The Space****There is no capacity to have more than two adults in this apartment. Guests must either be a couple or one single person. The apartment is NOT suitable for children. Intending guests MUST have a completed profile WITH personal picture (face) together with all verifications INCLUDING one offline verification (ie Drivers Licence or Passport) as required by Airbnb. We do not accept guests without this condition. No smoking, no pets We have a small (fully self contained) comfortable private one bedroom apartment which is perfect for a couple or a single person looking for a home for short or medium term. Entry is by private outside door and there is no access to the home proper. There is one large bedroom (airconditioned) with a double bed and a sofa and television. The bathroom is a generous size with full shower cabinet (no bath). A small but adequate kitchenette including microwave oven, benchtop oven with hotplates, and refrigerator adjoins a dining room with nice large glass top table and chairs. All dining and cooking utensils are provided. Outside the dining room you will have your own private terrace with small table and chairs plus BBQ. You will only have access to the swimming pool (pool towels are provided) by negotiation with the hosts. Please note: No glass or bottles in the pool area. Access to a washing machine is available. We provide a starter pack of condiments and breakfast foods, but guests are expected to purchase their own food. The apartment is 100 meters to the Crosby Rd bus stop (#20) to the city (4kms) in one direction or Toombul Shopping Centre (4kms) in the other direction. So please have a look at the Government Translink site for the 301 bus to get your bearings. The train station (Albion) is approximately 1.5km walk away. Access to Wifi is provided but guests are not permitted to watch/download movies, music, games, or use face time. Airport pickup/drop off may be negotiated for $25 each way. A taxi is normally about $35. Car parking is available on the quiet street (cul de sac). NB*** Guests who wish to check in BEFORE 12 noon/2pm are required to book the night before. The SpaceMy apartment is breezy and cool in summer with a kitchen flowing into a dining area and a roomy and comfortable living area. The living room has a nice outlook into the trees, and a small balcony off it. The apartment is on the third floor, which is also the top floor. I have a cute burmese cat, she likes to check out visitors to her home, so you must like cats. Unfortunately I am unable to accept children. Guest AccessThe room is equipped with a queen size bed and a large built in wardrobe. There is a shower over bath in the bathroom. The laundry is in the bathroom, so I may have to access the bathroom to do washing, but apart from that, you will not be sharing the bathroom with anyone else. Tea and coffee are provided. Feel free to make use of the fully equipped kitchen and basic cooking supplies (herbs, sauces, oils). Interaction with GuestsI'm happy to have a chat when you are around, but I'm also happy to respect your privacy. The NeighborhoodClayfield is a quiet, safe suburb with lovely heritage houses and leafy streets only 7km from the city. There are plenty of great cafes and restaurants close by. There is a good selection of grocery and fruit and veg shops as well as cafe/takeaway options within a few hundred metres of the apartment. Toombul shopping centre is nearby, and the Albion entertainment area, with bars, restaurants and an awesome bakery, is a short drive. Getting AroundIf you're driving, the airport is less than 10 mins drive from my place. The city is 20 mins and the Gateway motorway (to the Sunshine Coast and the Gold Coast) is less than 5 mins. Under cover parking is available. Buses to the city are only a 2 minute walk away on Sandgate Road. Eagle Junction train station is a 5-10 minute walk, and the trip to the city is 15-20 minutes by bus or train. The train to the airport is 7 mins and costs $17.50 per person. A taxi to the airport is around $30 and Uber is around $18. Other Things to NoteCheck in/out times are flexible if there are no bookings immediately before or after yours.

