On your doorstep there are olive farms, bushwalking, restaurants and plenty of sightseeing to keep you entertained. Mountview Wines' cellar door is just walking distance from the cottgae, The winery is one of the oldest and most historic of the district, and is the makers of the popular drop, The Bloody Good Red. The property is 40 acres and overlooks both the Vineyard and valley. At sunset native kangaroos play around the vines to the delight of visitors. While the accommodation is basic farm stay accommodation you will have your own bedroom , bathroom and a shared kitchen. The house also has a large covered deck area with webber BBQ at your disposal. Your stay could include hands on experience in a working Vineyard and Cellar Door. The winery regularly hosts live music, karaoke and trivia nights and guests would be able to participate in all the festivities.     The SpaceWe have 37 acres for you to explore and enjoy. This property is the Granite Belts first disc/frisbee golf course. Granite Mountain Disc Golf course is ready to play, and ex lusively available to our air bnb guests...for free! There are discs to borrow, and most days Nathan is available for a round at 4pm, other times MAY be possible too. You can also feed our resident cows, Holly and Paige or horses Pippa and Ellie in the paddock...they love a pat and a chat. Feed the chooks, check for eggs, or just take in a hike up our own private mountain. We have 3 dogs - Zoe, Franklin and Tyger. All 3 are more likely to lick you to death then bite. They all love a cuddle and a belly scratch any time you wish to give one. Franklin is also our unofficial mountain guide, take him for a walk and he will always find a way home. We also have an xbox/blu ray player available for guests, with a selection of games and movies on hand. Winters here, so the fire is on...heaven on earth. There are areas on the property with rock seats or bench seats they can choose to have there own time. The NeighborhoodWe are 3 minutes from a service station/McDonalds. JJs Asian is close by as well and highly recommended. 5 minutes from stanthorpe town. Varias, the wine college, is roughly the same distance and a great spot for an amazing lunch...book on weekends. Access to lots of wineries and the fruit run where you can navigate yourself. Plenty of local wineries. Locally made cheeses and always something on or to see. About 30 minutes to girraween national park for hiking and many photograph opportunities. Our neighbours are fantastic and you will find people to be very friendly and welcoming. Getting AroundMcDonalds/Petrol is 3 minutes from the driveway, town a further 2 minutes from there! Public transport is taxi only so you do meed a vehicle. Other Things to NoteOur horses - Pippa and Ellie - are friendly but not rideable. Stay around the head and never near their back as they will kick. Our cows - Holly and Paige - are shy and not use to small children but they all love a carrot or apple treat. We are fine if you feed them. Our chickens are fast, access the coop and close the door behind you. So if you want to go hold one and look for eggs thats fine.

    The SpaceThe Ironbark Hut is a basic and cosy timber cabin, with rustic features alongside modern touches for added comfort. It is ideal for families or two couples with one bedroom, as well as a pull-out sofa bed; ideal for teenagers, children, or another couple, it is able to be separated with curtains for privacy. There is also a loft with 2 single mattresses suitable for older kids. The hut also features a self contained kitchen complete with cooking utensils as well as gas fridge and cook top and BBQ outside. All linen is provided. The bathroom includes a toilet, sink and bathtub with shower. Please note - this cabin is eco-friendly with a low carbon footprint. The hut runs on 12v solar with only one power point, so you won't be able to plug any large appliances in, but you may charge phones and there is a small stereo player with radio and bluetooth connectivity. The small, yet efficient wood heater keeps the cabin toasty warm in the winter and firewood is provided free of charge. There is NO Telstra reception and limited service available to other carriers except optus. Perfect for escaping the hustle and bustle of the modern world! Whilst only being a couple of hundred metres from the main house, the cabin is situated up on the hill and is far enough away to make you feel as if you are in a world of your own! Being located 10 minutes from Ballandean itself and 25 minutes to Stanthorpe it is in the perfect location to escape to the country, explore national parks and wineries, and relax and unwind. Guest AccessBallandean is a popular destination for tourists all year round, but is most popular in the winter. Visitors come to enjoy the cool days and frosty mornings in front of a cosy fire. There are at least 50 different wineries across the Granite Belt with many winning national and international awards every year for their products. There are many options for those dining out in Ballandean itself with some very nice restaurants showcasing local produce. The hut is in the perfect location for those wishing to explore Girraween or Sundown national parks, or perhaps just take a bushwalk around the hills on the property. Being 10 minutes from the shop it is advised to do your shopping before you arrive, although basic necessities such as tea, coffee, milk and sugar are provided. Interaction with GuestsThere are a number of activities that can be enjoyed at The Folly including fishing, birdwatching and bushwalking. As we run a working farm, visitors are welcome to enquire about helping with any activities on the farm if they wish to. We have sheep, cattle, donkeys, chickens, dogs and horses. Feel free to bring carrots to feed the donkeys - they are definitely the friendliest animals on the farm and love a nose scratch and a chat. We ask that you refrain from feeding any other food to the donkeys. Guest are welcome to help themselves to farm-fresh organic eggs from the chook pen (subject to availability!). Please feel free to come and have a chat with us, we are happy to answer questions to make your stay more enjoyable. Other Things to NotePlease be careful if you are intending to arrive at night. We ask that you drive with due care and vigilance along Bents road as there can be a lot of deer and kangaroos at certain times of the year.

