Modern townhouse very close to beach I live in a modern 3 bedroom townhouse in the beautiful bayside Melbourne suburb of Hampton. There are 3 bedrooms in total, of which 2 are for rent. These lovely big double rooms share their own bathroom. One of the rooms has double doors that look out onto a bright sunny courtyard. There is also a communal laundry. Upstairs is my bedroom and a modern open plan kitchen living area which open onto a large balcony with bay views. You will have full use of the kitchen. The house comes with free Wifi and Foxtel TV. There is also use of 2 retro style bikes. The town house is literally one minute away from all amenities. Shops, restaurants, cafes, banks, post office and supermarket are all right on your doorstep. It is a 5 minute walk to Hampton train station and bus stops that take you all over Melbourne. It is a 20 minute train ride to the Melbourne city centre. The beach is a 5 minute walk away where there is also a fantastic bike path that goes right around the bay. I am a very keen traveler myself and love meeting people from all over the world. I am happy to have a meal together or a chat at any time, but also respect your privacy if that is what you prefer. I can give you lots of tips of places to go, whether its great restaurants, cafes, pubs, shops, bike paths, bushwalking or wineries or whatever. I am there to help you as much as you like.

It is close to transport, a fifteen minute walk to Moorabbin station which is 35 minutes to the city and close to Brighton Beach featuring Melbourne's iconic bathing boxes. The popular tourist and entertainment precinct of St Kilda is fifteen minutes away by car and the city is thirty minutes away by train. I also provide bikes for your personal use. The room has a bed, dressing table, side table, clothes hanger, desk ,lamps, internet access and the option of a computer. Please note that a second guest is $10 per day extra Help yourself breakfasts are always included! The SpaceFor you, a private double bedroom awaits in a light-drenched four-bedroom house near the beach and close to Brighton Beach train station 22 minutes to the CBD. The prices quoted are for one person per room. The weekly rate for one person is $420, which is $60 a night. For an extra person in the room, it will be $95 a night per couple per room. The weekly rate for a couple would be $580 per room. Your hosts are a musician, a journalist and a highly opinionated and very funny and energetic 11-year-old cool dude who loves meeting people from around the world as much as he loves travelling. You have a choice of bedroom - upstairs or downstairs - and use of all other facilities including the kitchen/living/indoor/outdoor space that includes a large vegetable garden, a large bathroom with spa bath, lush dining area, and of course our delightful company if you so desire. There are three living areas, two downstairs and one upstairs, so you can have as much privacy as you want. You are welcome to do your own shopping for food and to cook, or you can chip in for food that we cook. We are walking distance to the beach, the famous colourful Brighton bathing boxes, cool cafes, shopping, and the bus stop and railway station. Brighton is leafy, elegant and peaceful. The train runs regularly from Brighton Beach station - which has a view of the water of course! - and buses to St Kilda and elsewhere run from a bus stop on New Street, which is about four minutes away on foot. Other Things to NoteThere are cool cafes in the area, and really cool coffee in our home too.

