The living room has a comfortable sofa, wool rug, sideboard and TV and the dining area a table and chairs. Quality linen and a selection of pillows. The wardrobe has plenty of hanging space and the bedside tables have drawers. The living room has a tree-top outlook and the street is shady and quiet. Guest AccessThe entire one bedroom apartment. It comprises of bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, living/dining room. Total area is 53 square metres. Access is simple and easy and parking is under cover in allocated carport. Coin operated laundry with washing machines and dryers is located in an adjoining building. Entry to the main building is keyless and keys to the unit can be accessed 24/7 from a key-safe beside the front door of the unit. Interaction with GuestsI live in the same suburb and am more than happy to answer any questions, suggest places to visit and provide bearings. I am always contactable by phone and if needed can meet you at the unit if required. The NeighborhoodCampbell, located at the foot of Mt Ainslie is a lovely tree-lined suburb. For those who like walking, a trail begins at the back of the War Memorial and leads to the top of Mt Ainslie. Lake Burley Griffin is a ten minute walk away and so it's possible to see many of Canberra's museums on foot as many of the tourist sites are located on the shores of Lake Burley Griffin. Restaurants and shopping facilities are located in Civic, the city centre, also within walking distance. Getting AroundIf you enjoy walking, you will love getting about on foot and if you have a bike even better as Canberra is a bike friendly city. Nearby Constitution Avenue is a major transport route and buses go every few minutes in both directions. There is also a bus stop on Blamey Crescent going to the city and War Memorial. The airport is about 10 minutes away by car and taxis and Uber cost $25 or less. A taxi to or from Parliament House or the city is about $15. UBER is even cheaper. Other Things to NoteLocated 1km from Russell Hill, 2km from the city and 3km from the ANU. The Campbell Shops are around the corner on Blamey Crescent. You will find a Post Office, IGA supermarket, chemist, bottle shop, bakery, cafe and two restaurants as well as a doctor's surgery, hairdresser and dentist. Two new eateries recently opened on the corner of Constitution Avenue and Creswell Streets - ten minutes walk away.

The SpaceNew listing as I just moved in. I love this place. Because the apartment is architect designed, it feels very private despite being a part of a large block. Every window faces has a green outlook and the west facing living room means sunset views from the balcony every night. The split level design makes the bedrooms feel quite separate to the living room and the timber floors are sleek but also insulated so nice and quiet underfoot. Guest AccessUnfortunately there is still no wifi until late January as I just moved in and Telstra are taking their time! There's a nice big 42 inch plasma screen TV for you're enjoyment and a good selection of coffee table books on art and design as well as magazines to unwind with. No air-con but the place keeps very cool thanks to insulation from the neighbours on either side and above. See house manual for instructions on how to optimise this! Interaction with GuestsHappy to chat and provide recommendations for this great city, but also happy to leave you to yourselves. I am home most weeknights but often work late so am a little all over the place. You will have your own key to come and go as you please. I moved to Canberra a year ago so happy to provide recommendations for great places to eat and play. The NeighborhoodCampbell is an idyllic little suburb. It was developed in the 60s so contains lots of modernist architecture to discover and the streets are peaceful and tree-lined. The Campbell shops has a beautifully stocked IGA (general store) and the liquor store next to it is owned by a very knowledgeable gent with a great selection. Getting AroundThe number 9 bus is right outside the door and there's many others around a 7m walk away. However I often take an Uber in and out of the city when I'm not riding my bike as it's usually around a $7 trip! Other Things to NoteCouples are welcome for short periods (2 weeks maximum) but for longer stays I would prefer singles as there's only one bathroom :)

The SpaceThis furnished studio unit would suit business travellers, tourists and contractors needing a Canberra base. You will have the entire unit to yourself. It's less than 30 minutes walk to the city, or a few minutes by car or Uber. It's close to everything that Canberra has to offer. The unit has been updated, but it is basic and it's not modern - hence the great price. If you're not seeking perfection, but a very adequate, comfortable and very quiet self contained unit you will enjoy your stay here. There is an equiped kitchen, large combined living/sleeping space, TV, washer & dryer, wardrobe & desk. Guest AccessThe entire apartment is for your sole use. There is no lift in this complex, and you will need to be able to walk up two flights of stairs. It is just across the road from Campbell Shops where you will find great restaurants, coffee shops, Australia Post, chemist, grocery store, liquor shop and bakery. Interaction with GuestsI do not live in this complex, but I'm not far away in need. It is a self-check-in unit without the host being on-site. The NeighborhoodCampbell is a wonderful little sleepy Canberra suburb that is close to everything. The city, lake, Russell offices and war memorial are all in walking/riding distance. ANU, Parliament House and the parliamentary triangle are all very close too. Getting AroundYou can walk, ride or Uber to just about anywhere from Campbell. It is a wonderful location and very sought after Canberra suburb. Other Things to NoteThe body corporate do not allow air-conditioners, hence there is no air-conditioning in the unit. A fan and heater is provided and does a reasonable job. Please remember it is a basic unit, and as such is offered at a fair price.
