The SpaceThe house is by the main road and can be accessed by a number of steps from the front door. Please note the steps are quite steep. Also because the house is by the main road, there is noise from the traffic which gets worst at weekends during the summer.
Leading up to the house, there are three terraces with flowers, trees and vegetables that offer relaxing views from the house.
The first-floor flat has a bedroom with a comfortable king-size bed and a patio at the front, outside the bedroom. The flat has a fully functioning kitchen with an electric hob and oven, and fridge. A gas cooker is also available, should it be needed. There is a large dinning table that can sit 6 people.
2 sofas in an L shape are available in the lounge where 2 people can sleep. Up to 4 people can sleep in the first floor.
There is also a toilet, with a WC, walk-in shower (there is no shower tray) and sink.
Outside the lounge/dinning area there is a balcony, with a small table and chairs where you can sit and have a drink, enjoying the sunset. Outside the house on the right there is a patio where you can also dine 'al fresco' and have barbecues.
A set of external stairs leads to the second-floor flat, which has a similar layout. A bedroom with a kingsize bed, a cupboard with storage. A balcony can be accessed from the bedroom. In the lounge there is a dinning table with conformable chairs and a sofa that can sleep 1 adult, or 2 children. We have a portable bed available that can provide sleeping for one more person. Up to 4 adults can sleep in the second-floor flat. A balcony can be accessed from the lounge with a table and chairs. The toilet is similar to downstairs with WC, walk-in shower (no shower tray) and sink.
We have solar panels fitted in the house, which guarantees a regular supply of hot water.
We also have a baby travel cot available. Please let me know if you will need one.
The house is by the main road which is noisy especially during weekends. During the summer there are parties and clubs on the beach and the music can be heard in the house. The best thing to do is to keep window doors and shutters closed.
In the summer there can be issues with electricity as the power can be very weak. This can affect the lighting in the evening (but we have candles), the fridge and the air con (but we have a fan).
The house offers lovely but basic holiday conditions and can work ideally for families with older children and groups wanting to travel, party and don't mind being immersed in a properly Albanian experience. Guest AccessGuests will have access to the first-floor flat, with a kitchen.
If you do not need a kitchen, you can rent the second-floor flat.
The first floor flat has a shower room, with walk-in shower, WC and sink.
Part of the flat is a lovely balcony to enjoy the beautiful view over the sea.
There is a patio area available for barbecues.
Growing flowers and fruit trees will add to the tranquil feeling of the house. Interaction with GuestsThe hosts of the house will greet you and give you the keys. When you rent one flat, the other flat maybe occupied. The NeighborhoodConveniently located close to the national road, with proximity to beaches on foot (30 minutes walk) or by car (10 minutes) drive, this house has beautiful views over the Ionian Sea and olive trees.
Shops are available nearby (5 minutes drive) and cafes and restaurants on the beach.
You can chose to cook at home or use the barbecue, or dine out and enjoy beautiful sunsets by the beach or on the veranda of the house.
The numerous bars and clubs offer partying possibilities for those that enjoy dancing nights. It is easy to get there from the house and back. Other Things to NoteThe minimum booking for the flat or entire house is 2 nights.
