The SpaceTulluc cottage is a unique holiday destination offering a secluded river outlook in the heart of Darlington Point village. Generally our guests enjoy the privacy of Tulluc Cottage, however we live locally and can be available if required. Tulluc Cottage is in the village of Darlington Point. It is walking distance to the general store, Heath's Family butchery, the Punt Hotel and an excellent Italian restaurant called Riverdestra. The local sports club runs a courtesy bus service, so you can leave your car at home and have a true holiday! Guest AccessThe entire house is yours to enjoy. There is a secluded garden with outdoor entertaining space and a salt water pool. Interaction with GuestsGenerally our guests enjoy the privacy of Tulluc Cottage, however we live locally and can be available if required. Getting AroundTulluc Cottage is in the village of Darlington Point. It is walking distance to the general store, Heath's Family butchery, the Punt Hotel and an excellent Italian restaurant called Riverdestra. Beach towels are supplied if weather permits for swimming. One Bedroom has a cot if required. Guest AccessGuest have access to kitchen area to make tea coffee or get a drink. Washing machine can be used if need to. All shared living areas can all be used, with consideration after eleven o'clock if I have to work AM shift and need to go to bed. Theatre room can be used till 23.00 hrs.. Swimming Pool is lit and can be used till 23.00 hrs. but no glass is allowed. Plastics are provided Interaction with GuestsWe would love to interact with our guests. Share a wine in the evenings and breakfast in the mornings, if possible. You will have to take us as you see us. Family members come and go. Both Ken and I have work commitments and I shift work. Prior communication will allow us to cater an activity for your pleasure and make your stay memorable ie farm visit , drive out the bush to the river. The NeighborhoodWe are passionate about the environment, and after dairy farming for over 30 years breeding stud Holsteins. We love cows. We had fun showing cattle with our children when they were young. We have many friends and family living around us and feel very fortunate that we get to live here. Getting AroundWe have a V Line bus that has a return trip from Melbourne to Barham. It stops in Gunbower once a day each way. We can pick you up. But reality is if you want to get around you will need a car. We can arrange a push bike for small outings but it has its limitations. Coming from the airport there is a number of routes which we can discuss if required

The SpaceThe property is set on three acres with ample parking and nestled amongst the gums on a quiet country road. This is a wonderful place for international visitors to come for a taste of rural Australia. The House consists of four bedrooms with queen beds and ceiling fans; two with views of the bush. The main bedroom has an amazing outdoor bath to reflect on the tree tops and deep blue sky or gaze at the amazing starry night. The fully appointed kitchen suits the most discerning home chef! A veranda, with two large ceiling fans keeping the area warm/cool and well ventilated, runs the length of the home where you can chill out or enjoy a gourmet meal watching the sun set over the bush. A stay at the Shearing Shed House, sharing the ewe-niqueness of the property with friends or family and taking advantage of all it has to offer, is an unforgettable experience not to be missed! Interaction with GuestsThere is a manager located on the property away from the house to help with any enquiries. The NeighborhoodRelaxing is what it’s all about, only 300 metres from the mighty Murray River for bushwalks, swimming or fishing or 3km down the road to the Torrumbarry boat ramp. Only 20 minutes from the Port of Echuca tourist centre. There are also many local wineries and a burgeoning good food trail. Getting AroundThere is ample parking on the property which is only accessible by car. Other Things to Note25 December to 1 January is a minimum 5 night stay. Easter a minimum 4 night stay and a Minimum 3 night stay over long weekends. 2 night minimum stay at all other times. Due to its location and that the house has a double steel insulated roof mobile phone reception is intermittent inside the house but fine outside.