The new 5 Star Emporium Hotel dining and shopping precinct is an easy walk, with cafés, restaurants, department stores and fashion outlets. Getting AroundThe city bus stops at the door, only minutes to Chinatown, the CBD and Queen Street and the South Bank Parklands, Museums, Art Galleries and Convention Centre. Airport shuttles are available which deliver and collect from our door. Other Things to NoteLocation and access are really excellent. We live in a nice suburb in the north side of Brisbane (Clayfield). Our apartment has 3 nice bedrooms, a spacious living room where you can enjoy watching TV or Foxtel. A great kitchen with a brand new fridge and dishwashing machine. There are two balconies where you can enjoy the view and maybe sit and enjoy a meal if you like outdoor areas :). About your room: Double bedroom, Queen size Bed, ceiling fans, Builts inn, Book shelve unit, nice tiled floors. Transport is very easy here: Bus stop at the corner of the apartment (306/322/315). the bus takes 15 mins to get to town and Train (Eagle Junction station) 5 mins walking, which takes 10 mins to get to central station. Clayfield is a very nice and young suburb with plenty of shops around. Close to pubs and shops on Sandgate Road, 5 mins away from Toombul shopping center. we are also a short journey to Racecourse Rd with a lot range of restaurants and pubs. About us: I am a single mum (33 years old) working full time as accountant and my daughter, she is 16, goes to high school and is in year 10. We are very easy going, we are friendly, respectful and organised.

The SpaceQueen size bedroom positioned under our family home down a few flights of stairs. You have a large ensuite bathroom with a small entry way to separate them. Fresh linen and towels are provided. There is a desk and tv with Foxtel provided. There is an additional room next door that has a couch and table along with a small fridge, kettle, induction cooker, toaster and microwave. This room is air conditioned. Both rooms have ceiling fans and Windows that look out over the yard and swimming pool. We have available a single fold out bed and portable cot if you need them for children. Tea and coffee is provided along with milk and some cereal. Free wifi available. Directions are provided if we are not available. The NeighborhoodI love the location, we are a short drive to everywhere and busses are only a short walk away. It's a quiet and safe suburban neighbourhood full of families. We have kids living either side and a child ourselves so there is always a little noise around the place. Parking is available on the street but is never an issue. It is a little hilly walking around as most of Brisbane is so bring some walking shoes. We are close to eat street markets, Portside restaurants, racecourse road, the two race tracks and the famous breakfast creek hotel. Your space is down a few flights of stairs and below our home so you will hear some noise from our day to day life. Getting AroundThere is a bus a short walk away and the ferry is a 20 minute walk away. Albion train station is also a 15 minute walk. We have plenty of on street parking for those of you with cars. The airport is a 20 min drive in all traffic! The Brisbane ferry to the city can be caught from Brett's wharf about a 15 min walk. Other Things to NoteWe have a 2 year old daughter, she is great but sometimes acts her age! Let me know your milk of choice before you arrive. There are 3 flights of stairs to get down to the room. We also work so are in and out all the time. Directions will be left if we are not able to greet you.

We are a middle aged couple, part time workers with two adult children (23 &25) still sharing our home. We have had guests sharing our house for 2 years now. We enjoy meeting and sharing with them. The room available is the downstairs bedroom with queen bed, bedside table, desk, bookcase and large built in wardrobe. There are two bathroom/toilets one upstairs & one down. Trains arrive to Albion and Eagle Junction stations which are both approximately 800 metres away. Uber X is always available and can cost from approximately $10 to the city and $15 to the airport. Taxis are also another reliable however more expensive method of transport. Other Things to NoteAs with many units so close to the city there is some slight traffic noise during the day however this largely dissipates later in the evening.

