Access is provided to the whole house, except garages.
The house has recently been extensively restyled and renovated and presents as new. There are still a few details and items to add (aren't there always) and the gardens are growing and maturing into our vision and new era for this fabulously positioned property.

CHECK-IN and CHECK-OUT:
Check-in and check-out times can be flexible, when feasible, dependent on adjoining bookings and the need to prepare the house. Please understand that at peak holiday times, flexibility is very limited due to the need to prepare the house for others.
We will arrange to leave a key for you to provide maximum flexibility for your arrival time. A key to the front door will be stored in a lock box at the house. We will provide you a PIN code to access the key. Please return the key to the lock box after opening the front door. Additional keys, for day to day use, will be available from inside the house.
We do understand how precious pets can be regarded in families. We are ok with most pets, on site, but NOT in the house. There is limited fencing.
HOUSE FACILITIES and PROVISIONS:
The BEDROOMS are all provided with bed linen, pillows, doonas, blankets and throws, (wardrobe) hangers and towels. A baby (portable) cot and baby high chair is available on site.
The BATHROOMS are supplied with hair dryers and basic supplies for use, on site.
For the BEACH, several beach towels are available for use, off site, if required along with a beach shelter, insulated drinks carrier and picnic set.
The KITCHEN is very well equipped additionally, the pantry contains basic items, for your use, including:- Cling wrap, Cooking Foil, Seasonings, etc.
There is a small supply of non perishable, food basics including:- rice, pasta and some tinned foods. They are there for your convenience, if it suits, feel free to use them. We ask that, in turn, you replace used items with like, similar or equivalent items.
The LAUNDRY is well equipped and supplied with laundry powder and basic cleaning products for use, on site.
WIFI is available via a mobile modem. Please note, data speeds and volumes are NOT suitable for large downloads.
For Out-Door ENTERTAINMENT there is a fabulous courtyard with a dining setting for (at least) eight settings with additional settings and various locations for smaller, intimate outdoor dining, relaxing, in-shade or sun-baking. Access to outdoors is available from every room.
For In-DOOR ENTERTAINMENT there is, on site, for your use:
- a collection of DVD's and CD's;
- a collection of puzzles and games suitable for both children and adults;
- a collection of books both fiction and non fiction;
- an antique, upright piano.
HOUSE CARE and CLEANING:
We have, by choice, furnished and decorated the house with quality goods and some special items including art works and artifacts. We hope that you and your guests enjoy the atmosphere and decor provided, We ask that you, (and your guests), treat them respectfully and that you leave the house and facilities in good order and clean, including the BBQ.
If you there is a problem, or breakages, please let us know so that we can arrange for replacements, for other guests.
For convenient eating out, both the Bowling Club at Smiths Lake (Macwood Rd, Smiths Lake) and the Pacific Palms Recreation Club (The Lakes Way) provide good quality, bistro-style food.
Both the Bowling Club and Pacific Palms Recreation Club ('The RECKY') have courtesy buses that can pick you up and drop you off.

Pacific Palms are held on the last Sunday in the month, alongside the Pacific Palms Recreation Club, The Lakes Way.
Local homemade produce, fruit and vegetables are available along with local arts and crafts, imported items, plants, new and second hand cloth.
Opening times are from 9am to 1pm.

Williamstown/ Newcastle airport is a scenic 1 hr 15mins drive away placing Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, all within a 1 hour flight and well serviced to other destinations beyond.
(We recently made a visit to Melbourne. On our return trip, we flew into Williamstown and arrived home, in Smiths Lake, by lunch time). :>) Other Things to NoteA fabulous, hot and cold, outdoor shower (additional to the 3 indoor bathrooms) makes for an easy, homecoming and clean-up from the day's beach and outdoor activities.
An antique piano is available for fun for those that have the talent or temptation to tinkle.
