The SpaceThe house consists of 5 bedrooms, all en-suite, 2 lounges, 2 kitchens, a guest bathroom, a study, a cinema room and a double garage. Air-conditioning is installed in the majority of the house and security is excellent with very secure access and a permanent security guard stationed outside. A cleaner cleans the house on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.

The NeighborhoodAbout the location: Utterly convenient staying across the road from the spectacular Green Point Park and within walking distance to the famous Seapoint Promenade which in my opinion rank number one worldwide. The Promenade has everything for everyone, where you can see life in every aspect. Sometimes whales and porpoises frolick in the bay, pet owners converge on the dedicated doggie section, babies in strollers, walkers, runners, cyclists, all enjoying the fresh air and excellent weather and beautiful sunrises and sunsets. There is also yoga in the park and some serious body-building equipment. Like I said, something for everyone everyday. To the left and right of Odyssy apartment block you will find shops, delis, and restaurants for food funds with high quality pizza, indian, sushi and specialist burger outlets. The restaurants have the best age matured steaks and the seafood is fresh, local and portions generous. The variety and quality hard to beat anywhere else in the world, at very affordable prices. Getting AroundGreen Point is arguably the most hip and trendy neighbourhood on the Atlantic Seaboard side of Cape Town. It is littered with upmarket bars, restaurants, delis and cafés. For the sporty type there is a Virgin Active Gym across the road, a golf course within 10minutes walk, beach front promenade and the acclaimed Green Point Park. The Waterkant a.k.a "The Village" is a short stroll away as is the world famous Two Ocean Aquarium, the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront or Clifton Beaches. Apartment is a stone's-throw from the MyCiti bus stop so it's incredibly easy to get around Cape Town. Other Things to NoteCape Town is the quintessential melting pot: it is a city alive with creativity, colour, sounds and tastes. While walking through the city's streets and meeting its people, you will fall in love with its natural beauty, creative freedom and incredible spirit. The SpaceI am renting out my 2 bed 2 bath apartment. The second bedroom (which is available to rent)has a double bed and built in cupboard space. The bathroom closest to second bedroom has a bath and the other bathroom close to my bedroom has a shower. The apartment is less than 6 years old so nice and neat modern finishings. I will definitely guide you on what to do and where to go. And hope to have like minded and respectful people to stay in the space. If you traveling on your own I will definitely help you connect with others if that's what you would like. Its really central and walking distance to so much! The stadium is super close which is convenient when there are events on, V&A waterfront, the beautiful Greenpoint park, the famous promenade and loads of restaurants are all in walking distance. But that said it's still a nice quiet block so you can escape if need be. Public transport is right outside main gate in the forms of buses and our Cape Town taxis. Welcome to our spacious fully-equipped self-catering two-bedroom a between Signal Hill and the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront Shopping Centre Development in the vibrant suburb of Green Point and only minutes away from the centre of Cape Town and the FIFA 2010 Green Point Stadium. Situated in a quiet street, but conveniently close (walking distance) to excellent restaurants and upmarket grocery stores if you prefer to eat in. Also withing walking distance of the new Cape Quarter Centre for art, decor and good food. Each flat offers amazing views over the harbour, across Table Bay and up the West Coast of Africa. Your home from home is the ideal base to explore the beauty of Cape Town and its surroundings. Built in the 1930's and renovated in 2009 to maintain the original external character of the home but with modern clean crisp Scandinavian styled open spaces inside. We live on site and so are available to offer assistance during your stay. The flat is spacious (85 square meters/915 square foot) - and bright with natural light. The palette of the internal structure is largely white to highlight the original art. The spacious and fully equipped kitchen is open-plan onto the dining-room and lounge that leads onto a large balcony with spectacular views of the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront, harbour and the new Green Point stadium. The spacious main bedroom (two single beds) is front-facing with it's own balcony. The second bedroom (one double bed) is side-facing. Getting AroundThe MyCity bus service covers most places tourists would want to visit in the CBD, city bowl, and beaches. The bus stop is only 50m from the apartments. Exploration of the wine lands and Cape Point would require either a rental car or use of a tour operator.