The spacious design and the elegant yet casual dcor provide little reason for you to ever leave the property. There are three distinctive living zones that provide excellent entertaining options or if you are sharing the house with friends you can always find a place for some solitude. The property is configured with 2 indoor living zones as well as an outdoor expansive deck. Beach Haven is a fabulous property for those who want a beach side holiday yet who appreciate privacy, quality and modern living. Living & Dining Where should I chill out today? The choice is yours!! Beach Haven has many living zones to choose from. There is an open plan living, dining and kitchen area which expands into an enormous outdoor living zone opening via sliding doors. Drape yourself in the afternoon sun on the enormous rear deck complete with dining table and day bed. The indoor living area is decked out with ultra modern fixtures and furniture. There's also a comfortable separate living room. Both living areas offer a TV/DVD/CD, with board games, novels, cookbooks and magazines to help you wind down. It truly is a delightful place to relax or to catch up with friends and family. Another wonderful feature of Beach Haven is the sense of privacy it provides. The SpaceThe main bedroom has a double bed, rocking chair, loads of wardrobe space and room for an extra bed. The 2nd bedroom has a single bed plus a single sofa bed for you to make up if needed. There is also a single air mattress & port-a-cot available to make up also. Please return as you found them. That's 4 beds plus a cot available. BYO linen for air mattress. Outdoor setting is provided for relaxing in the outdoors. There is a laundry, with a washing machine & ironing facilities. There is a clothes line out the back. A bbq and gas bottle is available for your use. I ask that you leave it clean (or extra cleaning fee will apply) and advise me if gas is getting low. Although it is described as a unit, it is more like a villa. It has it's own private enclosed garden/yard plus courtyard. The only common wall is the garage so it is very private. Guest AccessYou can use any part of the house except inside the garage. Interaction with GuestsThe best way to contact me is via Air Bnb messaging. I don't stay on this site so it is all yours. I have left a folder with some info for visitors to Hay. There is a great Visitor Info centre in Hay, you can even get FREE bike hire from there. The NeighborhoodIt's a quiet neighbourhood with the most generous people I have met. It is across the road from paddocks so that is quiet and a lovely view. There's 2 supermarkets on the main road and 24 hour service stations on the highway. I recommend stopping in to any of these to get some fresh milk on your way. Computers are available at the Library. Free pools open at certain times of the year. Must see the sunset viewing area exactly 16km north from Lachlan Street. Getting AroundI walk everywhere in Hay. There's free bikes available from the Visitor Info Centre too. Other Things to NoteHay is a very friendly country town. I've never met friendlier people. Tea/Coffee/Sugar provided. BYO milk as there are so many options and preferences these days! Phone reception has been good here.

If you love peace, tranquillity and wildlife then this is the place for you. Abundant bird life and when walking along the banks of the Gunny Creek, you may spot a Wallaby or two. Paddock can also be used for motorbike riding for the kids. The Gunbower Creek is a great spot for fishing and in summer it is a popular place for swimming and water skiing. Murray cod, yellow belly and carp are often caught in the creek. Boats can be launched at the nearby boat ramp, which is just a five minute walk from the cottage. It is currently difficult to fish from the bank of the creek due to the large amount of water lilies growing in the shallow water. But we have installed a fishing jetty nearby to make it easier for visitors without a boat, to fish. Row boat, canoe and kayak are available for tenants' use at no extra charge. Kids life jackets are supplied. Push bikes are also supplied. We have good range of DVDs. Also a Wii console with a choice of 50 games available. Many hours of fun for kids. Let us know if you would like to have the Wii, so we can set it up before you arrive. The Gunbower Creek is lowered from mid May till mid August. This means guests can choose separate temperatures per room to ensure maximum comfort. The property is fronted by a large lawn area and is a short 60 metre stroll to the riverbank and a short stroll in the other direction to the shared resort style swimming pool, tennis court and the Deep Creek Marina Hotel (TAB, meals, friendly faces). The boat ramp is approx 200 metres from the property next to the hotel. Parking is available on site for up to 5 vehicles. Additional car parking is available in the overflow carpark which is a short walking distance from the property. The maximum occupancy for this property is 10 people.
