The SpaceThis is a converted farm shed, which has been lovingly and creatively transformed using recycled and reclaimed materials, including beautiful old windows and doors. There are three bedrooms which can have two single beds in each, and two of these can be seamlessly converted to king size beds. A very large living area has a wood fire, dining space, fully equipped kitchen, outdoor entertaining/dining space, pizza oven and BBQ. It is set amongst permaculture gardens, on a 160 acre working farm with walking tracks to explore and admire breathtaking views of the Kangaroo Valley. Broger's End is set on the Kangaroo River - perfect for swimming or relaxing by. An absolute haven for friends, families and the beloved pooch if you like. The Shed at Broger's End is accessible by a country road (unsealed but perfectly suitable for all cards) just a short 5-10 min drive from Kangaroo Valley town (6 km). No interaction, owners live elsewhere. Manager available if any problems or queries. Broger's End is located in the beautiful Upper Kangaroo Valley, which is far enough from the village to be very quiet and peaceful, but close enough to pop in for dinner at a nice restaurant, to visit shops, museum etc. The farm is along the river, with lovely views of the surrounding countryside. Getting AroundCar is the most usual way to get around the valley. Bikes are also very popular. The closest train station is Berry on the South Coast Line, 20 minutes from the farm. The SpaceThe Secret Garden Cottage is perfect for a romantic break for one or two couples and easily accommodates families. The Cottage has three bedrooms: a double bedroom downstairs and a queen bedroom and single bedroom upstairs with a trundle bed for either 1 adult or 2 children. There are 2 bathrooms, including a master bathroom with a separate shower and divine corner bath built for two. There are full laundry facilities in the outdoor laundry, including a separate shower and toilet. The laundry is made available for stays of 4 nights or more. The beds are made up with luxury linens, pillow top mattresses and fluffy quilts to keep you toasty on cold Winter nights. There is a wooden fire place with fire wood supplied to keep you warm during Winter and plenty of fans to cool you down in Summer. The Cottage is two storeys, with a living room on each floor, so there is plenty of space for everyone to spread out. Read a book in the rocking chair in front of the fire downstairs, while the kids watch a DVD or BluRay from our extensive movie collection upstairs on the brand new Sony flat screened TV. The kitchen is a delight for those Master Chefs, with a gas cook top, oven, grill and microwave for you to whip up some tasty treats. Alternatively, you could cook outside under the stars, with a BBQ and Pizza Oven out under the pergola. There is even a fire pit for you to build a fire and toast some marshmallows for dessert. Your accommodation is fully self contained and away from the main house giving privacy and tranquillity whilst enjoying the rural experience. Interaction with GuestsAs hosts we are available on a need by need basis whilst respecting the guests privacy. The NeighborhoodRural communal feel within a lush green environment , rolling hills and on edge of the escarpment with views to the Coast. (Maybe why Robertson was selected for the location of the movie "Babe", a perfect setting for the movie). Getting AroundVery limited public transport, own vehicle would be essential if you are to take advantage of all that is on offer in the area. Other Things to NoteWe are set on 14 acres which we share with 12 sheep, 12 goats, 5 dogs and 2 cats. If you are observant you may encounter some of the local wildlife. We are self sufficient in our water supply (rainwater + crystal clear, sweet drinking bore water), waste water management and through solar power we generate more electricity than we use. Our firewood is sourced from a renewable native forest supply. All proceeds go towards the rescue, rehabilitation and release of injured, sick or orphaned native wildlife in the area.

