The SpaceJollity Farm is a 10-acre property with a lovely, restful outlook set in amongst the hills of Glen Aplin. We have a small vineyard, three mischievous cows, geese, chickens, bees, and a friendly farm dog named Bacchus.
Your self-contained accommodation is in our American style barn. You'll have 2 comfortable bedrooms (one twin and one queen), a cosy lounge and TV area and full kitchenette facilities with gas cooker, microwave, fridge, pots, pans, cooking utensils and a coffee maker. Breakfast provisions (including our farm-fresh free range eggs, home made jam and homegrown honey) and staples such as tea, coffee, and milk are complimentary.
There is one bathroom with a big, deep bathtub (with a hand-held shower) for a relaxing soak at the end of the day. Blow dryer, towels and toiletries are supplied for your convenience.
Fans are provided for summer days and winter nights are warmed by gas heating and a wood fire. Guest AccessYou are welcome to roam the vines, have a relaxing meander through our little lavender patch, or you may choose to sit quietly and enjoy the view.
If you feel you would like to chill out with the chickens, gossip with the geese, or commune with the cows, Cyd will be happy to give you an escorted introduction to our menagerie.
Because there is no light pollution here you'll find the night sky phenomenal! Grab a blanket, pull up a chair, tilt back and enjoy! Interaction with GuestsCyd is your host and will be there to greet you on arrival and get you settled in. We always seem to have a project on the go or work to do around the property but, more often than not, will be around if you have any queries or concerns or, perhaps, just want a bit of a chat about the district and life on Jollity Farm. The NeighborhoodThe Granite Belt is a popular tourist destination for hikers, bikers, foodies and wine lovers especially during our cold and frosty winter days. The Girraween National Park with its hiking trails and monoliths is just a short drive away as are the many award winning wineries so if you are a walker, hiker, climber, or wine taster there is a path, hill, mountain or vineyard to suit you.
If you are a cyclist you may like to ride the 34 kilometre Granite Belt Bike Trail which begins in Stanthorpe and meanders through country roads, directly past Jollity Farm, and on to Ballandean in the heart of wine country. If you choose not to bring your own 2-wheeler, bike hire can be easily arranged.
Essential services, wifi stations, gift shops, clubs, pubs, medical facilities, golf course, etc. are in Stanthorpe, just 10 minutes away.