The SpaceBEAUTIFUL APARTMENT CLOSE TO EVERYTHING We have a beautifully appointed and decorated apartment located central to the city (15 min drive) and Brisbane airport (15 min drive) in one of Brisbane's blue-chip suburbs. ABOUT US We have recently moved out of the apartment, leaving it to our guests to have to themselves. I do however teach in the study (opposite the bathroom) on Monday and Wednesday from 3 - 7pm. Gareth and I will never stay overnight during your stay, and my interaction with you will be limited during my teaching hours. APARTMENT FEATURES -The apartment has ceiling fans throughout. -The apartment is spacious with clean tiled floors (no carpet). The apartment has ALL modern appliances, including: - Washing machine - Dryer - Dishwasher - Huge fridge BEDROOM The guest bedroom is large with Queen size bed, heater, ceiling fan, bluetooth speaker for your smartphone, MP3 player or iPod. Ironing board, and iron and some wardrobe space. The sunroom has a single daybed for the third guest. This will only be made up as a bed if a third guest is registered in the booking. INTERNET -WiFi is also FREE and accessible. We just ask that it is not used for downloading Movies/TV etc . KITCHEN Has MANY appliances, and is available for your use. Feel free to use it as you wish, making use of all utensils and appliances. We just ask that you clean up after yourself or place dirty dishes etc in the dishwasher etc). BATHROOM The bathroom has a 1.4 x 1.4 metre bath with rainfall shower head, everyday essentials - shampoo/conditioner/soap, and hair dryer, while the laundry attached has a front loading washing machine and clothes dryer. PEACE AND QUIET Neighbours are very quiet as is the general neighbourhood. Tea and coffee is provided: plunger and stove top espresso NO SMOKING INSIDE OR PETS ALLOWED NO PARTIES Guest AccessEverything - laundry, kitchen, dining room. The place is yours for the duration of your stay, so make yourselves at home! Interaction with GuestsWe no longer live at the apartment, but will try to make sure we meet you on the day of checking in to help you settle in...or we may schedule a quick meet up time with you if you are there for a longer stay. We are happy to chat and offer advice regarding our sunny city. Most of what we know will be written in the folder in your room, but don't hesitate to ask with a short message. The NeighborhoodThe best part of our area are the tree lined streets. And that the best bakery in Brisbane (French sourdough patisserie) is a 10 minute walk away! Its called Brew Bakers, and it's open Tuesday to Saturday. Closer to home on Sandgate Rd is 'My Mistress' a cafe that does amazing coffee, breakfasts and lunches. Definitely worth it! On the corner of Sandgate and Oriel Road is a traditional german bakery with amazing sandwiches with great bagels. Coffee available. The Sushi Train there is very high quality, and very busy! There's a convenience store too. A Mexican/Indian restaurant -Turbans and Cowboys at Albion is great too. Very good (URL HIDDEN) awesome Lamb Korma! It's at the corner of Sandgate Road and Albion Rd. It deserves a larger patronage. Getting AroundPublic transport is great from our place. Get a pre-paid 'Go Card' from any train station or major bus station to make public transport cheaper and easier. The Bus stop at end of street can take you to the City Centre, New Farm (James Street), Fortitude Valley and Southbank Cultural Precinct in 15 minutes. Bus going in other direction can take you to a very large and convenient shopping centre (Toombul Shopping Centre) with cinemas, ALDI, Coles (food store) in about 10 minutes. Bus numbers are 322 and 306 in both directions. Albion Train station will connect you to Sunshine and Gold Coasts in approx 1 hr. If 2 or more are travelling to the airport - take a taxi/cab...or try UBER, its available in Brisbane. A cheap and easy way to see the best of Brisbane is a ride on the City Cat ferries. Normal public transport prices for a million dollar view. They leave from Brett's Wharf stop at the end of Racecourse Road. Other Things to NoteOur unit is very popular - don't hesitate booking or waiting to decide as you will probably miss out. :)) We really appreciate if you are careful with your bags and luggage on arrival and departure. Try your best not to damage paintwork or walls with suitcases. We do understand normal wear and tear though.

However, apart from the airportline public transport in Brisbane is very affordable. Other Things to NoteThere are two visitor car parks available for the block of 6 units. Usually you can get a visitor car park or just park in front of my car. There is also free parking available less than 100m away along the side roads. The apartment is located on a busy road, super close to public transport and some shops. Furthermore, it has new noise-canceling windows that block most of the traffic noise.