The Space1 Double bedroom available with side sea views from the bed with built in cupboards, a desk and chair and a double bed to suit up to 2 people. The room itself is pretty simple but this accommodation is all about LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION. Please note: the apartment and bathroom are shared with me and my dog as we live here. The flat is on the Mouille Point beachfront, literally a stones throw from the sea and has gorgeous sea views from every room. Flat is fully furnished and fully equipped with all modern conveniences. The bathroom has a shower and a bath. There is no internet, but there is a cafe with free internet 100 metres up the road. The neighbourhood is a very upmarket one and has lots of restaurants and shops nearby. It is perfectly safe with neighbourhood watch patrols 24 hours a day I walk around at night and feel completely safe. The beach, walking on the promenade, grocery shops and the very popular Waterfront, Sea Point and the Cape Quarter are all walking distance. The beaches and city centre are all conveniently accessible by bus. Safe parking is available on the street right outside the flat. I am a great host, and will recommend places for you to visit, great local spots and events that most tourists don't get to know about in the guide books and will answer any questions you might have about the city and help you have as much fun as possible while visiting. I do have a medium sized dog who lives with me though so if you don't like dogs, this one isn't for you. He is perfectly house trained so doesn't mess inside, but he does get to sit on the furniture and so his hair does get on the couches and the floors. While I keep the flat very clean, dog hair is rather persistent so if you're a hygiene freak, this one isn't for you. Guest AccessYou have access to the whole flat except my bedroom. We share the use of the bathroom, lounge and kitchen. You are welcome to cook and do laundry. I work from home so I usually am around to answer any questions and chat about all things cape town. Bruno, my dog, will be here too. We are both very relaxed, friendly and easy-going. The NeighborhoodPossibly the most beautiful neighbourhood in Cape Town. Being right by the sea is magic. Outdoor living, running, walking, beaching are all right outside the front door. The sound and smell of the ocean is one of my favourites. Being able to walk/cycle most places is awesome! It doesn't really get much better than this. Getting AroundThere is safe on street parking right outside the block of flats. The mycity bus stops a few metres away as well as the hop on hop off tour bus. Walking is a good option too. Other Things to NoteI have lots of flyers, maps and books on cape town in the room to help you choose where to go and what to do. Am also happy to offer advice on what's not to miss.

The SpaceYou have an en-suite bedroom with separate entrance. The guest bedroom is furnished with a queen size bed, build in cupboard and desk to work on. You can help yourself to coffee and tea. And the kitchen is available if you wish to cook or make your own food. The ocean is a short walk(500m) and we are close to fantastic restaurants, V&A Waterfront, shops, pubs and downtown Cape Town. Public transport is a few meter away! We can pick you up at the airport for 30USD. Getting AroundWe are situated in Green Point!!!!!! 1. We can arrange to collect you at the airport, train station or bus station. There will be a cost of 30USD if collected from Cape Town Airport 2. Alternative - Take the MyCity bus from the airport to the terminal. Switch to bus 108 or 109 and get off at Hill. Cost is +- 8USD 3. Take a taxi from airport to Clyde Road, Green Point. Cost is approx. 40USD The My citi bus run a few meters from our home and is very reliable and convenient. If you want to use the MyCiti bus to get to us you can buy a card at the Airport terminus. At the Civic centre change to bus 108 or 109(Sea point) and get of at Hill stop. Walk back to Clyde Road(+-100 meter) Other Things to NoteGPS: When using a GPS to search for our address once you booked please remember to put in Green Point!!!! As there is two Clyde roads in Cape Town and can easily end up at the wrong one!!

