Would you like to stay in a home that has been purpose built for the short term visitor looking to enjoy Brisbane in comfort, style and not so pricey?
This duplex offers City convenience in comfortable modern surroundings just 3 kms from the CBD are perfect for up to 6 people each side. Rent one, or both. You can bring pets, subject to approval.
These duplexes have modern fit-outs and are designed for comfort. Each of the 2 queen bedrooms has an ensuite. One ensuite has 2 way access and one has a full sized bath. Each bedroom also has a door going through to a sleep out, (for non-Queenslanders, that means an extra room that's not quite as big as a bedroom!), each with a either a king single bed or a day bed/futon - a total of 6 people can occupy each duplex. If you're not using the sleep outs as bedrooms, these are extra living areas or storage. (NB self-contained studio apartments to be built under each side early 2016)
The living areas are beautifully furnished and are pleasant and open, and come with TV and DVD and Wifi and Foxtel included. Sliding doors take you out to the covered pergola with barbeque and outdoor seating. Your backyard is private, and if you are renting both duplexes there is a connecting gate which can be unlocked.
The back garden and side areas are fully fenced for children and pet safety.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need, and excellent quality appliances.
Each side has its own washing machine, dryer, outdoor line, iron etc.

This townhouse is accessed via the White side (left) pathway taking the landscaped broad steps to the rear of the property. Entry is via keypad at back door. (NB do not use side stairs).
This townhouse has been decorated in the warmer colour palette of beige with red and orange accents.
SYBIL - Sybil - polite to guests, bit lazy - just as a holiday should be.
This townhouse is access via the Grey side (right) pathway taking the steps up the side of the building. Entry is via keypad at front door.
The décor used is the cooler colour palette of whites with aqua and lime accents.

There is room for 1 car per townhouse off street (also 1 car space per studio). Street parking is free, but the street is narrow.
AUCHENFLOWER / TOOWONG
The western suburbs are the place to be.
Auchenflower is a trendy area, mostly home to young professional families and city workers. The area features some of the best examples of grand Queenslander homes and also some original workers cottages, now revamped as inner city pads for the young and young at heart. The streets are leafy, the architecture diverse and interesting, and it is considered a very safe place to walk.
Auchenflower is the perfect location for Suncorp Stadium (Lang Park) attendees, to watch visiting teams succumb to our local sporting heroes and have somewhere magical to return to relive the event. Handy base if the city, Wesley Hospital or University of Queensland are among your visit sites.
Nearby, Paddington, Rosalie and Milton boast some of the most fabulous cafes and restaurants Brisbane has to offer. Buses leave every 10 mins or so to the city and Fortitude Valley, from 300 m away. Alternatively, Auchenflower train station is a ten minute walk.
The Brisbane Botanical Gardens is only a three minute drive (2km) away, and is a stunningly beautiful location for a picnic or walk through the 56 hectares of gardens. One of the top 3 Brisbane visitor sites is just up the hill. Mount Coot-tha offers an impressive panoramic view of Brisbane and is a great spot for a bite to eat, either at the cafe or Summit Restaurant.

They have stripped it back to it's bones and rebuilt with you in mind. The family business is holiday homes, so that's what they have created.

Their parents Tim and Jenny, own and operate Lambert House and Carrington Manor and have been in accommodation for 24 years. We will be working as a team to maximize the number of guests we can host. So please let us know your numbers and dates, we can usually juggle things to ensure everyone is happy.
