The SpaceA unique free standing guest paviloin set in a tropical surounding with all amenities. There are 2 bedrooms in the pavilion with a queen size bed in each so 4 guests would fit comfortably. Guest AccessGuests will have access to the pool and spa area and the man made beach area.There is also outdoor dinning and BBQ facilities. Interaction with GuestsMore than happy to interact with guests but understand some guest will love this property for the privacy. I may not be present but I have a caretaker that would supervise when required. The NeighborhoodI love the serenity of the rainforrest and the diverse amount of wildlife that I share this property with. The veiws are also amazing. Getting AroundBuses run regularly and are about a 1K walk from the property.There are local taxis also.The shared cab from the airport is door to door and cheap. Other Things to NoteThere are many trips and walks to participate in around the area.Some good places to eat also.I have a folder available with information.

The SpaceIt's totally private . own bathroom . if no other guests its all yrs. I have two bedrooms so if u need two rooms it can be arranged. I can help u with tour bookings. Especially boats. ..I listed two separate rooms. both have a huge kingsize bed in large open rooms. The house has everything u will need. There is a second bedroom available. The other with massive ensuite and own private balcony is a honeymoon suite type secluded suite. u basically have the home to yrself if that's not booked as we have a separate studio apartment .u can use the laundry and kitchen it's all yrs... Guest AccessThe home is very private and secluded.. ill show u everything and help u with tours. There is a very comfy outdoor area by the pool. There is a laundry and kitchen to use. A luxury seaside home better than the photos. I am also able to assist with all bookings of the tours. Interaction with GuestsA warm welcome and leave u to it .I respect yr privacy . im helpful but respect yr privacy. there is a bus at the end of the road.     We have converted a big old farm shed into a home. Outside still looks like a shed inside is a brand new home. The room has it own bathroom Queen bed, air conditioner and Tv Come for a true small town Australian experience. It is a cane growing town only 25 km from one of the most visited tourist towns in Australia Airlie Beach

    I live in Airlie beach North Queensland which is very tropical and has easy access to all the islands ex, hay man, Hamilton island etc. I have a hi set house 3 beds upstairs and 1 bed and living area downs stairs, Very private garden lots of room and a big reserve out the back of the garden, Large kitchen and open space living, have a garage with scooters and bicycle for there use. I also have Swimming pool, close to shops schools and bus stop is at the end of my road, we have a local pool and a public lagoon getting there by bus only 3 klms away I'm a grandmother and often have my grandchildren to stay and I work a couple of days a week at home doing bookkeeping.

