Both bedrooms have walk in closets. The apartment has a full kitchen, dining area, large family room with large screen cable TV and WiFi, whole house water softener, working electric fireplace and a private laundry room. (AVAILABLE ONLY TO GUESTS WHO STAY TWO NIGHTS OR MORE)
Winter time, you put your car in an insulated, private garage that never goes below freezing. You'll never need to have ice on your windshield in the morning and your car will be out of the sub freezing temperatures over night.
The full sized kitchen has a microwave, full size oven, large fridge, convection toaster oven, dishwasher, coffee maker, new cutlery, garbage disposal, coffee and coffee maker for your use, filters, sweeteners, creamers, paper towels, salt, pepper, and quite a few condiments to start you off. (Note: No breakfast is served). Shop the grocery stores locally and save a lot of money on your ski trips.
All rooms have full sized, double pane windows and all fitted with semi-transparent (privacy) cellular shades.

Queen sized bed in master. Single and a bunk bed (total of three twins) in the second bedroom. Crib available for the younger children.
The dining area has a table that seats 4 comfortably with two additional settings on the kitchen counter.
The bathroom has new tile, new fixtures and is well lit. There are plenty of quality towels shampoo, bath soap and a hair dryer for your use.
The apartment provides views of Mount Olympus, the Alta peaks and the Oquirrh Mountains to the West in one of the most desirable east side bench areas.
The apartment is decorated simply with comfort and convenience in mind.
The living room has a large, comfortable sectional, pillows and cushions are down filled, facing the TV and new fireplace. The fireplace operates with a remote control and shuts off automatically when desired temperatures are reached.
The apartment has ample storage (see photo of multi-shelved, yellow storage room) for ski gear, mountain bikes and snowboards.
Public transit stops are 40 yards from the house.
Dozens of challenging, beautiful trails (walking and biking) await less than 5 miles from the house.
Since security is always a priority, the apartment has a private entrance with key pad access. Key pad entry codes are changed after every visitor.
In the interests of honesty and fair expectations, the apartment, though not a basement apartment, (it has full light windows in every room) has some of the same characteristics. There is a private access to enter and leave with 9 steps. Being a basement apartment, there will be some noise from the floor above you.
We have two dogs (Golden Retrievers). You may hear them bark occasionally and hear them walking about on the floor above your apartment.
I hope you will find that what makes this property unique is how much like home it will seem to be. Over the past year over 90% of the comments made by our guests have been implemented. This process, I believe, makes the property better and better with each guest.
We filled the unit with furniture and accessories visitors would use and we would readily place in the area we live in. Our goal was comfort and convenience. Hope you find we achieved this. Let us know how you think we can improve.
Folks are welcome to stay one night or many. However, one night stays are for parties of 2 or less using one bed. Families of more than two are welcome for a minimum stay of 2 nights or more.
For the skiers, trail bikers, snowshoers and snowboarders, your apartment is 3.5 miles (5 minutes) from the ski bus departure location which (come ski season) will take you to Brighton, Solitude, Snowbird and Alta. If you’re driving, the house is 6 miles to the entrance for Big Cottonwood Canyon (Solitude and Brighton), 9.2 miles to entrance of Little Cottonwood Canyon (Snowbird and Alta), 25 miles to Park City Ski Resort, 22 miles to Canyons Ski Resort, 27 miles to Deer Valley Ski Resort.
There is a bus stop 100 yards from the apartment that will take you to Trax, the main line mass transit system in Salt Lake City.
The SLC Airport is 16 miles away. Downtown Salt Lake is less than 10 miles. The apartment is a 10 minute walk from several good restaurants.

Guests will receive a brief discussion about the apartment, where things are located and answers to questions. There after, the host is available for assistance as needed by the traveler.
This property is located in a family neighborhood. Quiet and safe. Long walks at night, jogging and families just out for the evening.
Three blocks from small downtown area with restaurants (Italian, Chinese, Japanese, Mexican, Burgers, etc.) and grocery stores (Sprouts, Fresh Market, The Store, Dan's, etc) Great views of Olympus and the western ranges.
There is a bus stop about 40 yards form the property that will take you to the University and eventually, downtown. Convenient off street garage or driveway parking. We are 17 minutes from the airport via mostly interstates.