The Space Little Pig Creek is a low-tech house designed and run to be kind to the planet but still provides all the comforts you need plus more. The big open plan kitchen is fully equipped for major cook ups. There are two lounge areas; one is a sunroom and the other has a day bed and wood heater for serious relaxing. The spacious bathroom has a large cast iron bath that is big enough for two. You are assured of total privacy and can enjoy the whole house and acre of garden for yourselves. Your stay includes all quality linen and towels, a gin & tonic and nibbles on arrival and real tea and rainforest alliance coffee. There are lots of little extras to add to your comfort and experience such as a great selection of music, movies, cuddly throws, incense, candles, bubble bath and more. In the warmer months there are fans and a natural breeze way to cool you plus a large shady deck. In the cooler seasons the wood stove is ready to light and there are other heaters for supplementary heating. The atmosphere is relaxed but exotic, warm and inviting, a great place to just ‘be’ together. The décor is eclectic being influenced by textiles and objects collected from travels to Asia and beyond. The house is furnished with restored and recycled pieces which are full of history. Little Pig Creek sits amongst an acre of private lush gardens only 2km from the heart of the village of Kangaroo Valley. The outlook is rural and a bit wild. Kangaroo Valley is half way between the south coast and the Southern Highlands of NSW, Australia. Little Pig Creek is easy to find and a little over 2 hours from Sydney and Canberra. The SpaceThe EllK is a beautiful converted barn nestled between a natural rainforest escarpment & uninterrupted views of the Morton National Park in the majestic Kangaroo Valley. The house sits on 21 acres of bush which is filled with native wildlife. The exterior of The EllK resembles a giant black shipping container. Inside, the house is bright & inviting with colour & texture in it's furniture, rugs, lighting, artworks, books, sculpture & ornaments. The EllK is a 3 bedroom house (3 queen) with each room decorated with luxurious linens, comfortable beds & contemporary artworks. The living area of the house is open plan encompassing the kitchen, lounge & dining area… opening onto a timber deck with twin Weber Q BBQ's, outdoor dining furniture & seating to make the most of the valley view. Entertainment facilities include a Bose sound system, free to air television, as well as a huge array of films & television series provided in an iTunes library on an iMac which doubles as the television. The kitchen is completely stocked with all the equipment you would ever need to cook, roast or bake… with an Espresso machine, food processor, induction cook top, dual dish-drawer, convection microwave & Dualit toaster. There are also a wide variety of cooking oils, condiments, spices stocked in the cupboards. There is internet access via WIFI & a generous workstation/office space which can comfortably accommodate 2 people for those wishing to take a 'working' break. The house is heated by a wood burning stove which warms the entire house beautifully & there is ample split firewood stored just outside the door to keep it well stocked. Heating is provided in each bedroom should you require it. There is one main bathroom with a full size bath. In the garage, which connects directly to the house, there are front loading washing machine & dryer, as well as a second 'drinks' refrigerator. Also in the garage are basic gym equipment & a TRX suspension training system for any guests that wish to utilise these. EllK guests will be able to enjoy the entire 21 acre property. Internet access is available via WIFI connection, however there are data limits per booking. Any questions I am available via mobile for assistance. The Kangaroo Valley is a truly beautiful natural wonder just over 2 hours drive from Sydney or Canberra... where guests can embark on bush walking, kayak/canoe adventures on the Kangaroo River, cycling, horse riding, swimming at the 'flat rock' waterhole in the Upper Kangaroo River, visiting the numerous cafes, restaurants & shops in the town… or simply hang in the peace & privacy of The EllK. The EllK is a 5 minute drive (or 30 min walk) from the Kangaroo Valley Bush Retreat, which is arguably the most popular wedding venue in the valley. Access to The EllK is by car. The driveway is quite long which is what helps makes the property feel as private & secluded as it does. The drive into the property is steep in places & the road unsealed, so care needs to be taken if you have a vehicle with low ground clearance. We recommend arriving in daylight hours where possible. Not only is the house air-conditioned, it also benefits from a large double sided open fire place