The SpaceOur home is designed to have the kids entertained, so you can sit back and relax and take in the beautiful view and bush surroundings. No need to leave your 4 legged family member at home, our house is dog friendly (as long as it is house trained). Our outdoor entertaining area is very special with an outside lounge and table and built in BBQ with a bar fridge. At night time, there are fairy lights and lights shining up the spectacular sandstone cliff. Every room has a view (apart from the bathrooms, laundry and 1 of the offices). We have a down stairs pool room for the kids to hang out with a pin ball machine, TV with wii and PS2. This room also has a double sofa bed and 2 floor mattresses. Access is external and via the pool. If you need to do some work, we have 2 offices to choose from with wifi, printer, scanner and copier. Please note there are 50 stairs to our front door - it is well worth the stairs as once you enter our property, you feel like you have escaped into your own private resort. Guest AccessYou have access to everywhere, including the use of the tinny, 4 kayaks (2 adults and 2 kids) and stand up paddle board. There are many wonderful places to explore on the river which we have outlined in our 'Information Folder' we have for our guests, like admiring the sandstone waterfront mansions, have a picnic on the rivers edge in the national park, go fishing, go to Woolwich baths for a swim, go up the river to 'Whitefire Grill and Bar' for a meal or drink. There are also 2 bikes for your use. Interaction with GuestsWe will be on the mobile and email if you have any questions. We will also leave emergency phone numbers. The NeighborhoodThe heart of Hunters Hill is only a 5 minute walk away. Here you will find the 'Hunters Hill Hotel' for a drink, great pub meals and live entertainment, the best bakery, 6 coffee shops, many restaurants (Thai, Indian, fish and chips, 2 Chinese, 3 Italian - pizza and wood fired meats and seafood). We are a few minutes walk to the beautiful bush walk along the Lane Cove River National Park. There is also an oval at the end of our street. Hunters Hill is centrally located to all Sydney has to offer. We are a 15 minute drive into the City, Darling Harbour, King Street Wharf or Chatswood or a 30 minute drive to Manly or Bondi or an hours drive to the Blue Mountains. If you are looking for a great place to see the fire works on New Years Eve, there is curtesy shuttle bus at the end of our street to take you to one of the best vantage points in Sydney at Clarkes Point.
