The SpaceWait until you see the expansive views of the canals from this spacious townhouse in the best position on the Mandurah canals. The property has been newly renovated and has an ultra modern and luxurious feel. There are three bedrooms which are all upstairs. The main bedroom has a king size bed, large built in robes and a large ensuite with a bath, shower, double vanity and separate toilet. The second bedroom has a queen size bed with built in robes and the third bedroom has two single beds with built in robes. Upstairs is also the second bathroom with shower and vanity with separate toilet. Downstairs is all of the entertaining space. There is a large open plan kitchen, dining and lounge room. The kitchen contains dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, appliance cupboard, oven & hotplates and is very well equipped. The dining area seats 6 people. The lounge area has a 3 seater and a 2.5 seater which are very comfortable. The flat screen tv is wall mounted and is also linked to a DVD and VCR player. There are DVDs and CDs at the property that can be all be played through the DVD player. The entire property contains ducted reverse cycle airconditioning to keep you cool in summer and warm in winter. This open plan living area opens out onto a decked entertainment area with an outdoor table and chairs for 6, BBQ and retractable sun shade. There are steps down to the canals with your own jetty to use. The property also has 2 paddle boards and crab nets to use. The townhouse is in a secure complex, with one under cover parking and one parking bay. We are located just a few minutes drive from the heart of Mandurah or an easy 15 minute stroll. Mandurah has many attractions including bars, restaurants and cafes. There is a theatre and cinema complex. Why not bring your boat and enjoy the luxury of mooring on your doorstep. You can also take canal and dolphin boat tours from Mandurah center or even hire your own boat to explore the canals, estuary and beaches at your leisure. The SpaceBring your own boat and keep it at your private jetty to use whenever you want. There is also split system air conditioning throughout the house and bedrooms to ensure a comfortable stay. The house is also only 3min drive or a 15min walk to the Mandurah foreshore where you'll find lots of restaurants, cafes and shops to visit. The house is very family/kid friendly as the theatre room can be completely closed off with glass doors to allow you to keep an eye on your children. Outside there is a gate between the house and the canal so your children can play around without fear of being too near the water. This is our family holiday home that we rarely get to use these days and it's such a waste to leave a beautiful house empty so that is why we're excited to open the place up to fellow Airbnb users. Whether it be on a bean bag out the front, at the table reading the paper, on the day bed or lounge reading a book, or watching TV, it lends itself to all of these. We do have FREE bikes on site & FREE WiFi The NeighborhoodWe love the fact that we are surrounded by the Indian Ocean on the front and the river and estuary between us and the city of Mandurah. It is a very quiet older suburb that has not been over developed like so many areas. Dome Cafe is within an easy walk around the ocean front or 2 minutes drive, open daily and licensed. It is a wonderful area to cycle both north and south along the ocean front and through the wetlands if you are a bird lover. We are very close to Peelwood winery and the village offers a full range of restaurants and eateries. We do have several not so new bikes that our guests are welcome to borrow. Mandurah Country Club is walking distance or 2 minutes by car. Halls Head Shopping Centre is 4K away and has 58 specialty shops & cafes including Aldi, Coles, Kmart, bakeries, hairdressers etc. Getting AroundWe suggest a hire car is the most convenient means of transport in Western Australia due to the size of our state. The local bus stop is just 2 blocks or an easy walk and safe and clean to use. The train from Perth to Mandurah is brilliant and runs every 10 minutes during peak hour then 30 to 40minutes in off peak. It takes 55 minutes from Perth to Mandurah then either a bus or a taxi to Halls Head. There is a mini bus from Perth Airport to Mandurah & they will drop you at our door which needs to be pre booked. A taxi ride from the airport to Mandurah is equal to a week of car hire if you use an off airport hire firm. We are very happy to assist with information on local rentals etc. We do have FREE bikes on site for our guests - adult size only, we don't have any small children's bikes. Having a hire care in our climate is the most convenient form of transport. Other Things to NoteThe Wedge is not recommended for small children as there is no play area and an open front deck railing which has at least a 1 m drop, however it is your choice. The beach is a great play area or we do have the Beach House next door which is perfect for families with children. Private carport at your door with security lighting. Gas BBQ in rear garden with entertainment area for dining or breakfast in the sunshine. Free WiFi

Other Things to NoteThe property is located in "Golfers Paradise". There are many golf clubs in this area, Mandurah Country Club is only 1km away. The beach across the road is protected by a reef and the bay is pleasant swimming for all ages and includes public facilities. Only a short stroll to the Dome Cafe and Doddis Beach with calm waters and outdoor BBQs for your use.
