The SpaceA much better option than staying in the very centre of town. This ground floor villa is positioned on a cliff top in Bulimba, a happening inner city location. The very spacious, self contained villa is uniquely positioned up high and extremely private. It has a glorious outlook, including views of Brisbane river and visiting cruise ships docked at the Portside Cruise Ship Terminal. A five minute walk will find you in trendy Oxford Street, one of the most popular cafe, restaurant, movie and boutique shopping precincts in Brisbane. Alternatively, you can catch a ferry (from 2 minutes walk away from the villa) across the river to two other renowned restaurant and entertainment districts, Portside and Racecourse Road in Hamilton and Ascot. You can continue on your ferry(CityCat) ride all along the Brisbane river, taking you to the city and all the Brisbane Hot Spots. The property has two carpeted bedrooms, both with built in wardrobes. The main bedroom has french doors leading out onto the large private courtyard. THERE IS ALSO A LARGE THIRD BEDROOM WITH A QUEEN SIZE BED AND BUILT IN WARDROBES. THIS ROOM IS OPENED UP FOR GROUPS OR FAMILIES THAT INCLUDE MORE THAN 4 GUESTS OR FOR AN ADDITIONAL COST. There are 2 large open plan living areas, one of which has a well equipped kitchen, as well as 2 large concertina glass doors that also open out onto the beautifully breezy courtyard. The property is lovely and cool for the summer weather, with ceiling fans throughout combined with the cliff top breezes. There is also reverse cycle airconditioning. There are a number of pleasing sitting areas, and there are both inside and outside dining areas for 6 or more people. There is internal access to the fully equipped laundry. The property has mesh security and mosquito screens. FREE & AVAILABLE PARKING is on one of 2 quiet streets with the option of accessing the property either by 25 stairs leading up to the private entrance of the villa or ALTERNATIVELY, for those who prefer not to have to use the stairs, there is a walk through easement leading you to this same private entrance. You are able to drive up to the property for the purpose of dropping off luggage items. Games, puzzles, CD's, books, binoculars, a Seasonal Herb Garden and more are provided for your enjoyment during your stay. Getting AroundThere are huge choices for public transport at Cliff Top Villa, but the pick of them is the gorgeous river transport that Brisbane provides, the CityCat! The villa is only a couple of minutes walk to the local CityCat/Ferry Terminal and you can catch it there to central locations or most places of interest and Brisbane's attractions. It links in with the bus & train service, so where ever you can't get to by CityCat, you can connect with a bus or train. Other Things to NoteGuests need to provide us with a $500 AUD Refundable Security Deposit. This Security Deposit is fully refundable provided that the property is left clean and undamaged, the keys are returned and that guests leave by 10.00am on the day of departure. This Security Deposit is paid via the secure PayPal system, and reimbursed to guests via PayPal immediately after the cleaners have inspected the property after guests have left. As per our policy, security deposits are fully reimbursed provided that the property is left undamaged and relatively clean, the keys are returned and guests leave by 10.00am on the day of departure. To clarify what we mean by “clean", we clean the property and wash linen before each new guest arrives, and we are proud of the standard we provide. •We certainly do not expect guests to wash linen or scrub floors, bathrooms and toilets prior to leaving. •The Barbeque and oven and stove must be left clean •All rubbish & recycling needs to be disposed of appropriately in the downstairs bins as per the provided instructions. •The property needs to be left in a respectfully clean, neat and tidy state. •If not, or if the barbeque and/or oven need cleaning, we have no option but to charge for extra cleaning fees. This extra charge can be very high, especially if we have incoming guests the same day, and especially if we have to call in an extra cleaner to assist or are unable to get the property clean in time for the incoming guests. Luckily we have mostly experienced very respectful guests, however it is not uncommon for people to rent holiday or short-term accommodation and to leave all surfaces, walls, furniture and utensils very mucky, to leave toys and games in disarray and to leave mess behind for others to clean up. The SpaceRight in the heart of Oxford