You might be visiting to settle the kids into one of the many private schools, which are also walking distance, as are numerous medical centres. The Royal Brisbane Hospital is a 10 minute drive. If you are here on business or a tourist wishing to see our beautiful Brisbane welcome and after a Queensland experience Clayfield's a great place to start. Getting AroundChristian Street is 200 metres from the 320 and 306 buses which take you direct to the city or north to more shopping. Eagle Junction and Wooloowin Rail stations are a 10 to 15 min walk. Both are on the main north south line connecting with the airport, the CBD and the Gold Coast. A taxi from the airport costs approximately $25, cheaper from the International terminal. There is unrestricted street parking if you have your own car. A five minute drive will take you to Hamilton Harbour with lots of restaurants, boutiques and bars. On Friday and Saturday nights there are also the Eat Street Markets which offer a wide variety of cuisines from around the world from little street stalls where you can eat and drink casually enjoying a fun and vibrant atmosphere. Every Sunday enjoy walking to Eagle Farm Sunday Markets, Brisbane's best including great food, produce and fresh food. Getting AroundBus and train access within walking distance. Fluffy down pillows and pillow-top mattress accommodates 1-2 people in blissful comfort, with TV, DVDs and books in room. Blockout blinds to cover jetlag! The second bedroom also has access to the sunroom with a couple of easy chairs, an extremely comfortable double bed with pillow-top mattress feather doona & pillows, and comfortably accommodates 1-2 people. Ceiling fan and blockout blind ensure a blissful night's sleep!     The SpaceThis place is really all about convenience and location. Brisbane City can be an expensive place to get around in, so we found that by living closer to the Airport and the CBD we cut down on a lot of travel expenses. We both have family on the Gold and Sunshine coasts so living in Hendra has allowed us to easily zip down the highway after work and see our loved ones. Guest AccessGuests have access to the top half of the house (3 bedrooms) and one car parking space out the back. We live downstairs when we are home. Joe and I love to travel so we are often staying in other Airbnb's (Love you Airlie Beach!). We are unable to put a washing machine in the house as yet (the plumber is still thinking about that one). There are two local self-service laundries for your convenience: - Eagle Junction Laundromat at 304-306 Junction Rd, Clayfield QLD 4011 - Clayfield Laundomat at 537 Sandgate Rd, Clayfield QLD 4011 Please also be aware that this accommodation is upstairs. You will need to go up 26 stairs to access both the front and back doors, so this place wont be suitable for people with special accessibility requirements. Also, you will need to step into the bath, which is a shower-in-bath setup with no hand rails etc. I say this as I have a very cool brother who lives in a wheelchair and I wouldn't even try to get him up those stairs! Interaction with GuestsWe are close to Portside cruise ship terminal, the Doomben Races, Fortitude Valley and the Brisbane River. Other Things to Note** We have reduced the rate for this house, from $185/night to $100/ night (varies according to season) and we now include breakfast - cereal & toast, tea and coffee. We spent two years preparing this old house to be available for you to use, and just when we started advertising they started building some houses across the road from us. From time to time you may hear a truck come and go, but we aim to keep you as comfortable as possible during this time. Just so you know, once the building has finished we will be increasing our rates again. Get this into this great location while you can!!**

Unit is located on the third floor, set back from Sandgate Rd and surrounded by trees which makes the space feel light, breezy and quiet. Polished concrete floors add an industrial touch however the unit is brightly decorated with fun features such as the astro-turfed balcony and beautiful wall hangings. Guest AccessWe rent out the apartment while we are travelling so can only rent the apartment during those times. Keys and check in times can be flexible but need to be arranged in advance with us. The privately owned airtrain is quite expensive and costs $17 per person to the closest train stations Albion and Wooloowin. However, apart from the airportline public transport in Brisbane is very affordable. Other Things to NoteThere are two visitor car parks available for the block of 6 units, however these are often full so we recommend parking across the road behind the shops. The apartment is located on a busy road, with a bus stop just outside the door to whisk you away to the CBD or Fortitude Valley (inbound) or Toombul, Chermside or Sandgate (outbound). Albion and Clayfield train stations are both a 10 minute walk away.
