There is a telephone, a small TV set suitable for watching the news and weather, and a basic sound system. NO cutting edge technology! The kitchen is functional. It is equipped with a microwave, stove, fridge, toaster-oven, coffee-maker with pots pans and all necessary utensils. The farm table seats 6 comfortably. For the winter season, several cross-country skiing and snow-shoeing opportunities are available. Well insulated, the air tight cast-iron wood-stove which has been inserted into the large natural stone fireplace keeps the entire cabin quite warm. Good quality firewood is supplied. At 345 metres (1,132 feet) it is the highest point in Le Haut-Saint-Laurent.
