The Cottage at Stillwaters Farm, a farm stay in Henderson, TN, specializes in providing our guests with a place to rest, rejuvenate, contemplate, and be inspired! The 2 bedroom, 1 bath, 1000-square foot facility is a comfortable choice for a little downtime from the pressures of life. Decorated in "turn of the century farm-eclectic" furnishings, The Cottage brings a certain nostalgia and familiarity to our guests' stay--like visiting a relative in the country! We strive to make each guest's stay exactly what they envisioned.
Our rolling 150+ acres provide ample roaming room--take a hike, hide in nature, explore, or watch the wildlife! As a nature preserve, you will not find any hunting on our premises—unless it's with a camera. As a result, our pristine acreage of hayfields, wooded areas, and paths connecting the two, boasts plentiful deer, turkey, birds of all kinds, an occasional red fox, and coyote. Our guests are encouraged to bring their cameras along for photo opportunities that happen each and every day. Looking for something a little more..."hands on"?
Our farm also provides our guests the opportunity to "play farmer". We invite our guests to take a tour, get to know our residents, and jump right in to our daily activities, if they are so inclined. Our focus is to provide our guests with opportunities to rest as well as learn about and explore--hands on--the agricultural side of life in the peaceful atmosphere of Stillwaters Farm--right here in the heart of West Tennessee! It's all up to YOU!
Looking for a little shopping while you're here? Our Silo farm store provides guests the opportunity to shop artisan products that are handcafted right on the farm--a wide variety of soaps, bath & body, lip balms, soy candles, photography, and art.
We'd love to see you... "out on the farm"!

While a mere two miles outside the city limits, The Cottage lends itself to a bygone era—a time when life was slow and simple. In short, The Cottage allows our guests the opportunity to rest, relax, and participate in activities that they would otherwise never experience. At the farm, surrounded by hundreds of acres of agriculture and virgin woodland, our guests can learn about gardening, livestock, animal husbandry, crop harvesting, or any number of activities going on at the farm during their stay.
Horns and sirens, traffic and commerce are a rarity around here. Instead, guests will be bathed in the comfort sounds of the country—a donkey's bray, a dog's bark, a horse's whinny, and, on occasion, our Suffolk sheep's graceful, signature-baritone baa.
Butterfly gardens, in full bloom much of the year, are just off the outdoor lounging area, so guests can expect a visit from the local hummingbirds (in season), graceful butterflies, and bumbling bees on the hunt for a load of pollen. Songbirds, deer, and turkey inhabit the woods and meadows all around. A good book and a cup of hot tea will round out a most enjoyable farm experience.
Come, enjoy the peace of the country!
