The top facilities for use include a range cooker and separate electric cooker, American-style fridge and a handy dishwasher. The lovely back garden can be accessed through patio doors, and offers an 8-seater al–fresco dining arrangement and a neat lawn where kids can play football and other games. On the first floor there are two bedrooms and a shower room; at the rear is a child’s bedroom with a single bed and a study desk. The lovely bay-windowed master bedroom faces the street and offers a grand Emperor-sized bed as well as a flat-screen TV. Its spacious en-suite bathroom is beautifully designed with a walk-in shower as well as a sunken bathtub. Another flight of stairs takes you up to a child’s single bedroom. On the second floor there are is a bathroom fitted with a bath, and a final two bedrooms which both have single beds (one of which is a trundle which can become a double bed). You are just 5 minutes from the High Road and neighbouring bustling streets of restaurants, cafĂŠs, supermarkets and shops. Head towards Bedford Hill for more stylish eateries such as the authentic pizzeria Franco Manca and the quirky coffee shop/homewares boutique, Lavish Habit. What to know about the flat: This property is a raised ground floor apartment. The apartment is in a quiet residential area, therefore the noise levels are low. Cleanliness: We expect the apartments to be left in a reasonable state of cleanliness and order on departure. Out of respect for following guests, beds are not to be slept in without linen. We provide adequate bed linen for all our booking guests. An additional charge will be made for extra cleaning or specialist cleaning to return the apartment to a fit state for occupation. Additional charges may include compensation for loss of revenue in addition to cleaning and repairs. Maintenance the apartments Please do not to flush anything other than toilet paper down the toilets. Please do not to pour fat/oil or large amounts of food waste down drains. No shoes or ski boots are to be worn on any furnitures in the apartments. ABOUT THE LOCATION Islington has a varied mix of architectural styles. Some of its most historic include flat-fronted Georgian and early Victorian terraces – Colebrook Row is one of the most picturesque Georgian rows and consequently one of the most sought after addresses in London. The area suffered badly from the Blitz when bombs destroyed many properties. Gaps were filled with classic 1950s-60s flats. The area also has some great examples of contemporary buildings such as the Kings Place waterside development. Attractions Gillette Square - approximately 10 minutes away On the western flank of Gillett Square in Dalston, East London, stands The Dalston Culture House which houses the world famous Vortex Jazz Club on its first floor and has the restaurant/cafe bar Downstairs@TheVortex on its ground floor which opens directly onto Gillett Square and has an outdoor seating area. The square itself regularly hosts special events like Dance Nation Dalston which brings a carnival atmosphere to this part of East London every summer with live music and dance displays and workshops. Play Days in the square during the summer offer outdoor fun and games for all ages including table tennis, Gillett Square's own weird and wonderful 'Snug' play shapes for kids and giant chess. Servant Jazz Quarters Despite the name, Servant Jazz Quarters is not strictly a jazz club. Instead you'll find music from many genres at this Dalston music venue which supports innovative artists from all backgrounds, and particularly those from the Hackney area. The name comes from its early days when, before it officially opened its doors in February 2011, they could hear the saxophonist from The Vortex Jazz Club upstairs. The music varies from night to night so you will need to check the website for updates on gigs and events. As a general guide, you can expect an eclectic mix of music ranging from jazz, blues and folk to pop, world music and beyond. On the ground level there is a well-provisioned art deco bar serving a range of cocktails, specialty beers and ales, while the live performances take place in the intimate basement space. The Little Angel Theatre – approximately 20 minutes away This innovative children's theatre provides a showcase for the art of puppetry. Founded by master puppeteer John Wilkes in the early 1960s, this small, unusual theatre continues to produce critically acclaimed work that enchants audiences of all ages. The Little Angel Theatre also organise a Saturday Puppet Club and family fun days where the kids get to play with the puppet starlets and craft their own little dramas. Where to eat That Place on the Corner – Approximately 3 minutes away That place on the corner A children's cafe with dressing up cupboard, That Place on the Corner in Newington Green was set up by two mums who know what parents and kids are looking for in a cafe. That means a really good kids menu made with organic food, books for them to read and a play area. They do a story in the afternoon as well, art club, music and movement. Oh and unaccompanied adults are not allowed. The Alma (Gastro Pub) – approximately 3 minutes away The Alma Movie themed pub in Islington offering Popcorn, Craft Beer (Bottled and Draft), fine wine, a very long list of Bourbon whiskeys, Thai Grill, Pop up Sunday Roast Chefs, quiz nights, live acoustic nights, live Irish music, movie nights and Vinyl DJ nights. Quirky, fun, candle low lighting and beautiful people all around. Shanghai – Approximately 11 minutes away The Shanghai Shanghai occupies the listed premises of a former East End pie and mash shop built when Queen Victoria was on the throne and the atmospheric old shop-front is still there, perfectly preserved. The menu features a combination of classic Chinese favourites complemented by Western-influenced versions of Eastern dishes. The absolute must-haves are the pork-filled fried dumpling starter, served with red vinegar and ginger strips, and main course of baked fresh lobster with ginger and spring onions. There are marble prep areas, long bar, original floor, oak booths to seat twenty, tiled walls and eel-motif mirrors. However, the rear of the restaurant is a newly-built modern Chinese eatery with oriental imagery filled with warm light from the stained glass ceiling windows.             The SpaceWelcome to my one bedroom flat with patio garden. It's located in Highbury, Islington in this vibrant area of North London. We are a 20 minute walk to Highbury and Islington tube station (puts you on the Victoria Line) and a 10 minute walk from Canonbury Station (the Overland Train system). You're only 5 minutes from the buses, (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) and 73 which can zip you around London. The apartment sleeps two - it's a one bedroom apartment with patio garden and private entrance, and is located in the vibrant area of North London. There is a mini-supermarket, post office and a few good bakeries and delis within a 5 minute walk. Car hire is not essential as there are many good transportation links in central London (you'll have access to the tube, overground, and buses). Any children can sleep in living room - my place works for 2 adults and one child...of course babies welcome and a cot is available. Towels and linen are supplied.

