Our 14 month old daughter had so much room to run around was catered for with a fabulous cot, high chair and utensils which made our stay a lot more relaxing. The location was fantastic with views of the lagoon and wave pool. Our family found this a great way to spend the day. Also, I loved the beautiful 5 minute walk (if that) into the mall via the sky bridge and it was great that it was child and disability friendly. The facilities available within the complex were fabulous too. We frequented coffee club and walked across the walkway to the restaurants at the wharf and had a lovely meal at the Jetty Restaurant. Yes, of course! all family members are welcome in our apartments, we even supply pet bowls and bedding for them! As long as your pet is acustomed to inside living, we do not discrimiate. There is a lovely swimming pool, disability access with a lift and WI-FI, tea and coffee and basic breakfast supplies This is a city fringe apartment. If you're looking for a quiet country get away, this may not be the place for you. If however you're happy with street noises and the occasional rubbish truck or siren in order to be close to the action, you've found the perfect accommodation! There is a bus stop within 100m from your door however the city is only a short walk away. A cat lives in this apartment, so if you don't like pets, or if you're allergic this will be a consideration. Situated on the quiet side of Darwins CBD is "One Mile Apartment" which has panoramic views of Darwin City, Francis Bay and Fannie Bay.  We offer one private room with queen  bed, flat screen TV, air conditioner, ceiling fan, and a large wardrobe. Included is a seperate  bathroom. This top floor apartment (7th floor) has lift access, gated (keypad entry), NBN high speed broadband, and plenty of on street free parking. The large deck is perfect for relaxing, having a drink or just watching the sunset over the city skyline.   Continental breakfast will be available. One Mile Apartment is fifteen minutes walk from Darwin Waterfront,  Darwin City shops, restaurants, picture theatres, bus stops and pubs. It is easy driving access to Parap market on Saturday mornings, Nightcliff and Rapid Creek markets on Sunday mornings and the famous Mindil Beach markets on Sunday and Thursday evenings during the dry season. You can also take a day trip to Litchfield National Park or the Jumping Crocs on the Adelaide River. Shane 2014 The Block is a two story, coded tropical ‘donga’ in Dundee Forest, 12km inland from Dundee Beach (1hr and 40mins from Darwin). Downstairs is an open plan kitchen, bar and lounge area which opens onto the veranda. The kitchen has a gas cook top and microwave. All the other necessities like kettle, toasters, pots and pans are provided. On the veranda there is a barbeque and picnic table. Upstairs you will find a timber deck either side of the dorm style bedroom which takes advantage of the tree top views and breezes, surrounded by shade cloth. The bedroom has two comfortable Queen beds with a privacy curtain between. The bathroom amenities are simple, open air design and look out onto the native bush. ‘The Block’ Donga is built at the back of a 23 acre native bush block. There is plenty of parking space for cars and boats. There is a stainless steel preparation table by a large campfire circle and campfire wood provided. FISHING This style would suit those keen for a bush break or a simple, easy place to rest their head in between big days on the water. Within 20km there are six boat ramps to access a range of fishing territory. Access to the renowned Fog Bay fishery is 12ks by sealed road opening up a vast range of bluewater species and Barramundi in the nearby Finniss River.Mudcrabs and barra in upper tidal rivers. Access to the estuaries of Bynoe Harbour, for Barra, Salmon, Jewfish, Mudcrabs and a range of other species. Or the Freshwater Finnis, a picture-postcard Top End freshwater billabong packed with Barra and Black Bream, or the perfect place for a relaxing sunset cruise. Getting AroundBeing right in the middle of the Darwin CBD, you dont need a car. Darwin City is very compact, so you are never further than a 10 minute walk to shopping, restaurants, cafes, bars etc. Further out is the Mindl Markets, Casino etc, but public transport is 5 minutes and taxis are relatively plentiful and reasonably priced.                         The Sholly Shack is very much a laid back type of beach shack. It is "Rolls Royce" camping as it has ALL the facilities in place to make your time away an absolute pleasure. For extra guests we have an airconditioned Sholly Shed comprising 3 rooms(2 Queen beds and single bunks, sofas, fridge + separate loo and shower). POA and a maximum of $150 p/n The accommodation section is compact but an enormous undercover verandah is the centre of all your Dundee activities. You haven't been fishing, crabbing, exploring, sightseeing, relaxing or living until you have been to the Dundee Beach Sholly Shack in the Top End of Australia. The verandah overlooks a 6 metre pool which in turn looks over the beautiful Fog Bay. It is an easy walk down to beaches and a short 5 minute drive to the boat-ramp. The real beauty of Mermaid Circuit is the peace and quiet, being a little way from the "pub" ensures that you will not be bothered by anyone else. In "The Dry" its glorious blue skies and balmy nights...in "The Wet" it is magnificent, it is actually our favourite time of the year! But no matter what time you visit you will be able to have a "coldie" and float around in the pool knowing that this is definitely one of the best spots in the country. Our newly refurbished Sholly Shed is now a fully airconditioned 3 room accommodation. 2 queen size bedrooms and a lounge area with single bunks, TV, Fridge and separate bathroom/shower @ $150 per night. Dundee Beach, NT is world renowned for it's magnificent location and fishing opportunities. We had a huge wet season this year and the BIG fish are biting... Get there! Dundee Beach Accommodation.                           Stunning fully self contained apartment in the heart of Darwin City, everything you need is at your doorstep, Shops, restaurants, bars and clubs. You wont find a better location to explore Darwin and all it has to offer. If you need airport transfers be sure to let us know, Darwin is approx 12 kms from the city so around a 10 minute drive, walk to the Waterfront and enjoy a day there at the Wave pool, have lunch and a nice cold beer or wine at the Precinct, wander further down to the wharf and do a bit of fishing. Inspired by everything Kakadu, no expense has been spared, this is luxury living.