Street. Pop down to all the cafés, cheapest cinema in Bris, have a cool drink at the pub or take the kids to the park! Garage, swimming pool & equipment for your little one! Available to make your stay memorable is a two bedroom apartment right in the hub of the quaint Oxford Street Bulimba. You can book the entire 2 bedroom unit. One is a large bedroom available with a queen sized bed, tallboy, large double built in wardrobe, with full length mirror, and a bookshelf with an unusually varied range of books. The second bedroom is smaller, however still has a queen bed, and built in wardrobe, and is more than comfortable for a long term stay. Also available is a porta cot, pram and high chair for your little one! There is a primary bathroom with shower/bath, toilet and vanity. And in the laundry there is a second toilet, simple basin, bench top and mirrored cupboard space to make a very functional second bathroom. There is aircon (reverse cycle for heating as well), ceiling fans, a dishwasher and 2 balconies. The home is fully decked out with a balinese square 8 seater dining table, all of the kitchen equipment you could think of and a BBQ on the back deck. You can soak up the morning sun on the front balcony, afternoon sun on the back balcony, enjoy a meal, and some relaxed people watching as the day unfolds! We also have a swimming pool and visitor/tenant parking. Oxford Street is one property away, so you can take advantage of the brilliant cafes, dirt cheap cinema, pub, bars, boutique shops etc. The Woolworths Supermarket and some bottle shops are within 2 blocks, so you wouldn't even need to leave the suburb if you didn't want to! And, we have a golf course down the road, many parks for the kids to choose from, river walks, a local library and many other things to keep you busy, all within a few minutes walk! Unlimited Wifi internet is available to help you get on with planning holidays, getting any work done, or keeping in touch with family and friends. All amenities. Nothing is off limits. Bins are shared with the other apartments. They are at the back of the complex, on the right hand side, and rubbish can be deposited in any of the shared bins. As much or as little as the guest prefers! It is hard not to love Bulimba. Being there is like a permanent holiday! Given the apartment is not even a stones throw from the main street, everything is at your finger tips. It is like a little country village. There is never a dull moment, and you don't need a car! TRANSPORT OPTIONS Public transport options include a bus within 100m from the home and a city cat (ferry) within an 8min stroll from the home. We will provide a Go Card (plastic travel card) for you to top up at your leisure to ensure you get the cheaper rates :-) There is always a taxi available 100m away at the local pub to get you to the airport which is about 13min away. Taxi is the most convenient method from the airport as it is all of 15mins down the road. Given all the tolls relating to the airport, it tends to cost around $55-$65 (depends on time of day). If I'm available or a member of my team is, we can pick you up for $40 one way. If you chose to hire a car there is a lock up garage available for use. Guest AccessAll amenities. The SpaceThe apartment is recently re-fitted and is very modern clean and tidy. It has everything for longer term stays if you have relatives visiting from overseas or are re-locating to Brisbane, short stays are also very welcome. The space comfortably fits 4 people, an additional mattress or foldout bed will fit in bedroom 1 for an additional person or to allow a small child to sleep with mum & dad. If more privacy is required for an adult or older child the additional bed can be put up in the utility room which is adjacent to the 2nd bathroom. A portacot, high chair, stroller and baby bath are available for anyone who has a small child. Bedroom 1 is large and has a double bed a conventional en-suite, a TV with DVD player, reverse cycle air conditioner, wardrobe and a desk. Bedroom 2 has a double bed, TV , wardrobe and a desk. The main living area opens out onto the deck and beautiful and cool in summer, it includes a small kitchenette with a microwave and induction cook top. A plug in oven is also provided, together with a toaster kettle etc. The deck is very large and includes a gas bbq, it has a great leafy outlook onto the back garden. The apartment is on the lower floor of our main home and is very quiet and secluded. There is a laundry in the unit with an iron and ironing board. Free wifi internet is available. Guest AccessThe apartment has