    The Space**Currently the building is going through restorations so there is noise throughout the workday from 8:30am-4:30pm. Sometimes theres is drilling going on for 2 hours a day. Residents live in the building so the workers are cautious of that. Maintenance is scheduled to end February 2017. I have a centrally located 2 bedroom Waikiki highrise overlooking the Ala Wai Canal and the Waikiki Harbor. Both rooms have a Queen size bed, plenty of closet and drawer space and blackout shades for you late risers or early crashers. My condo has a full kitchen with a washer and dryer for your use. Each bedroom has an attached bathroom with a shared shower. The bathrooms are newly remodeled. The shower is a new stone and pebble floor shower. The condo sits on one of the few streets in Waikiki that has plenty of street parking and also has its own dedicated parking space. It is located right next to bus routes that easily take you all over Oahu. Our bus system is the best in the country so I would recommend taking advantage of it to go to all the great beaches. You will be walking distance to Ala Moana Mall, two great beaches,surf breaks, local harbor pubs with live music, fine dining and a grocery store. The condo complex also has a heated pool and an area to BBQ. The condo has 2 sofas 1 has w/ a pull out queen bed, Wifi, cable, a 50 inch flat screen tv and a DVD player.     The SpaceOpen the door and the first thing you'll notice is the expansive horizon of the ocean through the huge window, the high table and comfortable chairs by the window's edge, the charming furniture, the leather love seat, flat-screen TV, wireless internet, and in the center of it all the queen bed with the ocean in view from your pillow. The inside of the unit is not fancy, but is clean and thoughtfully furnished to maximize your enjoyment of the space. Guests have access to FREE assigned parking stall, pool, hot tub, tennis court, laundry on 4th floor, ice machine on 3rd floor. No daily hotel services. Best location in Waikiki--a few minutes walk to Ala Moana Mall, 5 minute walk to Waikiki Beach and the best surf spots. Many bars, fine dining, and and local food, all in the neighborhood. Grocery store, convenience store, right downstairs and just around the corner. The bus stops right outside and will take you anywhere you want to go, including a direct bus from the airport. If you rent a car it is easy to venture out to the North Shore via Ala Moana Blvd. Walk out and have a picnic at Ala Moana beach park, walk along the Ala Wai Canal. Stroll to the grass by the Hilton Lagoon and watch the fireworks every Friday at 7:45. It's all right here! Guests have an assigned parking stall in a secured garage, key to pool, hot tub, tennis court, laundry on 4th floor, ice machine on 3rd floor. This can significantly increase the wait time to get downstairs (10+ minutes). Please take this into consideration before making your reservation. On the other hand, that is why this place is offered at such a low rate compared with other ocean view units in Waikiki.

The NeighborhoodThe good thing about the location is it's on the edge of Waikiki, so getting in and out and around is simple outside of traffic hours. Parking is not so easy unless you reserve a space for $10 a day, and those spots are very limited. The apt. is on the corner of a stop light and bus stop, so expect to hear sirens, horns, etc. During the day there's a small view of the Ala Wai Canal. Getting AroundThere are several bus stops within a block away. Street parking is hard to come by. Taxi's are everywhere, but I would suggest the Uber or Lyft app. Limited onsite parking for a rental is $10 a day, reservations required. Offsite paid parking is around $25 a day. Free parking is about a 20 min walk. Other Things to NotePARKING: $10 a day onsite available by reservations, spaces are very limited here on the property and in all of Waikiki. Free street parking weekdays except for 2 hours at 630am and 330pm Paid parking is around $25 a day in the nearby lots. Free parking on the weekends starting at 5:30pm on Friday (almost full by 5:45pm). You do not need a car at all and the shuttle bus will even take you to the outlet malls and picks you up here! Getting AroundYou don't need a car from here but if you want to take a bus, it comes here, and Advantage rental car is right in the lobby and you might wish to rent on a per diem basis to drive around the island, for instance. A day at a time might be all you need it for -- Other Things to NoteYou do not need to pack very much -- just the basics. The shopping is amazing so leave lots of space for things you buy when you are here! There is parking available for an extra charge but it is reasonable. Luana Waikiki is owner managed, which means guests are in direct contact with the owner for any questions, issues, requests, etc. pertaining to the room. However, guests will pick up their room key from the front desk and can make reservations for the day spa directly. Valet parking is optional for guests and is $35 per day. If they do not wish to valet park, there is metered parking and garages nearby. Guests can ask about other parking options as well through the owner. Daily maid service is not provided, however if guests would like to request this they may do so through the owner.

    The SpaceLocated on the 19th floor of the Ilikai Hotel in Waikiki, this condo offers the most breathtaking views of the ocean, beaches, and Friday firework show. it is so amazing, you may never want to leave! Featuring a beautifully updated kitchen, with granite counters and breakfast bar, this is the perfect vacation spot. While eating out in Hawaii is fun, it can also be expensive, and its great to have a full kitchen to have the stay at home and cook option. We have had many meals out there on the lanai, overlooking (URL HIDDEN) peaceful! The living area has a comfy couch and a large flat screen tv, and a built in desk. There are two comfy full sized beds with beautiful bedding. The best part about this condo is the lanai and location, proximity to EVERYTHING. You are centrally located to a lot of what Waikiki has to offer. Guest AccessCoin operated laundry room across the hallway. And the Ilikai also offers a large bathers elevator, making bringing Surfboards to and from the beach, easy! The Ilikai also features "The Glass Elevator" (Jack Johnson filmed a portion of his new music video for his song " I Got You" in the glass elevator), and Sorrento's restaurant. There is convenient valet parking located downstairs, for $24 for 24 hours with unlimited in and out privileges. It's also very easy to catch a cab downstairs, and there is public transportation right outside of the building, as well. Interaction with GuestsThere is a GREAT lobby area downstairs and a beautiful setting to watch the evening conch shell and torch lighting ceremony prior to sunset.