    The SpaceKey lock on door to get key so 24 hour check in. Top floor unit. If you are arriving late the stairwells have push button timer lights on the walls as you go up the stairs. Enjoy million dollar views of coral sea from all areas of the unit including the main (URL HIDDEN) up surrounded quiet surroundings with plentiful bird life. Alfresco dining on the open veranda with picture perfect sunsets every evening.The apartment has split system air conditioning, your own full kitchen with everything you will need to cook amazing meals. Supermarket is only a 5 min walk or enjoy local THAI and Japanese takeaway and take back to the unit with a bottle of wine to watch the sunset. All tours will pick up from the main Bus stop near the apartments. Very safe neighbourhood, you don't have to worry about locking the doors. I can organise any local tours but make sure you book these in advance as all tours book out at least 3 days prior in holiday season Units are mainly owner occupied so safe and quiet and walking distance to shops, Post office, supermarket and bus stop. Local Bus or hire a car if you don't have one Swimming pool in complex which is located down a set of stairs located near unit 143. I can organise any local tours but make sure you book these in advance with me as all tours book out at least 3 days prior in holiday season. If you need a place longer term then let me know. Local Bus or hire a car if you don't have one. Bus stop is 5 mins walk and Airlie Beach is only a 40 min coastal walk or 5 mins by bus or car. Pool is situated down the flight of stairs near unit 143 and there is a pool key on the key ring by the door. This stairwell is also the quickest way to get to the local shops and bus stop if you are walking. I am happy to assist you with any of your needs as I live in the same complex but if you can't contact me for any reason contact Tyson, unit 140. I can text you his number. 5 night min over holiday periods such as Xmas, New Year and Easter but I am negotiable and if you need a place longer term then let me know. Bus stop is 5 mins walk and Airlie Beach is only a 40 min coastal walk or 5 mins by bus or car. Banjos on the corner of the shopping center have 2 meals for $25 on Wednesdays and Sundays. They also have specials other days. The Thai takeaway and sushi shop at the local shopping center are also great. I sometimes block dates to clean so if the date you need is not avail send me a request and I can let you know if they are available. Units all come with a supply of basics like toilet paper, washing powder and dish wash liquid however for longer stays you may have to replace items as there is no cleaning service and you are expected to do your own cleaning and leave the unit clean and tidy. Makes sure you take your rubbish out regularly and bins are located at the end of each building. Guest AccessYou have access to the shared swimming pool in complex. wifi is available for only $10 for your entire stay Swimming pool is located at the bottom of the concrete steps. The key for the gate is hanging near the front door. Shops an restaurants are all only a 5 min walk. Fun rentals can drop a car to you at the unit. We can also organise an airports pick up for you for between $50 2 pax and $70 up to 4 pax. We give you a quick drive around town to show you the sights and then to the Unit so cheap if there is 4 of you. Other Things to Notewifi is available for an extra $10 for your entire stay. To get to the unit turn right at the Whitsunday shopping center. Island Drive (second set of traffic lights if you are driving into town). Go through large roundabout and take the first driveway on the left. Drive up the driveway to the top block of units. Key is in locked box on front door.     The SpaceOur home is an open plan living space. It offers a large bench top in the kitchen to enjoy a wine and chat while preparing meals, or enjoy a fresh orange juice from the orange tree in the front yard, in season. There is a dining area with table and chairs, living area with comfortable sofa and chairs and a TV nook with 42" TV and sofa. Sliding doors open onto the back deck that has a lovely pool, BBQ and outdoor seating. The guest bedroom is medium sized that suits two people. It has air con, ceiling fan, chest of drawers, hanging closet, laminate wood flooring and a very comfortable queen size bed. The private bathroom has been newly renovated with bath/shower, vanity, towels and basic toiletries provided. Guest AccessYou will have access to the main areas of the house except the master bedroom, ensuite and office. The house is open plan living, so the Kitchen, living, dining, television area, back deck are at your disposal. There is an off street parking space available as well. Interaction with GuestsWe will provide as much interaction as you like. From our years crewing on superyachts, we have traveled extensively and enjoy meeting new people and making new friends. If you would like a more private experience, that is perfectly fine, but please note that the house is open plan design, so the only true private place is the guest room or bathroom! The NeighborhoodOur house is on a very quiet dead end street. It is conveniently located near the shops, transportation, Cannonvale beach and the beautiful walk to the marina, lagoon and town. Getting AroundThere is a bus stop located at the end of the street only a minute or two walk. Cannonvale beach is a few minutes walk away, which starts the path/boardwalk to Abell Point Marina and then onto the lagoon and Airlie's town centre. The Cannonvale shopping center is about a 5-10 minute walk and has a Coles, various takaway places, Country Target, Chemist, bottle shop, etc. If you have a car, there is off street parking available in front of the house. If you are coming via the airport, share taxis are available for $15 to the door and take approximately half an hour. Other Things to NoteWe have a very friendly English Staffy. The NeighborhoodThe Whitsundays are made up of several suburbs including Airlie Beach, Cannonvale and Woodwark. All are very small with a total population of around 7000. The Cane Cutters Cottage is outside "suburbia" and on the edge of the sugar cane farms. It's quiet, private and relaxing. But still only minutes away from Airlie Beach and with the main Whitsunday shopping centre close by for convenience. Getting AroundYour own car is recommended, there is so much to explore and see. There is a bus stop at the Centro Shopping centre, about 900m walk. Taxis are available. Other Things to NoteWe have two friendly horses, Banjo & Doc, on the property who are happy for a carrot or two! It is adjacent to rainforest so it is unlikely but not impossible that wildlife like a snake or dingo could be seen. Wallabies, butterflies and any number of birds can be seen daily.