The NeighborhoodMy neighbourhood is very relaxed and quiet but yet only minutes away from the hustle and bustle of London that I also love so dearly. It's also a friendly, safe and lovely looking area to stay in. Getting AroundThere's a bus stop outside the building that will take you to Highbury & Islington tube station (or Holloway Road station for the Piccadilly line) in one direction; Church Street in Stoke Newington (trendy boutique stores, cafes, restaurants and Clissold Park) in the other direction. There are also numerous buses that stop at Highbury Barn (a five-minute walk away). These routes will take you to Central London in less than half an hour or Upper Street (great for restaurants, cafes, shopping, bars etc) in 10 minutes. You can walk to Arsenal tube station (Piccadilly line) in 15 minutes or to Canonbury overland station in 10 minutes.

            The SpaceYou will have your own part of the house with this lovely room and bathroom in a private mews. It is a double bedroom which has just been renovated and the bathroom comes with a bathtub with shower facilities and toilets. You have free access to wifi. You are 30 secs away from bus stop 19/4/236. Bus 236 will take you in 5 mins to Canonbury Station where you will find trains to go to the Olympic site. Bus 19 crosses London from Highbury to Battersea going through Piccadilly, Harrods, Sloane Sq, Kings road and bus 4 takes you to the City (St Paul's) and Waterloo. The house is also within 5 minute walk to Arsenal tube Station (Piccadilly line taking you to all the main touristic places in London, in 10 minutes to Covent Garden for example). For football fans the stadium is reacheable within 8 mins. The house is surrounded by parks, shops and lovely restaurants (Italian, Argentinian, Mexican...) You are only a few steps away from the vibrant Upper Street, 1.5 miles of bars and restaurants. If you don't feel like taking the bus, there is a mini cab office just opposite the entrance. You will have access to the living-room and garden only when I am here. No access to the kitchen but food or drinks can be left in the fridge if needed.

            The SpaceThe flat is located within the former home of Arsenal FC - Highbury Stadium which was built in the 1930's. It's a very historic place! It's a two bedroom apartment. You'll be staying in a good sized double room which has it's own en-suite bathroom and and access to large balcony with views over the stadium. Queen size double bed with double duvet, and option for an inflatable mattress if needed. Just to avoid confusion, the listing is for a room and a bathroom only. You're welcome to use the kitchen for making a cup of tea, for small things and the fridge, but it's not the whole flat that's being rented out.               The Space1 bedroom flat in the desirable location of Highbury and Islington. spacious, light bedroom with mattress (there is no bed at the moment, however the mattress is just as comfortable) and living room, a nice sized bathroom and kitchen, the flat gets a lot of light during the day, so most of the time you don't need to turn on the lights. Can accommodate 2, however there is a sofa bed in the living room if needed. Wifi is provided. The flat is located on a quiet residential road, meaning you get a wonderful nights sleep !, Green Lanes, a main road is a quick 5 minutes walk away, where you can catch a 341 to the city centre easily. The brilliant Church street is also around a 5-10 minute walk, it has many fantastic restaurants,bakeries and shops, i recommend taking a walk down. The Flat is in the perfect location to explore London. The flat is a short bus ride away to Islington's Upper street and Angel, which is buzzing with life day or night, and perfect for going out to eat as it has a fantastic gastronomic scene. The flat has many attractive features, the kitchen is almost entirely constructed of reclaimed wood and second hand furniture, together with handmade touches. this gives a lovely rustic effect. The wooden flooring in the flat is entirely made of reclaimed wood. (looking for weekend stays mainly, at the moment)

