The house was built in 1955. Bob and Dany are rarely available to greet you upon your arrival. The door has a code-access door knob for ease of access. CANCELLATIONS/REFUNDS – In order to obtain a full refund of your deposit, a THIRTY-DAY or greater notice is required for cancellation. No refunds are given for cancellation within less than thirty days. SMOKING – There is no smoking allowed anywhere on the property at anytime. PETS – We are not permitting pets at this time. ODOROUS COOKING – We respectfully request that you do not cook or reheat any food items containing very strong odors that can become embedded in the fabrics of the apartment. Specifically curry. We reserve the right to charge an additional cleaning fee of $60.00 should very strong odors linger in the apartment and require additional cleaning, such as laundering window coverings and rugs. PERFUME, COLOGNE, BODY SPRAYS – Please refrain from using or spraying any perfume, cologne, body sprays, etc. in the apartment. Subsequent guests may have allergies that will affect their comfort. If you do use these products, please use them outside of the apartment. LINENS – The house is supplied with bed linens, towels, blankets and pillows. All linens are freshly laundered prior to your arrival. We provide your initial supply of paper products, soaps, detergents, trash bags, etc for your convenience. ROUTINE HOUSE CLEANING – Guests are responsible for routine light cleaning and straightening such as sweeping and placing garbage in the outside receptacle. PARKING - Please park your vehicle in front of the house on the street. Off street parking is not available at this time. CHECK-IN: After 4:00 PM The entrance to the apartment is in the front of the house just below and in front of the front steps. Once you arrive at the garage door look left and you will see a pathway leading to your private entrance. Access code will be provided to you one day before your arrival. Please note: We enforce quiet time from 9:00 PM until 7:00 AM. CHECKOUT: Before 11:00 AM On the morning of your checkout please do the following: Place all towels in the hamper provided. You may leave beds unmade. Bring all trash to the garbage pail located at the foot of the driveway. Please lock the door and window, and turn of air conditioning and/or heat, and lights prior to your final departure. Please remember to leave a review of our space we love to hear from our guests! We participate in sustainable housekeeping. HOUSEHOLD HOW TOs: A recycling bin is provided for your use. There is a pail for all recyclable materials metal, glass, plastic and a separate paper bag for paper. At this time we do not provide composting. Please rinse out any used plastics or aluminum cans and place these in the bin, along with folded boxes or papers. TOWEL REUSE Over 75% of guests who are asked to participate in our new resource savings program do help by using their towels more than once. You can join your fellow guests to help save the environment by reusing your towels during your stay. TO OPERATE HEAT: Be sure the switch is on HEAT. Use the up and down arrows to raise or lower the temperature. When leaving for an extended period… please reduce the temperature to 58 degrees or turn off completely. ELECTRICTY When leaving the apartment for any amount of time it is required that all non-essential electricity be turned off. This includes lights, air conditioning, etc. We reserve the right to enter the space to turn off any non-essential electricity should it be left on while you are out. REPAIRS /SERVICE CALLS: We cannot guarantee against mechanical failure of equipment such as heating, air conditioning, TV's or other appliances. Please report any equipment that is not operating properly and we will make every effort to resolve the problem as quickly as possible. Renter(s) understand and agree that owners of Spring Road Guest Studio or its repair people might need access to the apartment for the purpose of making the repair. Guest AccessBob and Dany are rarely available to greet guests upon arrival. The apartment is fully setup for self-sufficiency. The private entrance has a coded door knob where you enter your private door code to gain entrance. This code is sent 24 hours prior to your arrival. At this time, only On-Street Parking is available. Interaction with GuestsBob and Dany live on the premises and are available to you if needed. They respect your privacy. Once belonging to the Matinecock Indians, Huntington was purchased by a group of English settlers on April 2, 1653 . Today, the Township of Huntington , with its beautiful beaches and waterways, intimate villages and thriving business community, is home to over 200,000 people. With its vast array of shopping, restaurants, galleries, museums and entertainment, Huntington has it all within 98 square miles. Huntington enjoys five harbors bordering the north shore of the Town: Cold Spring Harbor, Lloyd Harbor, Huntington, Centerport, and Northport harbors. With its coves and bays there are a total of nine beaches maintained by the Town. The Town has also put into operation three marinas for the use of residents.       The SpaceComfortable and dry, light and airy space with queen sized bed. Daybed in the sitting area for reading and relaxing. Kitchenette with coffee maker, electric kettle, microwave, toaster, utensils cups and glasses. Fridge/freezer stocked with milk, beverages, fruit and yogurt for a private breakfast. All new large bathroom with real tile floor, large shower stall, new vanity and fixtures. The house is over 120 years old but the apartment is the newest space and the most comfortable. There is a private garden area for guests to enjoy. Private driveway for safe, off street parking. Keyless (keypad) entry allows for anytime access. Guest AccessGuests have the entire apartment and a large patio to themselves. Also a secluded garden sitting area for cocktails, lounging, reading relaxing. No access to the rest of the house is necessary. Interaction with GuestsGuests have the ability to be completely secluded and not interact with the hosts or they can elect to meet and exchange ideas or request certain breakfast items. We know how important private time is and we offer it without reserve. Of course we are on hand to provide for individual needs and information on restaurants and attractions in the area. The NeighborhoodProximity to the most exciting areas of Huntington make this spot the most desirable destination. Crew, Prime and Tutto Pazzo are right nearby as well as TK's Galley, Mazar Grill and Shamrock Pub for casual dining. The homes are spaced well apart so the garden is very secluded and private. A safe neighborhood that is well patrolled. Getting AroundThe Suffolk Public Transportation bus stop is at the foot of our street and runs north/south along Route 110 from Huntington to Amityville through Melville. The LIRR stop in Huntington is 1.2 miles away and can be reached by bus. LIRR offers express and off-peak local schedules to NYC and points east. Other Things to NoteGuests should always check out "Goupon" and "LivingHuntington" on line for excellent deals on restaurants in this area. Savings above 50% can be had at certain locations. Huntington has its own "restaurant week" when all participating establishments have prix fixe deals and specials. There is also 2016 Long Island Restaurant Week (10/30-11/6) and deals are exceptional. The waterfront area has many excellent offerings from charter fishing boats to kayak and paddle board rentals all within walking distance from the apartment.