The Space123 Ocean View Drive studio apartment is a newly renovated luxury self catering studio apartment, situated in wind free Green Point, on the slopes of Signal Hill, with magnificent views of the ocean, V&A Waterfront and the suburbs below. ACCOMMODATION and FACILITIES: (Maximum 2 persons) The apartment consists of a spacious open-plan bedroom with extra-length twin beds and 100% percale cotton linen. The dining alcove opens onto the private view terrace. The en-suite bathroom has a separate bath and shower and double hand basin. Top quality bath sheets and towels are provided. The adjoining toilet is separate from the bathroom. The fully-equipped kitchenette and all crockery and cutlery, pots and pans and kitchen utensils are of a high quality. There is a flat screen colour TV with all Satellite Channels: DvD and music system in the apartment. The unit has airconditioning as well as heating. W-fi Internet Access is available. There is a lovely swimming pool for your use as well as a small garden. The apartment has its own spacious private terrace with Weber BBQ. The SpaceIn 413 you will find: --------------------- * A small but very complete kitchen with quite a fancy oven / microwave combo unit, a dishwasher, stove-top Moka coffee maker, 2-plate stove and all the things you will need to cook something amazing. Also in the drawer is a full stack of take-out menus if that is more your thing, and there are tonnes of incredible restaurants that are walking distance from the apartment. * Wireless internet (unlimited and free) * Lots of maps and travel documentation on Cape Town. We love Cape Town and there are tonnes of wonderful things to do here. * An amazingly comfortable extra-length queen bed. We're not kidding. It might be the most comfortable bed that you have ever slept in. It is one of the first thing that anyone who stays in the apartment remarks on. * A little patio where if you look out to the left you see the ferris wheel at the V&A Waterfront with a splash of ocean behind it, and if look right you'll be looking straight at Signal Hill, the little mountain next to Table Mountain, that we're on the edge of. * A washing machine with laundry detergent. * A fairly large table that you could either set your laptop up and work at (like we do) or use for dining. * Loads of international adaptor plugs. * A hair dryer. * Multiple sets of bed linen and towels. * NO TV. We're not TV people. If you're staying for a longer time and a TV is really important to you, let me know because I'll put one in if it's for the right person. Scott is from Vancouver in Canada and I'm originally from Johannesburg in South Africa. We try to split our time equally between Canada and South Africa spending time with our loved ones so the apartment is often available. We live on the 4th floor. We're at the end of the row and there is consequently only one neighbour, and she is nice and keeps to herself. If you plan to rent a car, we can arrange a parking spot for you inside the building. But in our opinion you can do nearly all the things that you'd want to without having a car for most or all of your time here. There's a short term letting service in the building so if you'd like to invite friends over they could rent their own apartment in the same building. We have a big L-shaped couch and a double inflatable mattress and many a friend have crashed on them (sometimes for as long as two weeks!) and you'd be welcome to have friends stay over. But PLEASE NOTE: It's a studio, not a 1-bedroom, so you'll need to be comfortable with them as they'll sleep in the same room as you.

There is a large selection of restaurants and bars a walking distance away. We are also only 15 minutes from the CBD and various city mountains such as Table Mountain and Lion's Head. The urban park is open till 6pm and there is a virgin active gym 10min walking distance from the apartment. And the V&A / Harbour shopping mall is a 15 min walk or 2min drive. Getting AroundUber eveywhere. The apartment's location doesnt get any better for cost effective Uber usage. Alternatively, i recommend you rent a car. Street parking in front of security is very safe and recommended for daily usage but busy on Sunday's ~ but you may use the apartment's visitor's bay on weekends. The SpaceOur 3 bedroom, sea-facing Penthouse Apartment in Green Point, Cape Town is luxurious and has the comfort of a home away from home. This apartment was renovated and boasts the largest loft bedroom within the hotel with interiors specifically designed to express chic city living. The apartment is elegantly appointed with contemporary furniture and features Juliet balconies off the lounge and two of the bedrooms, offering spectacular 180 degrees views over the harbour, V&A Waterfront, Cape Town Stadium and Atlantic Ocean. The open plan living area is large and airy with a spectacular chandeliers hanging from the double volume dining area and a modern stainless steel and dark wood staircase leading you up to the master bedroom. The lounge area comprises of 2 couches and two occasional chairs providing seating for 8. It has a 40" plasma TV and a CD/DVD Player for your in-house entertainment. The dining room with the large dark wood round table also provides seating for 6. The breakfast/bar area adjacent to the fully equipped state-of-the-art kitchen offers guests the opportunity of grabbing a quick bite or entertaining guests to a sundowner with sweeping views of the city, the ocean and beyond. The large modern granite kitchen is complete with top of the range appliances such as fridge/freezer, microwave oven, stove/oven, washing/dryer machine, toaster, ice crusher, coffee percolator and kettle. This provides the freedom and ease to self cater or if you prefer to dine out, there are three restaurants within the hotel, or better still there is a choice of a number of quality restaurants within walking distance. The suite features three comfortable air-conditioned bedrooms with plush bedding for the most luxurious of rests. Other Things to NoteWe recently converted our second bedroom into a children's bedroom. There is a Mamas & Papa's cot/toddler bed and an IKEA daybed that converts into queen sized bed. Ideal for a family with 2 kids. We also have a moses basket for a newborn and all the other baby-accessories if required. This room can be converted back into a double bedroom or study. We have uncapped, fast internet. Our security guard, Antonio, is here every night between 7pm and 7am to walk you from your car to the door. There is one shaded, off-street parking behind an electric security gate.

