The NeighborhoodThe Kingston precinct is unique for it's proximity to the cultural institutions, the shores of Lake Burley Griffin, great eateries from fine dining to contemporary street cafes and interesting places to browse and shop such as the Kingston Markets and Glassworks, the Fyshwick fresh food market and specialty shops at both Manuka and Kingston shops. Getting AroundOur apartment is a 10 minute cab ride from the airport, there is a metro bus stop across the road and the railway station is 10 minutes walk. The city is 10 mins by car, 20 mins by bus and 20 mins by bicycle.

For any further vehicles, there is an abundance of road side parking and a large carpark conveniently located just 1 minute walk up the block. Getting AroundWe are located on Eastlake Parade. 2 blocks up the road you will find Wentworth Avenue which has frequent public transport (Action Busses) to the City (Canberra's main hub) and other small town centres. As we are located on the lake, grab your sneakers and a hat and be sure to venture out whilst taking in Canberra's beautiful scenery. If you have a car, it is only a short drive (or Uber) and you can also take a walk up Mt Ainslie for a fantastic view of Canberra's layout. It's approximately 15 minutes to the Airport by car or Uber and approximately 10 minutes to the City by car and roughly 15-20 on public transport. Locally there are an abundance of first class restaurants and bars, a short walk up the road is an IGA Supermarket, not much further you will find a public pool and also one of Canberra's stadiums "Manuka Oval." If you are an Anytime Gym member there is one located 80 metres walk from the apartment.

The NeighborhoodThe Kingston Foreshore is Canberra's premier lakeside development and is a vibrant and cosmopolitan quarter. Bars, restaurants and cafes line the Boardwalk and busy local weekend markets are a few minutes walk away. It's only a 15-20 minute stroll along the lakeside to most of Canberra's popular sights. You can hire a bike and take a spin around the lake or hire a kayak and explore the nearby wetlands. Getting AroundFrom the Prince it is a 10 minute drive from Canberra Airport, 5 minutes from the Canberra train station and a 10 minute drive to the city centre. It is a 15 minute walk to Manuka Oval. Local bus stops are a short walk away and it's very easy to catch cabs and Ubers. Other Things to NoteLost or not returned keys and swipes will incur a $100 fee.

The SpaceAs you would expect in a home there are all the conveniences and facilities, with a fully equipped kitchen, microwave, dishwasher, TV in the lounge room as well as the bedrooms, Blu-ray DVD player and DVDs, coffee maker, plumbed fridge that has cold filtered water on tap, wifi internet. Basic condiments and non-perishable food items and bathroom toiletries are provided. This apartment is our own home and has a number of personal items, so please respect our space by not smoking, not hold any parties and please do not removing any items. The courtyard is leafy and comfortable, with an outside setting, day bed and Webber Baby-Q BBQ. There is plenty of room for four people with a queen size bed in the main bedroom and a double bed in the second bedroom. There are two bathrooms, the main one having a large spa bath. Guest AccessThe whole apartment is available Interaction with GuestsWe are staying locally so will be available for any problems. The NeighborhoodThe location and the apartment are children friendly, there is a fair sized park close by, which leads down to Lake Burley Griffin, with a playground and general BBQ area. Attractions such as Questacon, the National Gallery and National Library are all close by, as is Parliament House. Getting AroundThere are buses close by, as it is close to all amenities taxis are available. Walking is an option as it is only a 5 minute stroll to either Kingston or Manuka centres and a 10 minute walk to the shores of Lake Burley Griffin.

A great location, walking distance to the Kingston shops and foreshore. Close to parliamentary triangle and short drive to the city. There is a bus stop right outside and the train station across the road. There is a private room and bathroom. You are welcome to use the kitchen and shared living space. Please note that I have a budgerigar. There is a tennis court, gym and outdoor swimming pool that you can also access if you wish. Perfect for business travellers.
