The SpaceYou’ll find rest as well as convenience to access this exquisite coastal and hinterland area.
Wander up to your abode along the path lined with bananas, papaya, avocado, fig, dragon fruit, galangal, frangipani, azaleas, roses and gardenia, meander down and catch the view of beautiful boulders beach.
Stepping over the little bridge you enter your private wing of the house into the combined space of lounging and eating. With a 2 seater lounge and a well-designed kitchenette, you have all you need to cook up a storm or heat and eat simply whilst lounging. Basics like premium tea, coffee and seasonings are provided, with mint for infusions greeting you in the garden by the bridge.
As you move from room to room, original artworks, from China, Japan, and your host, Suzie, catch your eye.
With a 4 metre high cathedral ceiling sloping down to the large bay window and bamboo floors, the light filled bedroom is a treat, furnished with a Queen size bed accompanied by a rocking chair looking out to your paved courtyard. A skylight provides you with a view of the night-sky, or cloud watching whilst lying in bed. Linen, including beach-towels, are supplied.
Natural floor surfaces of bamboo and wood are complemented with stone flooring in the bathroom and toilet areas. Rich green marble and cream travertine line the kitchen and vanity, and enhance the deep two person Mizuno Japanese style bathtub.
An assortment of books are there for the browsing, with wi-fi available if you want to be connected with your other life as well as a television.
Nature sounds of frogs, geckos laughing, exquisite bird calls, and the ocean are all background acoustics. Oh, and you might occasionally catch the neighbours chooks clucking, though fortunately there is no rooster that wakes us up!
If you would like to have access to massage/ bodywork, acupuncture or other health wellbeing services during your stay, or experience a Chinese or Japanese Tea Ceremony, chat with Vigi and he can tell you more.
