    The SpaceA large four bedroomed house, ideal for couples or families, located on Wallis Lake with direct access to the water's edge. The Folly has the most amazing views any time of the day. Ceiling to floor glass windows bring the outside into this modern, airy, comfortable and well designed home. The Folly's close proximity to the Green Cathedral and other wedding venues makes this an ideal spot when attending these celebrations. This house is ideal for couples, friends or families wishing to relax in a very peaceful setting. The NeighborhoodThe Folly is are surrounded by BOOTI-BOOTI NATIONAL PARK; an easy 3-hour drive north from Sydney between Forster and Pacific Palms. Made up of an 8km peninsula between the Pacific Ocean and stunning Wallis Lake, Booti Booti National Park was created in 1992 and covers 1,566ha of scenic headlands, beautiful beaches, refreshing rainforest, and 11km of estuarine foreshore right next to Forster. Getting AroundThere is a community bus but a car is essential. Other Things to NoteThe property enjoys direct access to the lake where swimming, boating, fishing, windsurfing, kayaking (2 available), or walking on the lake shore are all on offer. Or you could just relax on one of the decks and watch the pelicans and black swans swimming on the lake or the sea eagles soaring above. Surfing or swimming at Forster, Elizabeth, Boomerang or Blueys Beaches are only a short drive away. Tennis is available in the village and golf at Tallwoods, Forster or Tuncurry.

    The SpaceThe property is breathtaking and is very dear to us. We love sharing it and hope you have a great time. The highlights are the privacy, the spa, fishing off the jetty, the double showers, the kitchen is amazing and the BBQ is on the large deck. Guest AccessYou can use anything on the property. Interaction with GuestsThe property is entirely yours for the period of your stay. The manager is 5 minutes drive away if you have a problem. The NeighborhoodYou are on a 10 acre property with no close neighbours. Getting AroundYou will need a car. 4WD is not required. Other Things to NoteIf you are taking your dog up in summer please ensure that he/she is treated for ticks in advance. There are grass ticks in the long grass in the paddocks.

The Bed & Breakfast is nestled in the tiny hamlet of Green Point, between the gorgeous Great Lakes and pristine Ocean Beaches of Seven Mile Beach, beautifully surrounded by National Parks. We are situated in the Hamlet of Green Point, 15 minutes South of Forster and not serviced by Club/Hotel Courtesy Buses – approximate one way Taxi cost is $30.00 If arriving later in the evening, we would suggest that it may be more convenient to dine before arrival at Mansfield by the Lake, there are no shops available at Green Point..       The SpaceNew, 2 bedroom house that sleeps 6. Utilising a modern eco-friendly design, split over two levels at the top of the hill in Coomba Park. Wake up to Kangaroos in the yard, the glistening lake and the ocean along the horizon. 'The Cure' as the house is known was built by my Father and me as a family holiday home. It is a beautiful home in a beautiful place surrounded by water views and wildlife. The house is fully furnished and has almost everything you need for a great holiday. It is also an eco-friendly house; we harvest our own rainwater, have solar panels and a waterless composting toilet. Upstairs is an oversized bedroom with a queen bed and space to comfortably sleep up to four people (additional mattresses are provided, one queen and two single). Downstairs is a standard double bedroom with a queen size bed, spacious lounge, kitchen and bathroom. Large entertaining decks wrap around three sides of the house providing plenty of space to relax soak up the sun and enjoy the 270 degree views of Wallis Lake and the Foster/Tuncurry coastline. Guests have the use of the whole house and all inclusions, including linen. The large kitchen is equipped with everything you need, stainless gas cooktop, oven, all cooking utensils, 2 bar fridges, pots and pans, etc. The house has a sound system, tv, washing machine, BBQ, plenty of outdoor furniture and a modern bathroom. Fully equipped for holiday fun! Coomba Park is a sleepy coastal town with one local shop and very few people, the perfect place for a relaxing and private holiday. The house is 100 metres from Wallis Lake and a leisurely 20 minute drive around the lake to Blueys and Boomerang Beach. (Close enough that the Pacific Palms Rec Club courtesy bus will pick you up and drop you home). 'The Cure' was built for relaxation and is the perfect place for couples, groups and families to relax and enjoy this beautiful, secluded part of the Australian Coast. Downstairs has 5 bedrooms which all have views to Wallis Lake to the West - 3 of which open onto the child-friendly enclosed downstairs deck. The ground floor also has the main bathroom (with separate bath and shower), separate WC and laundry.       The SpaceQueen bedrooms with either en suite or private bathrooms. Breakfast in provided in the guests dining room or on the shaded verandas where the extensive garden can be enjoyed. Guest AccessGuests may use the property including the swimming pool. Guests have their own dining room for making tea and coffee or having a drink but generally your host Judy is ready to prepare all this for you. The proximity of the BEACH in just under a 2 minute walk is just brilliant AND Council ALLOW dogs on Beach - OFF THE LEASH!!! The times for this are regulated but they're fair to all! Getting AroundThere is a Bus Stop ~ 150 metres from the house but EVERYTHING is less than a 15 minute WALK!!!! The Golf Club across the road welcomes visitors as does Club FORSTER about 800 metres (5 - 7 minute walk) down the road - DUI is absolutely NOT a consideration HERE - YOU AND all the family can enjoy yourselves at an evening meal in either Club. The SAME goes for the Bowling Club but it's about a 10 minute WALK! All THREE Clubs are on THIS same Street, you can't get lost either! Other Things to NoteMy First Aid qualifications have lapsed but happy to help if necessary. I do provide a fairly EXTENSIVE First Aid cabinet. I do try to take myself to Newcastle to visit family for periods where guest stays allow BUT EVEN then I'm less than 2 hours away in the event of emergency.

