The SpaceConveniently situated within two minutes drive or 15 minutes walk of Hythe village centre - room38 offers self-contained accommodation for two guests. Whether on holiday, business or visiting relatives. Newly built and opened for business July 2014, room38 has its own private entrance and sole use of a small enclosed outside space to the front. Fresh, light and modern inside, the accommodation is compact but perfectly formed consisting of a double bed, en-suite shower room, kitchenette area with fridge, microwave (no oven), toaster, kettle and crockery, cutlery etc. A welcome pack of tea, milk and other essentials is provided on arrival. On the edge of the New forest with good road and transport links, it is the perfect base for exploring the National Park, Southampton and the rest of the South Coast.

The SpaceA very spacious, comfortable and well equipped 46 ft long motor boat with seating and accommodation over 4 levels. Forward cabin with 2 bunks with en suite shower and toilet. main saloon seating has a metal action fold out bed built into it for 1 person.The aft cabin is amazing,King size bed and very very spacious with en suite shower basin and toilet. A well equipped kitchen with full size fridge freezer, oven and hob as well as a kettle and coffee percolator. The boat is fully heated including the back deck and flybridge which have optional covers to keep the breeze off. The marina entrance is controlled by lock gates, operated 24 hours a day throughout the year, and there is easy access to Southampton Water and several of our other marinas situated in and around the Solent. Cruising enthusiasts can explore the Beaulieu River to the west or continue on to the bustling town of Lymington, close to the New Forest. Heading east takes you to Portsmouth, steeped in naval history, and there are numerous anchorages to explore within the sheltered waters of Chichester Harbour. The SpacePleasant downstairs double bedroom, the shower room including toilet and basin toilet, is across the hall, and is for your private use but they are not ensuite. Our bungalow home with garden is in a quiet residential area, there is a small shopping parade including Fish & Chips, an Indian takeaway, hairdresser and convenience store only 5 min walk away, and further amenities, shops and supermarket, pubs, cafes, restaurants and seafront (Solent) that the village of Hythe has to offer, a 15 min walk away. Southampton is a mere ferry ride away. Guest AccessConservatory, garden and living room. Downstairs shower room and toilet for their sole use but it is not en suite. You are welcome to make tea or coffee (supplied) and to use the microwave in the kitchen. Fridge space available. The TV is in the living room. Interaction with GuestsAs much or as little as they wish. We have lots of leaflets on local attractions and also on those somewhat further away. The NeighborhoodExtremely friendly and peaceful. We live in a residential area with little traffic noise. The New Forest is right on our doorstep, one mile, with its many attractions. The village of Beaulieu is a few minutes drive away. The seafront, Solent, is also a mile away about a 15 minute walk. Getting AroundBuses, barely 10 mins walk away, run every half hour which go to Southampton, there is also the ferry service which also runs twice an hour. During the summer there is the beach bus and the New Forest bus which takes you to various parts of the Forest from Hythe. There is on street parking. Ferries go to the Isle of Wight from Southampton, 25 mins, or Lymington, 30 mins by car. Other Things to NotePlease note breakfast is cereal, toast, tea coffee, nothing cooked! Our bungalow is on a hill with a level front garden and rear patio. There is a very wide shallow step and another step, quite wide, to access the front door. The walk to the bus (10 mins) and the village and pier (15 mins) is partly downhill, a bit uphill and the main part is level.

    The Apartment is situated at the furthest point out into the sea along the Solent coastline and therefore offer panoramic views of passing small & large vessels, cruise liners, QM2, Queen Elizabeth, Britannia, Oceana, and Red Funnel Ferries through their large full length L-shaped lounge windows/doors and unique porthole windows. Views are over Hythe Village, Hythe Marina, Southampton & Docks, & as far as the eye can see down towards to IOWight. The vessels are so close you feel that you could reach out and touch them. Just before leaving the cruise liners often have firework displays and you will be able to see many people on deck waving. On the large semi circular balcony you can see and hear the sea beneath you. The apartment is very quiet, other than the seagulls and the sea.

The room is small but with a comfy bed and plenty of storage. You are welcome to use the utility area for washing and drying and make use of the kitchen.       Parking for 5 plus cars front and rear gardens full enclosed ideal for small chilldren very secure.The house is a new build and comes with a high spec there are 3 bedrooms upstairs there is 1king size bed and 2 3 foot single beds there is also a bathroom with shower toilet and a basin.Down stairs is a double bed and just along the hall is a bathroom with bath shower over toilet and a basin the doors downstairs including bathroom are able to take wheelchairs.Downstairs is wood flooring upstair is carpeted all down stairs has underfloor heating,kitchen has all the mod cons a tv wall mounted and the lounge has a large tv as do all the bedrooms.

      A spacious family home, providing a large, well appointed and comfortable base for a holiday in this attractive area. The garden is secluded and maintained. The open forest is in walking distance and the Solent 5 minutes drive. The ferry from Hythe to Southampton is 2 miles away as is a golf course and an excellent leisure centre. Within walking distance of the house there is a Sports complex, gym sauna badminton, tennis and swimming. Also golf course. The Ferry at Hythe provides easy access to Southampton and views of the cruise ships. Travel along the pier in the miniature train. Dry ski slope at Calshot and Southampton Hillier Arboretum at Romsey and Exbury Gardens, home of the Rothschilds are beautiful garden Centres and places of interest as is the home of the Mountbattens at Romsey.

      Oakhurst was originally built in the 1930s with subsequent sympathetic extensions. It stands in its own grounds exceeding 1 acre and includes a hard, enclosed tennis court. There is a large patio with water feature and BBQ with outdoor lighting. There are numerous mature oaks and other trees at the front, with extensive lawns at the rear and a large area for parking. The kitchen has been completely rebuilt with a twin electric ovens and a gas hob; an American-style fridge/freezer and a drinks cooler. There is a breakfast bar and a separate dining table; washing machine and dryer. The bathrooms have been re-tiled and fitted with new power showers. There is an open fireplace in the lounge and a pool table, with separate dining and TV rooms and a dedicated WiFi connection. The Pilgrim pub and restaurant is 8 mins walk away; the New Forest is less than half a mile away and the sea can be reached on foot in 15 mins.       Recently renovated, offering privacy in a woodland environment, wood burner and lovely gardens with large patio for BBQ and summerhouse. Parking for 4-6 cars. 3 Bedrooms 2 upstairs 1 double 2 single beds family bathroom downstairs 1 king bed also down stairs is a bathroom with shower toilet basin ideal for the less mobile person.there is a good size lounge and a conserver try adjoining which is good if you want peace as there is a separate door from the lounge its also good for keeping wet pet in as it has hard flooring to be easy mopped.