The SpaceOur simple 5 bedroom house is in a quiet leafy street in a popular bayside neighbourhood. Four doors away is a large park which features Australian native parrots. Restaurants, coffee shops and cinemas are close by in Church Street, Bay st and Hampton Street and Brighton Beach with the iconic beach bathing boxes is five kilometres away. I have three bicycles and in thirty minutes you can reach the touristic suburb of St.Kilda by taking the beachside bike path and then still along the beach could ride on to the city in another thirty minutes.The city district of Melbourne is thirty minutes away by public transport or car. This bedroom is the double bedroom which can have a double bed or two single beds in it ( regardless it is an extra $10 per night for the other person) and the other two Airbnb rooms are a double room and a single room and are on this site and can be booked separately from their sites. All of the rooms have places to hang clothes and desks with optional computer and with wireless internet access. There is a large open plan lounge-room/ dining room /kitchen overlooking a backyard with huge trees. Two small Jack Russell/Maltese cross female dogs share the back porch. I am a teacher / artist and my 24 year old son Andre is studying computer animation. We are used to international guests and are happy to take them around by car to acquaint them with Melbourne and immediate surrounds. A help yourself breakfast is included and (If you have not already negotiated a discounted price, special offer,) this room includes free evening meals after one months stay. The SpaceOur space offers you the privacy you'd like but at only a stone's throw from the house and an attentive host! We like to host because we enjoy meeting people and being able to help them get the most out of their stay, but we will always respect your privacy. The space is really intended for two people only (the bed can be a King or Twin) but a child could sleep on the sofa if you wanted, or you can provide your own cot for babies. Guest AccessGuests may use the washing machine, iron etc and may use the kitchen to reheat food, use plates for take-away food and so on. Breakfast will be laid out for you to help yourselves to if we are out, otherwise we are happy to look after you. Re cooking facilities, please refer to the House Rules. Interaction with GuestsWe will interact as much or as little as you would like, we will take our cue from you. If I'm having a glass of wine or a cup of tea you will always be offered one too, but there is no obligation to drink it with me :-) We will always be present during your stay; if not all the time, at least most of the time. We have three older children (23,20 &17)who will also be around during some of your visit. The NeighborhoodOur neighbourhood is very much a family place. Our street is full of quite big houses with lots of trees and flowers and it is very quiet usually. We are only a few minutes walk from the beach; we visit most days with our dogs and guests are always welcome on our walks, so long as they are good at throwing balls! The SpacePositioning, close to all amenities, very restful ambience with garden on all sides. it is a quiet household. I am on a block of 3 villa Units, mine is at the rear so can park outside. Neighbours are good with no disturbances. would need to consider them if coming up the driveway at night past their units. Guest Accessjust about carte blanche, there are some out door areas for sitting, both back and front of property. Everything is on one level. Interaction with GuestsAs much as they want to, I welcome people as though they are part of my extended family. The NeighborhoodEveryone says it is a very quiet safe neighbourhood, with friendly people. Many new homes being built in the area so neighbourhood is ever changing. Getting AroundYes, bus at entrance to property connects with city bound trains. also a bus to large shopping complex at Southland. Other Things to NoteClose to a range of boutique shops beauty therapists, a good range of quality eating places. an interesting area voted in top 10 as most liveable suburb in Melbourne.

The SpaceOur home is full of natural light and very modern. It is far from the street facing a park and this gives a very natural feeling. The appliances and furnitures are very high quality and brand new. The house is brand new. It's the perfect home for a family with 2 kids! You have access to the Master bedroom & Ensuite (with a king bed) and the second bedroom (either 2 toddler beds or 1 single bed & 1 toddler bed) and bathroom. There is the main open plan and a play room / gym space. Our neighbourhood is very quite. We are in a beautiful area. It is calm and close to Beach while being close to the CBD. It is a fantastic suburb. The train stations are walking distance and our car is available if you wish to rent it. 10 to 15 min walk to the closest train station. The SpaceWelcome to beautiful Brighton! This is a small but bright sunny room with lots of windows, and plenty of air and light. It has the best feng shui in the house. The house is in a beautiful leafy suburb by a huge park. It is just a ten minute journey to beautiful brighton beach by car. See the quaint and classic Brighton Boxes! There is an option of a computer for use (with wireless internet connection) on a