There is a village shop which sells all the necessities, gas and fuel. The closest supermarket is in either Smiths Lake or Blueys Beach with Woolies and Coles being in Forster. If you want to purchase items en route (coming up from Sydney) advisable to purchase beforehand or in the supermarket in Buladelah (not 24hours). Minimbah has plenty of room to play with a large paved area under the house, an empty grassed block behind and open views to the hills in front. Minimbah, everything you could want in an affordable restful family holiday. Getting AroundYou need a car to get here - walk and/or cycle around the village and the lake and of course you can take your boat to Forster. Other Things to NoteClose to the fabulous surf beaches of Blueys, Cellito and Seal Rocks when you need a change from the lake. You have the use of the three canoes/kayaks which have paddles and lifejackets in the shed at the back of the house. They keys to the canoes and shed are kept in the pantry to the left. The local winery is Vila De Esta and Honeycomb Valley farm are both located across the highway about 10km from the property. There's a free courtesy bus service offered by the local Nabiac hotel that can be booked by calling Phil the bus driver on select days; His mobile number is in the house manual. Like many well established rural properties we have a few original work sheds that are weather beaten and dilapidated but add rustic charm to the landscape. The property relies on rain water collected and stored in tanks. PLEASE BE MINDFUL WITH WATER USAGE, it's in limited supply! Interaction with GuestsWe do like to meet and greet all our guests with a tour and welcome basket; fresh bread and milk, breakfast cereals, tea and coffee etc There is plenty of material at the property providing information on local activities and attractions. The Neighborhood20 mins from Forster/Tuncurry, well established seaside beach towns to soak up the sun n surf. 5 mins from the small township of Nabiac which has Australia's only Motorcycle Museum as well as a local vineyard and reliably good country bakery! The Greenhouse Cafe offering the best brekky, coffee and service around these parts. Dogs welcome outside. The local pub/restaurant has amazing food and good value. It offers a courtesy bus to collect you and take you home for free. Plus live music every other Friday. The Nabiac Farmers Market is held on the LAST Saturday of the month, at the Nabiac Showground Hall from 8am till 12noon. It is run by volunteers as a non-profit community event. Where:Nabiac Showground, Nabiac Street, NABIAC When:Last Saturday of each month. 8am Nabiac Farmers Market Very friendly and genuine locals, make sure you wave when driving past other cars in Miminbah it doesn't matter if you know them or not! Getting AroundMust have a car. Other Things to NoteIf you have a boat Tuncurry/Forster is only 12 mins, it's amazing fishing with clear blue water. We can additionally hire out a speed boat max 8 people, also have access to a fishing trawler max 10 people, amazing fishing BIG Snappers to be caught. On average it's about a 3 hour drive from Sydney. When you see the big Welcome to Manning Valley sign on the highway, make sure your not exceeding the 100km speed limit as there will usually be a highway patrol car sitting in the centre of the freeway. If your up early the Kangaroos are in the bottom paddock around the dams from about 5am, there can be 5-20 of them hanging out down there. If you miss them they reappear in the afternoon about 4ish, if you get too close they will eventually hop off but they give a good show. The only noise you'll hear are the native birds and the kookaburras get chatty during the day. If your keen to drop a line in the river you could catch some lunch; yabbies, bream and flathead are plentiful!

There is tea & coffee making facilities in the room, a television, a ceiling fan and towels on a towel rail. Guest AccessYou will be sharing the one bathroom (shower and bath) and two toilets with the household - myself and a 57yo male relative who mainly lives in the studio/granny flat out back. My front lounge room and office areas are for my private use only. Please feel welcome to use the kitchen, laundry and back sun room. I am happy to provide a shelf in the fridge and freezer if you let me know in advance your requirements. I am also happy to provide bread for toast with jam, honey & Vegemite along with cereal and milk for breakfast. You may also like to sit out in the back yard but you would be sharing that with my border collie/cross kelpie dog, Brandi. She is an outside dog and does not come in the house. There is room to park your car on our property so it is off the street, however, it is not undercover parking. Please pull in to the left hand side of the driveway. The NeighborhoodTuncurry has flat, wide streets and our location is mostly quite peaceful. It's easy to get to the beach, clubs, shops and cinema (10 to 20 minute walks) and we have a Woolworths that is about a 20 minute walk. Sip on wonderful coffee at the Rockpool cafe, or catch a movie at our local cinema. Laze on the dog beach, or stroll along the lake to Hamilton's for a quite one sitting on their lake deck. Catch sunset strolling over the bridge that joins our beautiful towns on the lakes of Forster-Tuncurry. Catch your breath on the other side at the Reef for a good feed whilst watching the world go by. Meander through Wharf street for more great coffee and eats plus fabulous shopping and gifts. Getting AroundWe have a bus stop just across the street near our home that can transport you to Woolworths, across the bridge to Forster and out to Stockland shopping village. Otherwise, bring your pushbike as it is great riding in Tuncurry; wide and flat!
