I enjoy interacting with my guests with interesting conversation and showing them around the area if they wish.
The neighborhood is low-key and quiet, with underground utilities and curving streets. Guests will want to explore the surrounding area, however, and not spend time at "home." We have so much beauty in close proximity, with hundreds of hiking and biking and horseback trails, river rafting, and cross-country and downhill skiing. For history buffs, there is ancient Native American rock art in abundance, as well as dinosaur tracks and quarries. Dinosaur Journey Museum in nearby Fruita is one of the top ten in the world.
There is public transit (bus) nearby if needed, and taxi service is available. Host will meet you at the airport, train station, or bus depot and will take you on tour of the surrounding area for a small fee.
