The SpaceNewly remodeled, large flat encompasses the entire second floor of the historic Streetcar Station. Ample parking right off US Hwy 41. Full kitchen with fridge, stove & oven, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, all pots & pans, plates & bowls, glasses & mugs, utensils. Bakeware too:). Two tables seat 10 (6 in kitchen, 4 in living room).
Living Room has Pub Table, large HDTV with free cable & internet (fast wifi), and two couches and a large chair with foot stool.
King Bedroom has king bed and a 2 compartment closet with sliding doors. Closet has lots of hanging space and several shelves. An iron and ironing board are stored here.
Queen Bedroom has two queen beds, 2 dressers, an extra towel cupboard (stuffed with extra full size towels, hand towels, wash cloths, and bath matts). Also a boot tray by the heater, so your boots and shoes will dry and be warm. Guest AccessFull access at all times. Flat has own dedicated entrance. Pull right up to the door to unload. In winter, parking is right in front; in summer, unload at the front door, and park around back.

The old mining town of Ahmeek is located midway up the Keweenaw, right on the main north -south highway, US Hwy 41. Centrally located to all the Keweenaw attractions, and close to Keweenaw National Historic Park in Calumet and Hancock, Ahmeek is also within easy driving distance to Houghton, home of Michigan Tech University.

Spring, summer, and fall bring Michigan Tech visitors (we are a favorite hangout for students' families and alumni), as well as those drawn to the natural beauty of the Keweenaw.
Summer (May 15 - Oct 15) is a special time as we open the "Dairy Bar" ice cream window and the North Woods Conservancy Nature Center downstairs. Hours are 11 am - 10 pm during the week and 11 am - 11 pm Fri, Sat, and Sun. Over 22 flavors of Jilberts hand dipped ice cream, plus soft serve ice cream, shakes & malts, sundaes, dairy-free sorbet bars, coffee & coffee drinks, and bison burgers, bison hot dogs & polish sausages. Grilling each weekend.