              The SpaceOur stylish little flat is in a small modern development looking out over gorgeous and quiet gardens. The combined living area includes a fantastic modern kitchen with great equipment and everything you could need to cook and dine. There is a comfy sofa and plenty of space to relax in plus a dining table to seat up to six people. The bedroom is flooded with natural light and black out blinds for when you need to sleep in. The modern bathroom is straight out of a luxury hotel including a powerful shower and bath. The hallway and cupboard provides plenty of storage space for your stay. Whilst our belongings will still be in the flat everything will be neatly tidied away so nothing will get in your way. There will be crisp fresh linen on the bed and fluffy towels. The flat is perfect for a solo traveller or couple visiting London. If we are away, we have many friends close by who can always be on hand for any queries. Guest AccessThe keys for the flat will either be with the concierge and security in the main building of the development or a friend will let you in. This means we can accommodate you arriving at any time of day and all you need to do when you leave us drop the keys off with the security team when you go. Whilst you'll find our belongings still in the flat we will make sure there is some storage space. We just want you to make yourself at home and enjoy your stay. On your doorstep you'll find one of the most popular brunch and tapas spots in the area: Highbury Arts Cafe. Plus an amazing off licence. Beautiful Clissold Park is ten minutes walk away and Stoke Newington Church Street (with tons of cool boutiques, coffee shops and vintage stores) is a bit further on. Closer to the flat you'll find Highbury Barn with a number of restaurants and shops plus an amazing cheese shop, butcher and fishmonger (and a pub). Head south and you have mega trendy Upper Street (where you'll find Ottolengi and The Almeida Theatre plus tens of restaurants and bars). Highbury Fields is also just a short walk and popular in the summer. Getting AroundAnd if you are heading in for a day of sightseeing it's a pretty 15 minute walk (through Highbury fields) to Highbury and Islington tube station (Victoria Line). Arsenal (Piccadilly line) is eight minutes away, and just five minutes further you are at Finsbury Park station (Victoria and Piccadilly). Canonbury Station for the overground is 15 minutes walk. Plus you can get the numbers 19 and 4 buses into either the city or the centre of London. So essentially this is a great location to access the very centre of London plus surrounding areas. If you are coming in from Heathrow you can actually get the Piccadilly line tube all the way here is about an hour saving you the cost of the Heathrow Express. Other Things to NoteThis is a residential area and whilst everyone is very friendly, people do tend to shut the windows and keep noise to a minimum after ten pm.

Our decor is modern, minimalist, and bright. We are clutter free and very clean. There is a piano in the flat as well as a high end amplifier and speakers that will easily connect to your laptop, mp3 player or phone. It is very quiet here and we have blacked out the bedroom window so you will sleep like a baby. For light in the bedroom, simply open the door to the balcony. There is also a huge common garden the size of a football pitch which is wonderful for picnics or catching some rays. The NeighborhoodThis is a quiet but active neighborhood of tree-lined streets with stellar amenities, like a fantastic butcher fishmonger, and fruit and vegetable store. The open kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, dualit toaster and all modern appliances. The separate laundry contains a washing machine, a dryer and microwave. The kitchen looks out to the open plan living room with exposed brick walls, TV, state of the art speakers and cool bench seating area. The kitchen opens onto a small balcony from which you can see the Shard and which gets the sun in the morning - great for that morning coffee. The living room opens onto a terrace which contains a BBQ and comfy seating and gets the afternoon sun. Great for lunch or dinner. The flat is well placed for access to Angel, Shoreditch, Dalston, London Fields and Brick Lane. The nearest stations are Canonbury (4 mins) or Highbury (12 mins) which both provide excellent transport connections. Additionally the flat is surrounded by the shops of Newington Green and the many great restaurants of Church Street are within walking distance. Just ask for some recommendations. Clissold Park is at the end of the road and Highbury Fields is just around the corner. The great transport links take you directly to Stratford shopping centre, London Fields and Hampstead Heath.
