The Space*AirBnB encourages detail in the listing (the more the better), but if you don't speak English well you may prefer to scroll to the end for a summary.

Haven is a niche place offering far more than simply a place to stay – for those with whom it resonates it's a gem to find! If you're just looking for a convenient, budget place to stay, there are plenty of other options available in the area.
The space is suitable for women who are looking for character, light, spacious, nurturing and a lovely contribution to well being, and who resonate with my lifestyle choices (non-smoking, pet-free, alcohol-free, drug-free, natural personal care products for health and care of the planet).
As a woman living alone, I offer space for women only.
Haven is unsuitable for children.
I specialize in therapeutic sound, so what makes Haven unique is the optional extra of a profoundly soothing and uplifting 'sound immersion'. Incredibly potent for relaxing, re-balancing and rejuvenating.
I am also a qualified Life Coach and NLP practitioner, which can be a blessing if you're taking time out to get clarity on any life issues. Please ask if you would like further details, cost and availability. Guest AccessYou will have full use of the well appointed, practical kitchen and the very comfortable living areas (includes lovely decks front and back looking out onto the lush sub-tropical greenery).
The bathroom is shared.
Your room has a comfortable divan (suitable for one), with a side table, lamp, mirror and comfortable seating.
Wireless internet is included.
There is a TV and a DVD player (with a good selection of DVDs) however the use of these would depend on timing and what's happening - in other words, arrangements need to be mutually agreeable in the shared space.
There is also a zen chi machine available.
Depending on my availability and a separate cost from accommodation, guests may also have access to my therapeutic sound sessions and life coaching. (Some testimonials are shared lower down.) It's totally up to you and I truly don't mind either way, though if you feel any inclination towards them but are feeling unsure, all I will say is that this is quite a unique AirBnB listing and you are in the perfect place for it - safe, wise, non-judgemental, nurturing, holding space, uplifting. Interaction with GuestsChoose between shared space in which you are welcome to interact, or separate spaces for solitude. My level of interaction can also be influenced by my work commitments. I work from home. The NeighborhoodBuderim is in the centre of the beautiful Sunshine Coast and 'Haven' is handy to everything. It's less than five minutes to an assortment of shops, restaurants and cafes, services (supermarkets, post office, banks, etc.) and the beautiful Buderim Forest Park (including waterfall) for delightful bush walking, sight seeing and swimming.
It's a 10 minute drive to beautiful Mooloolaba Beach, Underwater World and the base for Whale Watching/swimming with whales in the ocean (season runs 4 July to 25 October). Also Sunshine Plaza (huge shopping plaza) and Kunara - a large organic supermarket (7 days a week). Also Top Shots and Go Wake Cable Ski Watersports Park.
Within a radius of no more than 45 minutes drive, you'll find access to surfing, fishing and diving, the Glasshouse Mountains and the beautiful hinterland tourist towns of Maleny, Montville and Mapleton, also the Buderim Ginger Factory, the Big Kart Track, AussieWorld, the world renowned Australia Zoo, Noosa National Park and the famous Eumundi Markets (Wednesdays and Saturdays). There is also the Big Pineapple Markets (Saturdays) and Caloundra Markets (Sundays) and the new Big Top Markets (Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays). Getting AroundFree off-street parking is available in the very quiet, safe street, and Haven is also very handy to public transport (nearest bus stop 300 metres, route 617) and just a short walk from the thriving centre of Buderim.
It's only 10 minutes from Sunshine Coast Airport and one hour from Brisbane Airport.
Depending on availability, I may be available to pick you up from Sunshine Coast airport for half the cost of the airport shuttle buses. The airport shuttle bus services are door to door and there is also the standard public transport. Other Things to NoteCheck-in/check-out times are flexible, pre-arranged. Minimum stay 2 nights.
There are ceiling/oscillating fans for the hot weather, but at the hottest time of the year some guests may not consider that sufficient (good time for an ocean swim, 10 minute drive away).
In the winter there are some electric heaters that make the space quite comfortable. Winters are relatively mild here but it can still be quite cold overnight when we have cold spells (6 degrees C would be what I consider very cold, with the average more like 10-12 C.)
You are welcome to use the washing machine.
Drinking water is filtered, ionised and alkalised, and the shower water is also filtered.
Haven is on the first floor, therefore not suitable for disabled access.
Haven can potentially be used for events, for small, conscious gatherings. Please inquire if you'd like to explore this possibility.

What others say:
“I never would have thought it possible that Maia could have such insight into situations in my life – situations she couldn’t know as I was there, not her. She just seemed to be able to tune into my head and my experience of life and shed light on it in a way that has impacted very positively on my life. Her coaching has made a big difference.”
“Developing greater understanding of my personal aspirations has liberated my thinking. The sessions have helped me gain new skills and influenced real changes to my behaviour and direction. I would recommend Maia to anyone caught between a rock and a hard place.”
“Being coached and guided by Maia, I have found that there is a way out of problems I have carried for so long because I thought there was no help. Nothing I had tried before had worked. Coaching has made a major difference to my work and personal life – a difference I can’t thank Maia enough for.”
“Maia is tuned in to all that is and yet also super grounded and earthy… and a fun sense of humour to boot! She invited me to step more fully into my power and it was one of the most profound experiences and initiations of my life! It’s so refreshing to have someone direct you back within, as many of us have a tendency to look outside ourselves for the answers!
Anyone who feels to connect with her will be forever grateful, I know I am.”
Rachel Raspberry (USA)
“Your sound immersion was the most amazing experience I’ve ever had. I have honestly never experienced anything so powerful. There are no human words to explain just how amazing it was!”
Robin Oliphant (Australia)
“Your music has touched me deeply. It is so mesmerising, and it really takes me to a place of such peace. How fortunate I feel to have found your music. Thank you for the special gift you have created, and for the part it is now playing in my healing.”
Trudi Bareham (Australia)
“To enter meditation it takes a conscious step to still my mind. Experiencing your music, no conscious step occurs. The music is divine – a heavenly elixir that transports you into a heightened state of peace, openness and reflection.”
Ian Lewis (Australia)
“What an impact your Sound Immersion had on the rest of my week, my mood was lifted, I felt light and joyful, I didn’t engage in my usual Friday afternoon de-stress wine. I will definitely attend another one of your beautiful sound immersions.”
Kylie Johnson (Australia)
“Before your Sound Immersion I was in a fair amount of pain. I left with very little. Thank you.”
Sibylle Werner (Australia)
