This listing is for a small bedroom (appx 7'x10') in fully renovated three bedroom, 1.5 bathroom house available for rent in the Squirrel Hill/Greenfield area of Pittsburgh. Bedroom has a TV w/Roku (including nearly all major channels), Internet, XL Twin bed (80"x40"), and desk/work area. The bedroom is quite small, and can only comfortably hold one guest on a twin bed, although I have set it up with a queen air mattress previously and squeezed two guests. House has a brand new kitchen, hardwood floors, bathrooms. Safe, walkable neighborhood with free on street parking.
House is fully renovated with beautiful new open concept kitchen, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances. Grill is available for guest use. Great front porch. Air conditioning is available in all living areas and bedroom. Wireless internet, TV, and Roku are provided. Private bedroom has TV and Roku. Guest AccessGuests will have access to the whole house aside from the other bedrooms. There is one full bathroom and one half bathroom, both of which are shared. Interaction with GuestsI may or may not be present during your stay, but if I'm around I enjoy talking, cooking, and hanging out. The Neighborhood******Area Description******
Squirrel Hill's Murray/Forbes business district, a 15 minute walk or a short bus ride or drive away, offers a huge variety of food, shopping, and entertainment options. Restaurant choices include great food of nearly any type. Some local favorites include Murray Avenue Grill (American), Everyday Noodles (Taiwanese), Ramen Bar (Japanese), Alladin's (Mediterranean), Mineo's (Pizza), Uncle Sam's (Subs/Hoagies), and Eat'n'Park (Diner). There are nearly 50 restaurants in the Murray/Forbes business district. It also offers a huge variety of local shops and merchants. Squirrel Hill is home to a large Jewish community, and has a Kosher grocery store and some Kosher restaurants, including the city's only Kosher Dunkin Donuts. In addition, Squirrel Hill is home to the Manor Theater, which is a first-run movie theater.
The nearby Waterfront, a 5 minute drive or bus ride away on the 61C, 61D, or 64, is home to a multitude of chain restaurants and big box stores. Stores include Target, Costco, Best Buy, Lowes Home Improvement, Macy's, and many more. Restaurants include Rock Bottom Brewery, Mitchell's Seafood, Red Robin, Eat'n'Park, UNO's, among others.