and a seperate single fireplace. The walls of glass offers a cosy but open space to enjoy the vast Kangaroo Valley view and surrounding escarpment and waterfalls. This contemporary home offers all that you require for a peaceful, relaxed stay in the country and is just a two hour drive from Sydney. Guest AccessThe decks leading off from the main living space creates a perfect backdrop for alfresco dining. Enjoy your meals under our grape vine covered pergola or perhaps in the sun drenched sandstone courtyard. The separate TV/Sitting Room with wide screen TV (pre loaded with an assortment of movies) and its own Jet Master gas fire is the ideal secluded, cosy space. This room also houses a double sofa bed and half bathroom for two extra guests. The four bedrooms are generous in size and are separate from the living area. The master room encompasses an ensuite and its own deck to sit and enjoy a glass of wine while taking in the views. The three remaining bedrooms are situated close to their own one and a half bathrooms. A portable cot, high chair and baby bath are available on request so that even our smallest guest is fully catered for. Our modern kitchen is fully equipped and will impress any creative chef. It includes a hot rock grill, four gas burner stove, microwave, fridge/freezer, oven and the luxury of a dishwasher, purified water tap and a Expressi capsule coffee machine (we provide a daily cup of coffee). The SpaceEveryone who comes in says "Ooooh niiice!". There are vaulted ceilings and nice art and furnishings and just about every room has floor to ceiling French windows or French doors opening out onto a terrace that surrounds the house and filters leafy light. The gardens and property feel very private because the way the house is situated gives lovely views and hardly any sense of neighbours. NOTE: Second bright cozy queen bedroom available for up to 2 extra people. The NeighborhoodThe house is on a quiet street on the edge of farmland, with a beautiful large pond a few steps outside my property (geese, platypus and ducks!). There are bunnies and parrots everywhere. The neighbours are friendly and wave as you walk by. The cows in the fields a couple of blocks away will often come close to the fence to say hello if you stop to admire them. It's a short 10 minute walk to the centre of the village through a small field and ravine one way, and a short 15 minute walk along the road another way. The village has great coffee and places to eat - and the local bowlo has a Thai chef who serves delicious gourmet food at budget prices. Getting AroundThere are buses - and a local taxi company - but other than that you need a car. Unless you want to arrange for us to take you to and pick you up from dinner in Burrawang or Bowral for a small extra charge. Other Things to NoteAt night you can hear the pond creatures croaking, quacking and chirping before they settle down for the night. The birds are lovely - and the garden is often visited by everything from rozellas to green parrots to black cockatoos.

The SpaceThe open plan living area has a king size bed beneath the stained glass window. There is a television and a good selection of quality DVDs, CDs, books and games, plus an additional sofa bed. The electric kitchen is fully equipped and the large blue gum dining table accommodates spread newspapers as well as breakfast, lunch or dinner. The bath and shower are fuelled by instant gas hot water and there is a gas BBQ on the veranda. The 5 metre high ceiling and tall windows give excellent light and the furnishings are unique - the bed and table being custom made, the pulpit has been incorporated into the kitchen with the large dining table opposite. The yard is enclosed to contain labradors and leap-challenged smaller dogs. There are vegetables and fruit trees which offer modest harvest in season and there is ample firewood for the combustion stove in winter. Guest AccessOnce you arrive, you could leave the car alone. It is a 3 minute dawdle to galleries, cafes, restaurants and The Friendly Inn. The pool and playground are over the road and the swimming hole below Hampden Bridge and the two canoeing companies are a little further. If you have a bike, there is a sealed path heading out of town in both directions. The golf club is about 5 kms away and Berry is 20 kms over the mountain to the east and Bowral 40 kms to the north. Quality linen and towels are provided and the kitchen has everything you need to cook with, except the raw materials of course - there are oils, spices, condiments and all the appliances. Interaction with GuestsPrior to arrival you will be contacted by a local professional managing agent, who will request a letting agreement be completed, and on arrival will provide directions and assist with local information and any other help