Very well presented and outfitted, this home is a joy to live in. A homey design wraps around the living room, and together with very high ceilings, you are surrounded by a spacious, appealing environment, free of clutter. Well appointed kitchen stocked with coffee, tea, paper towel, salt, pepper and other basics along with crockery, cookware and cutlery. Double lock up garage. Come enjoy a quiet getaway in the Southern Highlands. Occasionally I have a workaway helper with domestic duties. Family friendly, but also perfect for a couples retreat. The lane has little traffic and is almost a dead end cul-de-sac. It's flat, and perfect for kids to ride safely down the lane to the nearby nature walk. Go find the hidden wombat sculpture, or carry on right up the clearly marked bush track, up to a fantastic lookout. East Bowral park is not far, as are many nature trails. A dedicated bike track is also nearby, taking you right into town, ending up at the Cherry Tree Lane park. In summer we have Bowral pool, and others nearby. Illawarra Fly attraction is nearby in Robertson, which is also lovely. Famous pie shop. Make sure you visit historic Berrima, and browse the pottery shop and other quaint places. The Highlands also has a vibrant cycling community who warmly welcome you. Try riding through the misty hills at 5:30am, and watch the sunrise, then back for coffee with your travel companions - magic. Getting AroundBus stop: 3 min walk. Bowral shops + train station: 8 mins drive. If coming via the lovely country train to Bowral station, I'm quite happy to come collect you (in my eco-friendly Tesla performance electric car!), or drop you off if I am about. Feel free to ask - no promises, but keen to make it easy for you. The 815 bus goes from Boolway St opp. Woolworths, to right around the corner from home. Search TripGo for excellent directions. The SpaceHouse built 1890 completely renovated retaining lots of old world charm. Before renovations it was originally built for the Burradoo Polo Club as their Club House. Lots of old world charm and original character. Accommodation consists of a wing with two completely self contained suites with comfy queen size bed/sitting area/bathroom/own private entrance and courtyard. 500 metres to bike track. Bikes/helmuts supplied. 3 kilometres to restaurants/golf/shops/gyms. Wonderful area for walking/bike riding and golf. Taking in the 4 distinct seasons. Neighbourhood is very quiet and wonderful for morning and afternoon walks or bike ride. This property stands out on its own positioned on 1/2 acre on a corner. Exploring Burradoo and Bowral by foot is easy, however a car is necessary to enjoy the full beauty of the Southern Highlands. You would have access to a lovely big bedroom with twin or king sized beds and an ensuite, sit in front of the fire in winter also take a stroll in our lovely gardens on our acre property. We are within a short walk (100mtrs) to the galleries, restaurants, wineries and unique stores of Berrima. A cooked breakfast is provided daily. You also have access to tea and coffee and limited cooking facilities.

For your comfort your area has reverse cycle air-conditioning, portable electric fireplaces plus central heating for those extra cold months. Separate kitchenette/laundry for your convenience. Our lane is the most prestigious in East Bowral, located on a ridge line, and commanding some long distance views of the gorgeous Southern Highland countryside. The private lane is well away from noise, allowing you an oasis of peace and tranquillity from your busy life. Very well presented and fitted out, this home is a joy to live in. An unusual open design wraps around the living room, and together with very high ceilings, you are surrounded by a spacious, appealing environment, free of clutter and well appointed. This guest bedroom is the second private bedroom in the house, apart from the owners master bedroom - sharing with myself and my son, and another lovely guest. It has a queen bed. Guests share guest bathroom - with fab claw foot bath and separate shower. I'm often away, so at times this second bedroom listing may be the master bedroom (See my other listing for whole home for pics). When I am here I may have two children, but am often working quietly in the other side of the home. The guest room and bathroom is reasonably well segregated on one side of the house. I don't often use the dining or living room so much, so you can claim that space most of the time and choose what you want to watch or otherwise relax in relative comfort and reasonable privacy. I'm happy to advise local attractions and give advice. The NeighborhoodQuiet. Family friendly, but also perfect for a couples retreat. The lane has little traffic and is almost a dead end cul-de-sac. It's flat, and perfect