Tibooburra B&B Kalamunda has a total of 2 queen size beds (The Bottlebrush Room and the Wattle Room) and 1 king size bed (Lechenaultia Room.) Bedrooms are roomy, beautifully appointed with comfortable beds, crisp fresh white 1500tc cotton linen, cotton duvet cover and electric blankets for those cooler nights. There are 2 pure cotton waffle robes in each room for your comfort and convenience. Complimentary chocolates are placed in each room as a special welcoming treat.
Each room has its own reverse cycle air conditioner and heated freestanding heated towel rail. For our guest’s security and safety, all rooms are complete with internal and external individual lockable doors. Two bathrooms and separate toilet/powder room with hair shampoo, conditioner, soap and hair dryers. Smoke detectors are fitted throughout the home and in the unlikely event of an emergency fire extinguishers are easily accessed.
The first bathroom has a separate shower and next to the main bathroom is the toilet/powder room. Number two bathroom has shower, vanity and toilet. Bathrooms and powder room all include complimentary shampoos, conditioners and soap, hair dryers and luxurious pure cotton toweling.
Tibooburra also offers a well appointed kitchenette/lounge with wall mounted TV, dining table, settee with cushions, bar fridge, ample bench room with cupboards and drawers containing crockery, glassware and cutlery. There is also a bench top oven for heating takeaway meals for guests who prefer to stay in. Iron and ironing board is also available and also access to upstairs laundry and outdoor drying court.
You may watch big screen LCD TV or DVD or listen to music in our comfortable (feel good) lounge at the top of the stairs or take advantage of the sheltered paved area outside your room, sit back into one of the comfy outdoor setting chairs, relax and enjoy the garden and the beautiful views while sipping on a glass or two, of our complimentary Tawny Port! Guest AccessTibooburra's Guests have access to the entire ground floor including the well equipped kitchenette/lounge with fridge, bench, cupboards and drawers stocked with cutlery, crockery, glassware. Selection of teas, coffees and a bench top oven for heating takeaways etc. Bathroom with bath and shower and separate toilet/powder room all conveniently situated on the ground floor next to all rooms. Another shower and toilet located just up the internal stairs fully equipped with fresh towels, toiletries and hairdryer. Upstairs guests are welcome to relax in the comfortable cosy lounge with big screen LCD TV, DVD player and CD player. Laundry, outside clothesline or clothes dryer available on request.
Outside the Guest's rooms sheltered under the balcony is a paved area with outdoor setting and comfortable chairs where you can relax, enjoy the garden and watch the birds darting around the grevilleas feasting on the honey. If you are quiet, the bandicoots will pay you a visit too.
Breakfast will be served upstairs in the main dining and kitchen area. In warm weather Guests may have breakfast outside on the balcony while taking in the super views. Interaction with GuestsPlease do not hesitate to ask questions. Bronwen will be available 24/7. Information folders are in your room listing things to do and see and places to eat out in the Kalamunda area. Peter and I reside upstairs, our Guests are welcome to pop up for a chat in the evening or just relax in your own private area. The NeighborhoodNangana Way is just above Poison Gully. A strange name but it's absolutely beautiful and the walk from Tibooburra through Poison Gully and back is an easy stroll and the scenery is lovely. Getting AroundTibooburra B&B Kalamunda is only 15 minutes from Perth Domestic and International Airports. The bus stop is 1.2 kilometers walk and is situated on Kalamunda Road. Travel time into Perth City is approximately 55 minutes and Kalamunda Village is a ten minute drive up the hill. A car would be more convenient for exploring The Perth Hills, the Swan Valley and of course Perth's amazing beaches. Other Things to NoteGuests can freely wander around our beautifully landscaped gardens and watch the crazy parrots at feeding time in the back yard. We have great views of Perth Airport too! Watching the planes landing and taking off without the noise from the balcony is a favourite pass time.