when required. The NeighborhoodKangaroo Valley is a beautiful hidden gem about 2hrs south of Sydney, when driving there the views are breathtaking, the village has maintained all of its original rustic charm with a large selection of shops and cafe's. It is possible to hire a canoe and explore further up the kangaroo river, if your lucky you may even see a platypus, or take on one a local walks and learn about Australia's pioneer past. Getting AroundTo get to Kangaroo Vally is a 2hr drive down the Hume HWY from Sydney, it is also possible to get there on the Prices HWY, 2.5hrs, taking the Illaware HWY 48, just after Wollongong, which although a little longer offer some breathtaking views along the way. There are three bedrooms which can have two single beds in each, and two of these can be seamlessly converted to king size beds. It is set amongst permaculture gardens, on a 160 acre working farm with walking tracks to explore and admire breathtaking views of the Kangaroo Valley. Broger's End is set on the Kangaroo River - perfect for swimming or relaxing by. An absolute haven for friends, families and the beloved pooch if you like. The Shed at Broger's End is accessible by a country road (unsealed but perfectly suitable for all cards) just a short 5-10 min drive from Kangaroo Valley town (6 km). No interaction, owners live elsewhere. Manager available if any problems or queries. Broger's End is located in the beautiful Upper Kangaroo Valley, which is far enough from the village to be very quiet and peaceful, but close enough to pop in for dinner at a nice restaurant, to visit shops, museum etc. The farm is along the river, with lovely views of the surrounding countryside. Great location for a quiet break as a couple or with a group of family and friend. Makes an excellent base to explore the Southern Highlands or relax in the private surroundings of the house and garden. Lots of birds and other wildlife (including wombats) and great views of the countryside. Slow combustion fire to keep you warm in winter along with reverse cycle air-conditioner in main living area. Great kitchen and BBQ if you like to cook, or eat out at one of a selection of restaurants in Robertson village or nearby Burrawang, Moss Vale or Bowral. Please note : Minimum 2 night booking on weekends. Minimum 3 night booking during weekdays and long weekends. Robertson is located a 1 hr 40 min drive from Sydney in the NSW Southern Highlands. The countryside is characterised by lush green rolling hills. Whether you like lookouts, waterfalls and walking tracks, antiques and arts and crafts, browsing galleries in quaint towns, food or wine trails, Robertson is a great base to start from. There is a very well equipped kitchen inside and a barbeque outside. It is a great place for 4 couples to get ready for a Kangaroo Valley wedding, a venue for family or friends to get together for any outdoor pursuit you choose. There is an ensuite for the master bedroom, the main bathroom is a 3 way shower and bathroom and there is an outdoor hot shower and bathtub for you to enjoy under the stars or sit around the fire pit outside and chat. There is a 0.5 km walk on the property with many plants labeled and many fun objects placed along the way for the youngsters to enjoy finding. You can take an adventurous walk through the adjacent nature reserve to swim in the Kangaroo River. There is a 0.5 km native plant identification walk on the property for you to learn about some of the native flora. For those energetic souls, or those who love a casual stroll, walking to the Kangaroo River through the nature reserve provides for some very scenic bush walking through Scribbly Gum forest and dry creek bed (usually!) for a refreshing swim. We have just completed the hot outdoor shower and bathtub for your enjoyment. It is very relaxing and romantic to watch the stars from the hot bath tub or for a quick shower after a hard days enjoyment of outdoor pursuits.A ping pon g table, pool table and foozball table are also provided for your enjoyment. There is plenty of space for backyard ball games. We are keen to keep it rented and will do what we can to accommodate you. It is only 5 mins by car or a 20 minute stroll to Kangaroo Valleys boutique coffee shops and cafes, as well as interesting shops and galleries to browse. Kangaroo Valley is a cyclists' paradise. There are a number of excellent road and mountain bike trails to enjoy. Rent canoes to paddle the Kangaroo River or fish for carp and bass. Horse riding, swimming, tennis, golf, cooking lessons .......... Situated half way between the Highlands and the Coast, Kangaroo Valley is an excellent base for exploring these regions. The owners are usually on site, easily contactable and willing to assist you with any information you may need to make your stay more enjoyable.
