At the front of the house is a picnic garden setting, open barbeque and parking for 3-4 cars. Guest AccessGuests have access to the whole house, except for a store cupboard under the stairs and a store room for tools. Guests must respect the facilities such as spa and BBQ. Washing off make-up/tanning lotions before a spa is important, or the filters clog up. A fire is set inside for guests in winter; extra firewood is in the wood shed. The outside fireplace near the picnic area is for kindle only; chopped firewood is hard to burn and expensive, so guests should gather wood from the surrounding paths and forest floor. Fire restrictions vary; in warm or hot weather outside fires are usually forbidden.