for kids to ride safely down the lane to the nearby nature walk. Go find the hidden wombat sculpture, or carry on right up the clearly marked bush track, up to a fantastic lookout. East Bowral park is not far, as are many nature trails. A dedicated bike track is also nearby, taking you right into town, ending up at the Cherry Tree Lane park. In summer we have Bowral pool, and others nearby. Illawarra Fly attraction is nearby in Robertson, which is also lovely. Famous pie shop. Make sure you visit historic Berrima, and browse the pottery shop and other quaint places. The Highlands also has a vibrant cycling community who warmly welcome you. Try riding through the misty hills at 5:30am, and watch the sunrise, then back for coffee with your travel companions - magic. Getting AroundBus stop: 3 min walk. Bowral shops + train station: 8 mins drive. If coming via the lovely country train to Bowral station, I'm quite happy to come collect you (in my eco-friendly Tesla performance electric car!), or drop you off if I am about. Feel free to ask - no promises, but keen to make it easy for you. The 815 bus goes from Boolway St opp. Woolworths, to right around the corner from home. Search TripGo for excellent directions. Cottage is fully self contained with three bedrooms. . The cute and cosy Cottage is suitable for six people ,has off street parking and well behaved dogs are welcome on approval. A home away from home, everything there you need , air conditioner, combustion fire, loads of wood to keep you warm, plus a Nova wall heater, comfy beds, electric blankets, Sheridan sheets and towels, beautiful claw bath to relax in with bubble bath!           The SpaceThis lovely cottage on top of a hill can comfortably sleep six adults in 3 double bedrooms. The master bedroom has a double four-poster bed, the other two bedrooms have queen beds. The large combined living and dining area, with slow combustion heater, faces north and east with lovely views. There is a lovely old upright piano if you like to tickle the ivories (tho its not guaranteed to be in tune!). The spacious modern kitchen with gas cook-top and granite bench tops adjoins the living area making entertaining a breeze, and ensures the chef is never out of the conversation! The main bathroom has both a shower and large claw foot bath and a second bathroom closely adjoins the main bedroom. The house is in a five acre house paddock set on a gently undulating 50 acre property. Sit on the verandah in the evening to watch kangaroos graze, and keep an eye out for resident wombats and even a shy echidna! Guest AccessThe whole house! Guest AccessOnce checked-in, you will have your own key and may come and go as you please through your own private access. You have access to the deck and garden exclusively during your stay. Interaction with GuestsYou are totally on your own, the space is fully self contained. You can come and go as you please. Room is cleaned and linen changed after each stay or weekly for long term stays. The NeighborhoodThe complex this apartment is in is extremely quiet. The other residents are all retired and no one has loud parties or makes a noise. If you are looking for a place to completely chill out, this is ideal. If you are a night owl and loud talker however, this is not the place for you. The owner sleeps directly above you and sound travels up and outside to neighbours. People in the complex are in bed by 10pm. If you book to stay and come in late from an event, please be mindful of this and keep your talking down and ideally TV's off or low so as not to disturb the owner or neighbours. Victoria's is not a hotel, it is an apartment within a private residence. Getting AroundVictoria's is within walking distance from almost all Bowral attractions. Just 850 metres to the main street and railway station. Other Things to NoteI will accept full time booking for someone who might need fully furnished accommodation for an extended stay while doing business in the area. The ANNEXE is a multi purpose sleeping entertaining space_thoroughly modernised. Recall the days when S Highlands was at least 3 1/2 hours by car across Razorback & the Old Hume Highway? Trains were a much better option with the really wealthy having a car in the town. HILLVIEW, Moss Vale was the country retreat of the Governor making the S Highlands just that little more le rigeur than the Blue Mountains.

            The SpaceThis cottage has been set up with our favourite pieces and collectables. It has been a dream to have a character filled cottage in the southern highlands. Walk to the village, there is so much to discover. We suggest relish from the little stirred shop, breakfast or lunch at the Magpie Cafe, Dinner at Josh's (bookings essential) or on special occasions why not try fine dining at Eshallot.