The NeighborhoodQuiet location, Close to bus stop, Shops, bank, local bar and restaurant, Thai takeaway, fish and chips. Only 5 mins but car or bus to Airlie Beach and only 35 min walk over the hill or 40 mins along the boardwalk. All local tours will pick you up from the door. Getting Around5 mins to bus stop which runs every 20 mins. Other Things to NoteBBQ, Coffee Machine, A/c and lots of other things you would not find in a holiday let apartment. Please don's feed the birds as they get ill on Human food. Ok to feed the Goanna eggs if he wanders past the back door.

    The SpaceOur Earthship inspired building is constructed of recycled tyres which are filled with dirt and pounded (rammed earth) and has a grass sod roof. The entrance to the earthship is via a stainless steel & glass door recycled from a 60 foot luxury motor cruiser. The room is a quiet, cosy comfortable space to enjoy. A selection of books and movies (documentary and general viewing) are available. Good wifi access available however if you prefer to view online TV programs. A special note: The beautiful and more artistic photos shown were taken with the special eyes of Rachel (one of our airbnb guests) who thought the earthship deserved a better online presence. Many thanks Rachel. Guest AccessGuests have their own outdoor shower (hot and cold water) and waterless toilet overlooking the forest. A small outdoor kitchenette with coffee and tea (black and herbal) are supplied. A small refrigerator is provided for your exclusive use. A welcome pack of breakfast supplies (organic where possible) are provided for the first two days of your stay (typically fruit, yoghurt, muesli, juice). There is an outdoor table and chairs for your use along with an outdoor day bed. A bean bag lounge chair is also available for your use either inside the earthship or outdoors. We respect your privacy so will be guided by you. The NeighborhoodA small "shack" is also housed on the property and is home to our sister/sister inlaw. She is a quiet person who likes her own privacy but is also very friendly should you cross paths. We have neighbours on either side of our 8 acre property. Our neighbourhood is, for the most part, quiet and peaceful. The occasional party can sometimes be heard and being in a rural area some days you can hear the use of grass cutters or leaf blowers ( usually only for short periods). Once you are inside the earthship it becomes your own quiet tranquil place. Our property is home to a variety of wildlife from the protected bush turkeys who wander carefree. Don't leave the door of the earthship open when you go out as bush turkeys may decide to pay a visit and they can make a mess by flapping around trying to get out again. The males are distinguished by a bright yellow fold of skin around their neck. Many other species of birds are also regularly around. One favourite is a small sunbird (yellow colouring) who build their nests in close proximity to humans for protection from predators. We would be happy to show you if there isn't one hanging somewhere around the earthship during your visit. Monitor lizards both small and large are also sometimes seen and heard scampering through the scrub. Agile wallabies are also native to our area however they are a little more shy of people. Our dog Frida lives on the property. She is only young and still learning what is what. She is very friendly but may bark when you arrive home. Our property is a 10 minute drive to three beautiful walking trails of varying distance. These trails make up part of what is known as "The Great Walk" series of tracks in many locations around Australia. There are also a number of other walking trails to explore in the area. The Whitsundays has a myriad of activities both on and off the water. We are happy to help you with any bookings you may wish to make. Getting AroundWe are located 10klm from Airlie Beach and taxis are available however we strongly recommend your own vehicle . Depending on the time of year and what is happening in town waiting time for taxis can be a little long. Taxis are available at average cost of AUD$25-$30 each way from Airlie Beach. Cannonvale has its own beach and you can, if you are up to it walk into town along a beautiful scenic boardwalk. (About a 40 min walk) or catch a bus or taxi into town. There is a shopping centre in Cannonvale and restaurants, bars and playgrounds. I'll have lots of recommendations for where to go and what to do. