Large attractions in the Marlborough area are the Omaka Aviation Heritage Centre, under the direction of Peter Jackson, the director of “Lord of the Rings" (it is a captivating collection of original and copies of original planes from the First World War, with realistic and lifelike scenes from the dogfights) and Pelorus Bridge, where Peter Jackson filmed some of the scenes used in “Lord of the Rings". Both attracations are just thirty minutes away from the Kiwiss B&B. One thing is for sure. You will never be at a loss for something to do in the Marlborough region.