        Private....Peaceful...Tranquil - 2 Cottages in country Queensland, Australia. These well appointed self contained cottages, suitable for a couple, are a restful place to spend some time away from home. The combined living and dining area offer guests plenty of room to relax after a day spent touring the wineries and tourist attractions around Stanthorpe, Queensland, Australia. The kitchen is fully equipped including a Nespresso coffee machine. In the cooler weather enjoy the warmth of the wood fire. Sit out on the deck with a glass of your favouriute wine and enjoy the lovely sunsets and enjoy the peace and quiet of the area. The bedroom has a very comfortable king size bed. The bathroom has a large shower with two shower heads. The cottages are on 40 acres of land just 5 minutes from Stanthorpe CBD. It is a comfortable and scenic 3 hour drive south from Brisbane, the capital of Queensland. The area is well known for its wineries as well as many other attractions. Girraween National park is a short drive further south. Stanthorpe is a comfortable 3 hour scenic drive from Brisbane. Property has extensive views of the area, a short bush walk on the property with a view into Stanthorpe township and surrounding district. Bus it from Brisbane, or hire a car. Open air parking near cottages. We are 5 klms from Stanthorpe CBD. Area attractions include local strip shopping, wineries, cafes, national parks.

He was a mysterious character, living a secluded lifestyle and robbing isolated spots randomly. Thunderbolt was eventually hunted down and shot by the police in 1870 near Urella. Within his 'territory', there are a variety of hideouts bearing his namesake or linked to his escapades and years of searching at each have not turned up any hidden treasures or loot. It is located on the Ananda Palli property which is a Yoga based community. The property comprises 100 acres of bush, fields and orchards with an ashram, school building, organic farm and a few family homes. Ananda Palli is located in Severnlea, 2.5 hours south west of Brisbane and 40 kilometers north of Tenterfield on the New England Highway. It is about ten minutes from Stanthorpe. The BnB house, called Satyam's House, is one of several houses on the property. The guest room comfortably sleeps 2 in a queen size bed. The house is used only for guests. Enjoy stunning sunsets from the private balcony. Possums The bush is home to a variety of nocturnal wildlife. Possums on the roof at night can disturb sleep. Possums can also enter the house if windows or screens are left open and will be particularly attracted to food. Other occasional sounds include kangaroos that make a growling noise to assert their space to other kangaroos.                     The SpaceGlen Robin Homestead has been in our family for fifty years. It has been recently renovated to be used as a holiday house. There is a large fenced yard for children and pets to play in. Pets can stay indoors or outdoors. They can also be safely tied up or closed into a smaller yard while owners are away. It is only a short drive from "Glen Robin" to National Parks at Bald Rock and Girraween. Other Things to NoteGlen Robin comfortably sleeps 8 people. We have a queen size bed in the master bedroom, a double bed in the second bedroom, and a double bed and two single beds in the (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN).

                                  Rachel's Cottage is a historical workers cottage built in 1898 as the family home of the Middleton family. It has been lovingly restored and refurbished by the Middleton Family descendants for guests' comfort. It is situated in the main street of Texas, just next door to one of the two grocery stores in town. Within walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops and general stores in town, it is an ideal opportunity to relax and enjoy the true hospitality of wonderful country people. Rachel's Cottage has two bedrooms, one with a brass bed and one with a four poster bed. Both are double beds and a sofa bed sleeping two in the lounge room. The lounge room has an open fireplace which is a wonderful place to gather around in winter. The bathroom has a claw foot bath, perfect for a luxurious bubble bath.
