choose from. Getting AroundThe light rail is operational with a stop outside the Convention Centre (10 mins walk from the house) and another outside Pacific Fair Shopping Centre. There's buses running all over the Gold Coast with stops outside the Convention Centre, and even one at the end of the street. Taxis have stands outside the Oasis Shopping Centre. Im 2 blocks to the beach and transport at your door here with the light rail station (Florida Gardens a short walk away) Getting AroundBus stop out the front of the building and light rails station is two blocks away (in front of Crowne Plaza) Other Things to NoteI may be able to pick you up and drop you off at airport - $50 one way (taxis cost around $60 depending on traffic). I drive a new 4WD vehicle so plenty of space in the boot for luggage.

The bedrooms and kitchen/living room are spacious with new furniture and polished floors throughout. Guest AccessThere is a convenience store diagonally across the street and located in the same street is a Fish and Chips Shop and a Bottle shop - what more could you want! The Oasis Shopping Centre is a 7 min walk with a Woolworths grocery store and hundreds more specialty shops. There is a monorail directly to the Gold Coast Casino. For those who like to eat out, there are a plethora of award winning restaurants or if you feel like cooking, there are top end appliances including a Miele dishwasher to clean up afterwards. The property is fully enclosed with one car off-street parking. There is also free street parking. The location is ideal for central Broadbeach dining and shopping, Broadbeach bowls club, and the Gold Coast Convention Centre. The surf is 150m with the Broadbeach flags literally at the end of the street. Pacific Fair is a 5 min drive and central Surfers Paradise is only 1km away. The light rail station is only 100m from the house. There is a one-bedroom house at the rear of the property which is also available on airbnb for holiday rental. It is peaceful yet right in the heart of the action. Not far away is the trendy Elk Cafe. There is a park at the end of the street near the beach. The Broadbeach bowls club is across the road. Getting AroundJust 20 seconds from the house is a bus stop that takes you north or south along the beach. We are 100m from the new light rail. Or you can easily walk to many great places - Convention Centre, Cascade gardens with Australian wildlife, Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach Oasis. Other Things to NoteThe house is a simple 70's style beach house with a large living area and three spacious bedrooms. Master Bedroom - King Bed with Robes Bedroom 2 - Queen Bed with Robes Bedroom 3 - A set of bunks and a single bed with Robes. (Sleeps three) Spacious outdoor area has undercover seating and a Weber gas barbecue. There is one bathroom with a separate toilet. There is also an additional toilet in the laundry at the rear of the house. An outdoor shower is located on the side of the house near the entrance for washing off after the beach etc. If you're looking for a home away from home then this is the holiday house for you.

The SpaceOur guest accommodation is contained in a separate area with 2 bedrooms and a 3 way bathroom for convenience. The bathroom is separate from the toilet and the extra vanity is also separate from the toilet. We will only book one family in at any one time, so this gives you the option to have a maximum of 4 people stay with us. Our beds are very comfortable, with extra pillows available. There is a choice of air-conditioning or fans in the bedrooms for cooling if needed. We do not have Televisions in the bedrooms, however you are welcome to bring your own computers or iPads as we have Wi-Fi throughout the house. Guest AccessAirport Pick-up's available on request. We provide a lovely casual Australian Breakfast! Beach is 30mins walk. Public bus is 3mins walk. Getting AroundPublic buses are very reliable and are only a 3 min walk from the house. The train station is a short bus ride away and trains depart for Brisbane on the hour. For those who would like the use of a car rental cars are very reasonably priced. We also provide off street parking for one car. If arriving at the Gold Coast Airport we can pick you up at a cost of $50 (local taxi fare is $65). If arriving in Brisbane we suggest to catch the train to Nerang Station (1.5 hours) and we can pick-up at a cost of $30 (local taxi fare is $35). We have Coolangatta Airport which is on the Southern end of the Gold Coast, so be sure to book with either Qantas, Jetstar, Virgin Australia or Tiger if you're travelling from Sydney or inter or intrastate. Coolangatta is also an international airport with flights arriving from New Zealand, Asia and Japan. There is a spa supermarket, around the corner and within a 10 minutes walk is Broadbeach with a supermarket, restaurants, specialty shops, cafes and bars. The local surf club and great outdoor park is opposite. Walk a further 10 minutes and you're at the meca shopping centre of Pacific Fair with major department store and shops and banks. Within 25 minutes walk up the beach you are in Surfers Paradise. The pinnacle of the Gold Coast with your senses and feel of a tourist area all in one area. Relax in Cavill Mall and meet the locals or get sand between your toes and roll in the most popular beach on the Coast - Surfers Paradise! It truly is Paradise. You can catch the bus either heading north to Southport or south to Coolangatta, via the Gold Coast Highway with the bus shelter only 5 minutes walk away. My kitchen is available for limited cooking only. I am vegetarian, but you can use the barbque on the beachside for meat cooking. Borrow my boogie-board. Getting AroundLots of public transport with bus stops 2 streets behind - a 5 minute walk and the tram on the Gold Coast Highway with direct access to Surfers Paradise, alternatively you can walk the beach to Surfers and will take about 30 minutes. Walking to Broadbeach is about 15 minutes. Other Things to NoteFree Wifi is available in the mall at Broadbeach and Cavill Mall in Surfers Paradise and many cafes and restaurants around my area.

A stone's throw away is the Jupiter's Casino, Patrolled beaches, Cascade Gardens, Majestical Hinterland & the 3 worlds(Movie,Dream & the Sea) are situated nearby.