          Split over two beautifully restored town houses, each decorated in its own African style, House on the Hill offers luxurious, intimate and affordable accommodation in Cape Town. We have doubles, twins, triples, family rooms and quads/dorm and each room has its own TV, safe, hair dryer,heater and tea/coffee making facilities. All rooms are en suite - bathrooms are separated by sliding doors. The upmarket deluxe 'Villa' rooms (RM 1-5 ) come with breakfast . RM 6- 9 is self catering accommodation only . There is a fully equipped self catering kitchen as well as a barbecue area outside in our green courtyard. WiFi is available in the reception/ lounge area and in most of the B&B rooms free of charge. Rooms are serviced on a daily basis. Triple rooms have a double bed and a single bed or 3 single beds and quad rooms have one double and a bunk bed. Fresh linen and towels are provided free of charge. Breakfast is not included in the online room rates, however we serve a continental breakfast for all B&B rooms from 8-10am including fruits, juice, jam, honey, cereals, selection of cold meats and cheese as well as rolls and the best croissants in town (we think :-) All rooms are non-smoking, but you are welcome to smoke in the garden. This confirmation email contains all your booking details such as the address of the apartment, contact details, balance due on arrival, and other arrival and departure instructions. 30 days prior to arrival, you must pay the rental balance. The payment method is described in more detail in your reservation confirmation email. Payment details You should pay the remaining balance by credit card, EFT or by telephone. Please note that payment by credit card incurs a 4% (Visa or MasterCard) or 4% (American Express) additional fee. Under certain circumstances, payment can also be made via bank transfer provided that: the corresponding net amount is received in our bank account 1 month prior to arrival (bank charges are paid for by the guest) we have confirmed reception of such amount in writing Cancellation policy All cancellations or changes must be made via email or fax. Cancellations or changes by phone are not accepted. The pre-paid booking deposit will not be refunded in the event of cancellation. In the event of cancellation of a fully paid booking (100% of stay) , there is a cancellation charge corresponding to the number of days it was made prior to the day of arrival: 30-89 days before: 50% of the total amount. Less than 30 days before: 100% of the total amount. In the event that the guest changes the dates or apartment, it will be considered a new booking and will be subject to the standard cancellation procedures. It is strongly recommended that clients purchase holiday cancellation insurance. Any cancellation, including force majeure, will be subject to the aforementioned cancellation policy. If Vacationista is not able to provide the client with the property that s/he booked, the client will be informed and will be offered a new property with similar features. If both parties are not able to reach an agreement, the client will be refunded the amount paid, subject to the following conditions: 100% of the rental amount before arriving to the apartment. The percentage corresponding to the days not used of the booked stay. Damage deposit Upon arrival guests will be asked to provide a damage deposit as well as a valid credit card number as guarantee for the apartment and its content for any damages caused. Please note that by accepting our Terms and Conditions you agree that any damages caused by you or your accompanying party will be deducted from your damage deposit, and that you will also be liable for any excess damages. Depending on the apartment, a damage deposit ranging from 200-500 euro will be requested upon arrival. This damage deposit should be paid in cash or by credit card. Please see your confirmation email to see which method of payment is required. Cash. All damage deposits paid in cash will be refunded in full at check-out, and following an inspection of the apartment for any damages. Credit card: All deposits paid with a credit card will be refunded to that same card used for payment made, between 4 to 7 days following departure into the apartment, and after inspection for damages. Arrival Preparing your arrival Please ensure that you provide us with your correct arrival time so that we can plan your check-in and keep your contact person informed of any changes or delays. Your contact person will have your contact number and email in the event that we need to contact you with regards to your arrival time. The arrival day You should call your contact person when you arrive at the airport (or 1 hour prior to arriving at your destination city in car) and they will inform you if you should make your way: To our office, where our check-in department will receive you and give you further check-in instructions, keys, and the address of your apartment. To the apartment, where our check-in agent will receive you and give you the keys, as well as further apartment information The apartment will be available as of 14:00h, however we will always try to accommodate clients arriving early if we possibly can. It is extremely important that we have your correct arrival time. You will be obliged to wait for your contact person and your check-in will be delayed if we do not have this information. Please remember we have a fee of R300.00 ( for arrivals between 19h00 and 07h00). This fee should be settled directly