The NeighborhoodLocated in a quiet peaceful neighborhood, off street parking in your own parking space in my driveway that is well lit at night in case you need to come and go. Getting AroundFood Lion, gas station, Dollar General, Post Office, Churches, sweet Family Restaurant and MacDonalds all within walking distance of my home. Other Things to NoteBuilt in 1820, this home won an award by the gentleman that completely renovated it in 2006. Original 200 year old floors in your bedroom/ sitting area, original hardware and, molding and door knobs were re installed after everything else was replaced new.

The SpaceOur home is a 1930s American Foursquare that was built by its longtime original owner. The property was home for a local family for many years. We are currently in the process of a 6-year project to complete an update to the property. The Home is modest in size with the first floor consisting of the kitchen, living room, dining room, as well as mud/laundry space. The second floor consists one large bedroom with queen size bed, one small room with a twin size bed. The home is situated on approximately 1-acre of land. Guest AccessYou will have access to the entire home and will have complete privacy during your stay. Interaction with GuestsWe are available to help with any questions or issues that pop up during your stay. We will stop in to check on our small backyard flock of chickens once a day. The NeighborhoodThe home is located in a rural/suburban area of Dorchester County, near the waterman village of Secretary, MD. A beautiful bike ride from Secretary to the village of Choptank is a must! Getting AroundThe property is accessible by car. Other Things to NoteThe property is close to several local places to eat, including Suicide Bridge Restaurant (an easy bike ride away!) as well as several local spots in Secretary and East New Market. Cambridge restaurants are a 10 minute drive away. Main grocery stores are located in Cambridge area but several quick-shops are nearby.

The SpaceNature filled place, nice rooms with a relaxing, and quiet experience. Guest AccessComfy room with access to the whole house and wooded setting with a large deck for wildlife observation. Note: telescope and binoculars by request. The nature walks with rabbits, red birds, hawks, eagles, to much to list and take in. biking, pool and gym passes, canoe rides, coffee bar with snacks. See you soon. Interaction with GuestsMy rating for communication is 5 star. I want my guests to be comfortable. The NeighborhoodThe Maryland's Eastern shore is nature and privacy at its finest. The sunrises are fantastic. Attractions: Avalon theater, Art museum an Alpaca farm. Harriet Tubman and the Underground Railroad. An interactive Linchester Mill that George Washington visited during the Civil to much to list by way of things to do. Getting AroundGuests can use a car, taxi, bus, limo, boat, uber, airport, ferry, horse, hot air balloon and sail. If you need transportation to the airport, BWI, we transport for a fee. Other Things to NoteWe will make sure you find your port of call and we can suggest things to see and do. Many attractions including hot air ballooning, theatre, museums, alpaca farm, marinas, trails, horseback riding, shooting range, to much to list. We do manicures and pedicures on site for an extra fee. We have pool passes upon request.

The SpaceThe house with 18 acres partially wooded with a deck observation area. Binoculars and telescope upon request... Guest AccessThe whole property plus our waterways and nature walks. Our water pond and swing for two is enjoyed by many guests. Interaction with GuestsWe have 5 star communication at its best. The NeighborhoodNature at its best, the countryside is nice but then we are minutes from town. We have the best of both worlds plus we do manicures and pedicures by request for a small fee. Pool and gym passes and canoe available upon request. Getting AroundCar, plane, taxi, bus, greyhound, boat. hot air balloon, ferry, canoe, kayak, sail boat, limo, horse, alpaca and walking just to name a few. Other Things to NoteWe have pool and gym passes upon request plus ample parking , also binoculars and telescope upon request.

The SpaceWelcome to use kitchen for making your own breakfast & storing food / you clean up /no dishwasher. If you enjoy cooking dinner, you're welcome to - if you'll cook for us too. We'll wash up! Wonderful local produce and dairy products available in season. If you are bringing a horse we have stalls or paddock available for a fee. We have animals. And mud depending on the season. Like most horse-people, a spotless house isn't our first priority. Area not suitable for guests with animal or outdoor allergies. Unable to host children under 12 due to insurance risks related to horses on property. Guest AccessPrivate small bedroom. You're welcome to use kitchen, dining table, share bath, hike on the farm. Those bringing their own horse have use of barn, riding area, trails & nearby public wildlife area - additional $15/ night per horse (self-care). Interaction with GuestsCan aim you to websites for local info and help with maps. Very busy with work & farm - so we are quiet hosts who will give you privacy. The NeighborhoodFarm country half-way between the beach and the bay, great for bicyclists, birders. Very quiet. No entertainment or nightlife. We are along the historic Harriett Tubman UNDERGROUND RAILROAD SCENIC ROUTE. Getting AroundEasy access to state highway system. Other Things to NoteWe have indoor dog and cat & outdoor horses. Horses are not available for riding but see website if interested in Rider Body Mechanics Lessons on your OWN horse. We have a B&B permit from the county and pay taxes on your stay.

The NeighborhoodOur quiet setting is relaxing. We have fishing. hunting, horseback riding, painting pottery, antiquing, yoga classes. Manicures and pedicures are done at our place for a fee... Some interesting facts: George Washington visited the Linchester Mill attraction up the street. Our frogs live in our water garden... their names are Romeo and Juliette plus Half pint and Sully, We have hot air ballooning and many more attractions to much to list. Getting AroundTransportation is available by way of boats, greyhound, taxi, motorcycles, car rental and uber. Plus we provide transportation to BWI airport for a fee. My 19th fully restored house is surrounded by water and county once you leave this quaint small town. 28 thousand acres of Black Water Refuge with biking and kayaking and hiking. Great bird watching. Only 45 minutes to some of the finest Atlantic ocean beaches.. My place is good for couples and families (with kids).

    Our home has a beautiful fire fly show in our historical wooded back yard. Always enjoy our wildlife our humming birds are the best. Go four leaf clover hunting. The deck is comfortable with lounge chairs for basting in the summer sun. We have goats that get loose... The horse that lives in our nieborhood thinks he is human. He tries to eat me breakfast. Romeo and Juliet live in the water garden. Happy Travels

      My place is close to 20 minutes to Easton Maryland or Cambridge Maryland 15 minutes to the Delaware State line for Tax free shopping. Only 1hr away to Ocean city MD. Close to great Hunting in Dorchester County Maryland and only 20min to the Black Water wild life refuge . You’ll love my place because of The location that it is to all major citys but still in the setting of a small town. Great neighborhood. No traffic.. My place is good for couples, solo adventures and Big groups

      My place is close to the Choptank River and its centrally located between Ocean City, D.C., and Baltimore . My place is good for couples and families (with kids). It's a family home great for Bar BQ's or Maryland crab feast with a large pool, multiple decks, walking trails with plenty of room for kids to safely play in the quiet historical district of East New Market just 8 miles from the Ironman race. We would gladly transport athletes and spectators to and from the race!
