The bedroom has a double bed. Baby cot available.
It contains an overhead fan, beside lamp, hanging space, tv, dvd player, a selection of pre-recorded movies, access to wifi for personal use, but not available for movie downloads please.
We will provide a light breakfast, toast or cereal,or healthy smoothie,fruit,eggs, laid by our chooks, and served on homemade toasted bread, or a choice of baked beans, spaghetti, or grilled tomato/ mushroom on toast, or just toast and homemade marmalade or other spread. As long as we know in advance what you would like and what time you would like it served.
A homestyle cooked meal can be provided at low cost in the evening, whatever the family is eating. Need to know in advance if this service is required.
Use of the kitchen is permitted providing you are prepared to clean up. Use of the fridge is also welcome.
Use of washing machine. There is a dryer but only for emergencies.
Water is restricted, so would appreciate short showers and no baths please. Interaction with GuestsGuests are welcome to join the family at any time and join in any activity. We often have friends in to share a meal.
Guests may use any area of the property they would like- front verandah, deck, garden.
We retire about 10.30pm and rise early. We will not not disturb our guests who wish to sleep in.
We have 1 dog who is extremely friendly. Should she become too boisterous we will banish her to another area. The NeighborhoodOur home is on a quarter acre property.
We have an extensive garden which includes a veggie patch, fruit trees, chooks. The neighbourhood is quiet and peaceful. We have views to the hills at front and bush at the end of our street.
Our township is 3 large blocks from our home, easily walked by any body used to walking. We have a hospital, doctors, chemists, large grocery shop, butcher, fruit shop, newsagent.
Attractions in our town are the Information Centre which has a display about the history of the power Station and related industries, and loads of information about what is available in the South Burnett Region.
We have a beautiful mural walk which depicts the history of Nanango displayed on the walls of businesses in our town.
Tipperary Flats is the home of the peanut wagon, historical buildings, Hannibal the dragline bucket from the mining industry. Getting AroundIntermittent buses travel between Nanango and our next biggest town, Kingaroy. However it is best to have your own transport to allow you to go where you please and when you please. There is room to park a vehicle on our property.
Other Things to Notewe usually retire about 10-30pm and rise about 5-00am.
