There are three-four upstairs bedrooms for guests- we can carry your luggage, if around. Bedroom One has 1 queen bed and a twin, Bedroom Two has a three-quarter bed, and Bedroom three has 1 double bed.
You may enjoy the eat-in kitchen, den, living room, dining room, pool table on lowest level - walk-out to patio for picnic table and front porch.
With early request we provide breakfast materials!
Coffee & tea is always available.

Want real details? The entire house has hardwood floors, plus the first level has random-width floors. Every room has crown moulding and chair railing, which gives an 80's home the feel of an historic establishment.
All organic linens are provided.
The property is over an acre bordered by a creek, woods, and large old trees. From March through September you will find blooming flowers and shrubs. All season you can enjoy the old and stately English boxwoods.
Your vacation home is twenty to thirty minutes from downtown, depending on small city rush hour, twenty minutes to VA Historical Museum and the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts. You can enjoy biking, running and walking along the James River or in our neighborhood. Try the new Virginia Capital bike trail to Williamsburg.

You can help yourself to assorted condiments refrigerator. Just use anything you need.
The house has fast Wifi, cable and a dvd player.
Purchase of groceries or bakery items can sometimes be prior-arranged.
The back yard has a summer hammock, picnic table and brick patio. Enjoy the rockers on the front porch. Park in the driveway, unless otherwise requested. Bikes and outdoor toys of various sizes and conditions and crochet are in the garage.

I can supply maps, brochures and good advice as to what to do with your day and evening. You are very close to University of Richmond which has great music and entertainment. Upon request I can give you a fine tour of Richmond. Enjoy the fan, Carytown, Belle Island or the James River. Try rafting or kayaking with one of the river outfitters or go to Scottsdale for tubing! Richmond is 1.5 hours to Washington, D.C., to the Appalachians or to the Atlantic Ocean! The NeighborhoodThe tree-lined, wide street has easy parking and is very safe. Neighbors leave porch lights on for night walking. The home is on 1.3 acres with wooded area in back and lots of grass and peace. Ask for badminton, croquet or bikes. Getting AroundYou need your own car, as public transportation (bus) is 3 miles away at Regency Square shopping. There' shopping 1 mile in two directions and 2 miles in another. 4 miles to Short Pump shopping, 6 miles to URichmond events.
Over 200 miles of James River hiking trails are within easy drive. Check out the James River Hikers Meetup. In season kayaking and rafting are available on the River. Kings Dominion Park is about 30 minutes and Busch Gardens Park is in Williamsburg, an hour away (Entertainment Parks).
If you really want a bus downtown, you can catch one at Regency Square Mall near Sears entrance, 2 miles away, all the way to the Capitol. Amtrak is 15 minutes from my home on Staples Mill Road.Sometimes it's possible for me to meet the train or you can lease a car with Enterprise and they'll pick you up at the station! Other Things to NoteIn the summertime you can enjoy rocking on the front porch or sitting on the brick back patio. There is a picnic table.
Hopefully, if you ask, you will receive all you need, when I am in town or away.
You missed in your life that you start days off on a happy note, that serving others is a key to happiness, that giving good vibe and feelings brings pjoy. On your departure please put your bed linens, bath and kitchen linens in pillowcases. Just leave them in the front hall. Leave the back porch, front porch, back hall, and stove lights on. Be sure to replace the key in the lock box.
By the way, There are trash cans beside the driveway. You'll find extra bags in the bottom of the kitchen island. You'll find storage in the kitchen cabinet beside the refrigerator. Extra toilet paper, games, are in the back hall closet by the den. Call to locate anything else you need and thank you.
By the way, in case of an emergency you might want vacation insurance.