We are super down to earth. I myself enjoy meeting all the new people and sharing stories of travel. Our cats are social-- if you're not a cat person I can put them in my room part of the time. My cats might jump on the counter but know that the counters are wiped down often and we have a house keeper who does deep cleaning. The NeighborhoodHuntington Village is the best! Has almost evrything you would find in the city just scaled down. LOVE IT! High Boy Table with Two Stool Chairs for Comfortable Dining Please be aware this space is semi-subterranean, so you may here house noises (water running, heating system knocking slightly). The house was built in 1955. Bob and Dany are rarely available to greet you upon your arrival. The door has a code-access door knob for ease of access. CANCELLATIONS/REFUNDS – In order to obtain a full refund of your deposit, a THIRTY-DAY or greater notice is required for cancellation. No refunds are given for cancellation within less than thirty days. SMOKING – There is no smoking allowed anywhere on the property at anytime. PETS – We are not permitting pets at this time. ODOROUS COOKING – We respectfully request that you do not cook or reheat any food items containing very strong odors that can become embedded in the fabrics of the apartment. Specifically curry. We reserve the right to charge an additional cleaning fee of $60.00 should very strong odors linger in the apartment and require additional cleaning, such as laundering window coverings and rugs. PERFUME, COLOGNE, BODY SPRAYS – Please refrain from using or spraying any perfume, cologne, body sprays, etc. in the apartment. Subsequent guests may have allergies that will affect their comfort. If you do use these products, please use them outside of the apartment. LINENS – The house is supplied with bed linens, towels, blankets and pillows. All linens are freshly laundered prior to your arrival. We provide your initial supply of paper products, soaps, detergents, trash bags, etc for your convenience. ROUTINE HOUSE CLEANING – Guests are responsible for routine light cleaning and straightening such as sweeping and placing garbage in the outside receptacle. PARKING - Please park your vehicle in front of the house on the street. Off street parking is not available at this time. CHECK-IN: After 4:00 PM The entrance to the apartment is in the front of the house just below and in front of the front steps. Once you arrive at the garage door look left and you will see a pathway leading to your private entrance. Access code will be provided to you one day before your arrival. Please note: We enforce quiet time from 9:00 PM until 7:00 AM. CHECKOUT: Before 11:00 AM On the morning of your checkout please do the following: Place all towels in the hamper provided. You may leave beds unmade. Bring all trash to the garbage pail located at the foot of the driveway. Please lock the door and window, and turn of air conditioning and/or heat, and lights prior to your final departure. Please remember to leave a review of our space we love to hear from our guests! We participate in sustainable housekeeping. HOUSEHOLD HOW TOs: A recycling bin is provided for your use. There is a pail for all recyclable materials metal, glass, plastic and a separate paper bag for paper. At this time we do not provide composting. Please rinse out any used plastics or aluminum cans and place these in the bin, along with folded boxes or papers. TOWEL REUSE Over 75% of guests who are asked to participate in our new resource savings program do help by using their towels more than once. You can join your fellow guests to help save the environment by reusing your towels during your stay. TO OPERATE HEAT: Be sure the switch is on HEAT. Use the up and down arrows to raise or lower the temperature. When leaving for an extended period… please reduce the temperature to 58 degrees or turn off completely. ELECTRICTY When leaving the apartment for any amount of time it is required that all non-essential electricity be turned off. This includes lights, air conditioning, etc. We reserve the right to enter the space to turn off any non-essential electricity should it be left on while you are out. REPAIRS /SERVICE CALLS: We cannot guarantee against mechanical failure of equipment such as heating, air conditioning, TV's or other appliances. Please report any equipment that is not operating properly and we will make every effort to resolve the problem as quickly as possible. Renter(s) understand and agree that owners of Spring Road Guest Studio or its repair people might need access to the apartment for the purpose of making the repair.
