The SpaceVernal Vibe Rise (VVR) is a small, perennially-focused, working farm. We are located adjacent to the Monongahela National Forest and nearby the wonderful Greenbrier River Trail. Come and enjoy VVR... along with the rabbits, pigs, chickens, ducks, turkeys, sheep, and geese! I am happy to welcome visitors who are interested in the operations of the farm, tours, and even skill-share and working vacations. Vernal Vibe Rise is also a convenient home-base if your have other plans in Lewisburg, Snowshoe Mountain, elsewhere in the Greenbrier Valley, or even the New River Gorge area. Guest AccessYour room is located on the northwest side of the house, and is well-appointed, with a comfortable Queen bed, high-quality linens, storage for clothing and other items, and expected (and unexpected) amenities. A carafe of well water and glasses will be at your bedside, and often local/organic snacks are available for guests. Use of the bathroom and light kitchen use are available to all guests. Note: there are few proper doors in the farmhouse (the shared bathroom DOES have a door), so if privacy is a concern for you, please let me know and I can hang a cloth door on the entrance to your room. Despite the lack of door, the layout of the house restricts visibility into your room, but I am happy to add another layer of privacy if my guests prefer! Interaction with GuestsThe farm keeps me very busy, but I always like to greet VVR guests upon arrival, and am available for more or less socializing, per each guest's preference. I am happy to offer a tour of the farm, and guests are welcome (though of course not required!) to help with farm chores. Please let me know in advance if you would like a tour of the farm. The NeighborhoodVVR is located approximately 20 miles from the small yet culturally competent historic town of Lewisburg, West Virginia, about 30 miles from historic Marlinton, West Virginia, and just over 50 miles from the popular ski, snowboard, and music destination Snowshoe Mountain Resort. The Greenbrier River and accompanying Trail offer hours or days of outdoor enjoyment and access is just short drive from the farm. VVR is accessed via an unpaved road, and is a relaxing and private location. Getting AroundVVR is very rurally-located, so guests will likely want to have their own transportation. I am happy to pick up guests at the airport, or arrange other transport, for an additional fee. Guests who wish to walk in the Monongahela National Forest can do so easily, as Vernal Vibe Rise borders a maintained National Forest trail. Other Things to NoteI can offer breakfast and other meals for an additional charge, and I am fluent in cooking for a variety of dietary needs. Just let me know at the time of booking and I can arrange for meals. All meals are prepared with a significant percentage of organic and local ingredients, especially VVR farm products and are available for a reasonable fee. Please contact me if you have any questions, and please check out the VVR website (search: Vernal Vibe Rise) for more information about the farm and farming practices. Thank you for your interest in Vernal Vibe Rise!
