Horseshoe Lake is in a rural setting with privately owned homes lining the banks, which feature beautiful bald cypress trees growing along the banks. Wildlife abounds at Horseshoe Lake, which is not only a favorite for all types of water sports, it is well-known as a great fishing lake of crappie, bream, bass and catfish. And just 30 miles away Memphis offers a variety of entertainment with great restaurants, music events, museums and lots of sightseeing opportunities. Individual rooms available for booking. Guest AccessGuests have access to all of the formal living and dining areas, as well as the more casual family room and the Snowden Library Bar. The kitchen is shared with the owner and is available to guests for simple meal preparations. Preparation of breakfast and dinner may be arranged with advance notice. All the outdoor areas including the seating area on the lawn under the oaks, hammock on the bank, chaise lounge chairs and sun umbrella on pier are available for guests. I am here to answer questions about the house, the area, sightseeing, etc., and once my guests are settled, I give my guests complete privacy and use of the home. A semi-private access road affords leisurely walks along the lake away from major thoroughfares.