large desk with a lamp and a comfortable club chair. It has a comfortable single bed, a chest of drawers, a side table with a lamp and a clothes hanging cupboard. Help yourself! In this house breakfasts are always included, after all it's the most important meal of the day!! For transport nearby, make use of the 811 or 812 bus to and from Moorabbin Station. I also provide bikes for your personal use.The station is a fifteen minute walk away. I am extensively traveled ,an Art and English teacher and paint portraits, read fiction and non-fiction and watch arthouse movies. While Australian travellers are always very welcome I am also accustomed to hosting people from other countries and consider it as my way of contributing to understanding between peoples of the world. The SpaceOur home is light, bright, relaxed, clean and comfortable. We think it has a very homely feel combined with up-to-date features. It's a wonderful space for two or four people. Gas ducted heating throughout and an air conditioner. Both bedrooms have Queen size beds, wardrobe with hangers, bedside lamps and tables. The master bedroom has an en-suite with shower, hand basin and toilet. The large main bathroom features a full size bath, hand basin, toilet and separate shower. The lounge room / living area has a large LCD television with DVD player and surround sound. We have two extremely comfortable fabric 'Lazboy' recliner chairs with a matching 3 seater sofa. Windows have plantation shutters and external sun blinds. Meals area has large table and chairs (seats six) and small wall mounted LCD television. Kitchen is fully equipped with big bench top, double sink, full-size electric oven, gas hot-plate, dishwasher and large fridge with freezer. European laundry with front loader washing machine and trough. We supply Eco friendly laundry liquid, pre-wash and wool wash. Pegs for the outdoor clothesline are also available as well as an indoor clothes horse / airier for use during inclement weather. Private outdoor back covered deck, accessed from the meals area, has a gas BBQ, table and chairs. Alongside is a small (synthetic) grass area, as well as a clothesline (pegs provided). The garden is green and includes fresh herbs which you're welcome to use. Guest AccessAccess to house, rear private deck, small back and front yards. Off road parking also available. The world famous Brighton Bathing boxes & Middle Brighton sea baths are a short 15 min drive away. Vibrant St Kilda with Acland & Fitzroy Streets a further 5 mins from Brighton. Getting Around3-4 min walk to bus stops, train station 15-20 mins walk. Direct train to Melbourne CBD takes only 23 minutes. We have off-street parking for a car. The SpaceAvailable: June- September 2016. A fabulous, freshly renovated house in a lovely, friendly street in Hampton, just one block back from the beach. This family home is a close walk to everything; the railway station, shops, restaurants and the beach. Comprises a wide entry hall with four bedrooms at the front, leading down to functional, new, open plan family living. The house has four bedrooms, one master and three smaller bedrooms. An Olympic sized bouncy trampoline is built in to the back yard. The backyard is a haven for kids with climbing equipment, ropes and a tree to climb. Kitchen and bathroom are freshly renovated. Ducted heating and an inviting Jetmaster fire place, both promise to keep you cosy and warm over winter; while an outdoor shower is perfect for washing off after a trip to the nearby beach. There is a bathroom with a toilet and shower, and another separate toilet. With a Jetmaster fireplace for lovely winter warmth, and an outdoor shower to rinse off after summer beach visits. The house does back on to the railway line, but most of the windows are double glazed. Games and toys suitable for children. Free wifi. Minimum stay is 14 nights. Discounts for stays 30 days or more. It is definitely not available for less than 7 nights. Available from 5 July 2016 onwards. Children are very welcome. Please note that this is a fully set up home. It is where we live, unless we are away. It has many of the things that you would normally have at home that often are not found in short term rentals. The house is generally available over winter as we go away, and then also sometimes over December/January. The house is geared towards families, and most of our visitors so far have been families moving to Melbourne who would rather stay in a house than an apartment or hotel, while they wait for their belongings to arrive and get themselves sorted with longer term accommodation. Well behaved dogs are welcome. Especially those who do not sleep on furniture. THE HOUSE IS AVAILABLE FOR WINTER 2016. ABOUT HAMPTON The beach-side suburb Hampton is located 15 kilometres south of Melbourne on Port Phillip, between Brighton and Sandringham. The strip of shops along the thoroughfare of Hampton Street is one of Hampton's major attractions. Stretching from South Road in the north to over one kilometre south at Crisp Street, this retail shopping precinct features restaurants, bistros, clothing stores, antiques shops and personal services. Smaller local shopping strips can be found along Bluff Road. Hampton offers visitors safe swimming along a wide stretch of sandy beach which features several groynes extending into the sea.