it's own access down the side of the house directly into the guest accommodation. Street parking is plentiful as it's a quiet residential street. Interaction with GuestsThe extent of interaction is up to the guests. Happy to have a drink to say hello and explain everything about the house and area. The guest area is separate to our main home, so privacy can be assured. We are happy to answer any questions you have at any time during your stay, just come up and say hi. The NeighborhoodMorningside is a nice safe residential area and has it's own shopping strip with a restaurants and fast food outlets, (some very good Indian restaurants) this is within easy walking distance. There is also a pub and a couple of bars. Bulimba is close by and is a lively area famous for it's multitude of bars and restaurants. Bulimba is a 15 to 20 minute walk or a few minutes in a car. Getting AroundGetting to the city is easy. There is a bus stop close by and it takes about 20- 25 minutes. There is also a train station approximately 12 minutes walk away. If you prefer a more scenic way to travel to the CBD, Hawthorne ferry terminal is only 5 minutes drive away, the ferries are very regular and it's a fantastic way to commute, I recommend all visitors take a ride on the ferry even if it's only to see the city. Morningside also has very easy access to the freeway system and is only about 15 minutes from the airport. Parking is available on the street. Other Things to NoteWe do have a small border collie cross who is very friendly. We can keep her inside if you are worried by dogs. Happy to consider your pet if you have one.

The SpaceYou will have a sunny room with double bed and built-in mirrored wardrobe, with all linen, pillows, blankets, towels supplied. Share bathroom with separate toilet. The unit has a nice living area, balcony, dining table and fully equipped kitchen and laundry for you to use. Happy to provide the basics like tea, coffee, milk, sugar and laundry detergent. There is free wifi but it isn't unlimited (although we've never gone over the limit) so please just check with me before watching or downloading hours and hours of stuff online. Free street parking available. Feel free to contact me with any questions. Guest AccessI try and be flexible with check in and check out times, but midweek arrivals generally need to be after 4pm so I can be home from work, or if you have an early morning arrival 7-8am is also often ok. Check out time is 12pm, or later by negotiation. Interaction with GuestsI work full time but am very happy to have a chat in the evenings and share the lounge room and TV, and it is also totally ok if you want to keep to yourself. I enjoy hosting and have had guests who are young travellers, business people, tradies, students and people relocating to or from Brisbane. The NeighborhoodAscot is a great suburb, close enough to the city to easily commute to work or meetings or to sightsee and visit all the attractions. But with everything nearby you don't need to leave if you don't want to! Whether you are in town on business, to attend a course, or to relax and sightsee, this is a fantastic location to base yourself. Just 300m away you will find Racecourse Rd with numerous cafes, deli's, restaurants, bakeries, bars, a hotel, two supermarkets and great ice cream, so you can eat out or shop and eat at 'home'. You will also find banks, a post office, chemists, beauty therapists, hairdressers, boutiques, gifts and home wares... in other words, everything you could possibly need! Enjoy a short 15min walk along the river to Portside Wharf shopping and dining precinct, with more cafes, restaurants and a Dendy cinema. Each Sunday morning there is a farmer's market just a block away, great for shopping or for brunch. On Friday and Saturday nights there are the Eat Street Food markets next to Portside. If you are energetic there are 3 gyms within walking distance - Jetts at Portside, Anytime Fitness at Harbourside and Vision Personal Training on Racecourse Rd. Or you can go for a run along the river, or up Hamilton Hill if you want to push yourself and discover some great views. Convenient to Eagle Farm and Doomben racecourse. Getting AroundRegular bus, train and citycat close by, with services to Brisbane CBD, Toombul, Eagle Farm. Closest bus is Racecourse Road by Beatrice Terrace (stop 22), or Lancaster Road by Napier St. The closest train is Ascot station. City cat is Brett's Wharf. Search for the Translink Journey Planner to plan your trips, check timetables and fares. I have a GoCard you can use during your stay to make trips cheaper.