with the consultant on arrival in cash. Departure You should leave the apartment before or at 11:00. Leaving after 11:00 without prior authorisation will be penalised. If you need to leave the apartment at a later time, please ask if this is possible at check-in. We will try to meet your request if we do not have an early arrival the following day. If it is possible, you may stay in the apartment until 18:00 but this will be subject to an additional charge of 50% of the apartment rental price per night. Leaving any time after 18:00 will entail an additional charge corresponding to the full rental price per night of the apartment. On the day of your departure you should leave the apartment clean and tidy with all waste correctly disposed of. Please leave the keys on the table and close the door behind you after making sure that you have all your personal belongings with you and after ensuring that the main door to the building is not locked with a key. We can book a taxi prior to your departure if you request one in advance. Apartment cleaning The apartment will have been cleaned prior to guests arrival. Before leaving, the client is obliged to leave the apartment in perfect conditions, i.e. all waste should be correctly disposed of and the apartment tidied. If not, there will be an additional cleaning charge. The apartment will be cleaned on a daily basis excluding Sundays and public holidays. Cleaning fee is included in the advertised rate. Number and identity of guests The client should inform Friendly Rentals of the number of guests in the booking. Only those persons indicated in the booking made by the client may enter the apartment, unless an alternative agreement has been reached with Vacationista. The number of clients using the apartment should not exceed the number assigned to each apartment, except for in the case of infants under the age of two. Pets are not allowed unless permission has been specifically granted. Should the client fail to comply with any of the aforementioned Terms and Conditions, Vacationista reserves the right to ask the client to leave the apartment, and the client in question can not request any form of compensation. Conduct in apartments Loud music and parties are strictly prohibited. Guests in a Vacationista apartment should be aware that if loud music is played, or a party is held, and the neighbours complain and/or police are called, you may be immediately removed from the apartment regardless of the time, day or night. Noise regulations and respect for other residents between 22:00 and 10.00. We would appreciate your full cooperation in this matter and we hope you understand that these rules are necessary, as our apartments are located in residential buildings with people that have to get up early and go to work. The quiet time in the evening for the neighbours should therefore be respected. The client, on signing the contract at check-in agrees to behave responsibly and correctly on behalf of their accompanying party as well as themselves. If this person, or any of the accompanying party behaves in an unsuitable and incorrect manner, Vacationista reserves the right to ask the person and their accompanying party to leave the apartment. Furthermore, from that moment on they will have no right to future claims or any form of compensation. Finally, the client will lose all payments made including the apartment rental and the deposit.. May we remind you that on booking an apartment with Vacationista you automatically accept our Terms and Conditions, which we expect you to comply with. You will also have to sign these Terms and Conditions at check-in on the day of your arrival. Liability Neither Vacationista nor the owner will be held responsible for any direct or indirect damages caused to the apartment as consequence of use by the client. This includes damages, insurance, loss due to fire, theft, and misconduct. In the event that the client fails to comply with the aforementioned Terms and Conditions, Friendly Rentals reserves the right to ask the client to leave the apartment, and the client in question can not request any form of compensation. NUISANCE The Guest undertakes not to cause any nuisance to neighbouring occupants and agrees that immediate eviction from the Premises may be otherwise enforced by the owner/agent at the Guest’s expense. BREACH, APPLICABLE LAW, JURISDICTION AND LEGAL COSTS In the event of the Guest failing to pay the rental due hereunder on the due date thereof, or commit a breach of any of these terms and conditions, Atlantic Marina shall have the right to give written notice to The Client requiring him to pay the rental or remedy such breach, as the case may be, within a reasonable time, where after Atlantic Marina shall have the right to terminate the occupancy of the Premises by the Guest and to retake possession of the Premises without prejudice to any claim which Atlantic Marina or the property owner may have for rent and/or damages The Guest hereby consents to the jurisdiction of the Magistrates Court of Cape Town. The laws of South Africa govern this occupancy agreement. The Guest shall be liable for Atlantic Marina’s legal costs on a scale as between attorney and own client in the event that Atlantic Marina has to take legal action to enforce the Guest’s obligations hereunder. USE The Guest hereby undertakes and agrees that the Premises shall be occupied solely and exclusively as a self-catering holiday residence and that no business or profession shall be conducted therein.
