The Flat is in a great position for many lovely country and historic walks along the Basingstoke Canal and surrounding villages of Odiham, Upton Grey Froyle, Greywell, Farnham, & Alresford.
Great for Cycling or running.
The Coach House is within 5 minutes walking distance from Restaurants, and 15 minutes walk to Local Shops. Odiham Castle a 5 min stroll away is a 14th Century Castle built by King John as somewhere to stay on journeys between Windsor Castle and Winchester Cathedral. The Basingstoke Canal is beautiful and you won't believe that we are so close to London with such wonderful country walks on offer.
The Coach House is in the courtyard of the main house a Georgian/Regency Villa. The Coach House has been carefully restored and modernized to high standards to include underfloor heating, Wifi and a fully working and equipped kitchen and bathroom with shower over to include a Washing Machine and Dryer

North Warnborough is a small and pretty village, within a Conservation Area. The London-Basingstoke Canal Conservation Area passes through the middle of the village, which is bounded to the north by the River Whitewater. Canoeing or Barges available to rent for further exploration. Or take to the road with bicycles we are on a lovely Wiggle for Road bikes and the countryside is fantastic. Cycle from Gastro pub to Gastro pub and enjoy the view for 70 mile round trip or shorter ones!!
The historic village of Odiham is a quarter of a mile's walk or drive and has everything you expect from a Georgian Market Town, and the small town of Hook are within 1 mile with its City Link Train Station gives you the access you need for Sightseeing in London without a car, whilst the larger towns of Farnham and Basingstoke are also nearby providing a wider range of shopping and recreational facilities. There is a mainline station at Hook (from 56 minutes to Central London Waterloo Station), whilst the M3 (Junc. 5) is within 1/4 mile providing fast access to the national motorway network as well as Heathrow, Gatwick and Southampton airports.
From Junction 5 of the M3, follow the signs to Odiham on the A287. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the B3349, signposted to North Warnborough.
There are many restaurants and local english gastro pubs in the villages in our area.

The Basingstoke Canal with our very own Odiham Castle is down the road with mill houses, fords, woods and fields.
We are lucky to have many local pubs and restaurants with excellent food in our village and neighbouring villages, and we have a fantastic Fine Wine and Farm Shop in the village which together with selling beautiful meat and groceries, fresh bread and patisseries serves breakfast, lunch and tea with cooking lessons in their prestigious cookery school well worth booking, all within walking distance.
Under 1 hour Access to London, Guildford, Farnborough, Windsor, Farnham, Reading, Stockbridge, Heathrow, and our central position makes it a country experience with all amenities within easy reach.
Discover England's newest National Park, The South Downs. Go Ape at Alice Holt Forests or Tree Running Stockbridge, or Bracknell Forests. Go cycling anywhere and everywhere we live on a Wiggle! with smart road bikes passing us every day we can put you in touch with a bike hire company so you can join them. Go shopping in Winchester or visit the cathedral or King Arthurs table. Go to see Jane Austen's House Museum in Chawton, and visit little Art Galleries in Selbourne. Portsmouth is worth a visit to see the historic Mary Rose or HMS Victory. There is canoeing, bowling, Cinemas, Theatres or ice skating in Basingstoke or shopping at Festival Place. The beautiful Georgian wool towns of Farnham, Odiham & Alresford. Highclere Castle or Downton Abbey to see the Egyptian relics from the tomb of Tutankhamun. Take a steam train along the Watercress Line.
There are lots of pubs in the area serving delicious food: the Hoddington Arms in Upton Grey, The Derby in North Warnborough, Bel and the Dragon at the George in Odiham, The Fur & Feathers in Herriard, The Anchor Inn in Lower Froyle, the Woolpack Inn in Totford, The Purefoy Arms in Preston Candover.
There are lovely food, gift and flower shops in Odiham, our Georgian Market town (market day is Friday by the way) and snug tea rooms, post office, barber, hairdressers, supermarket and banks.
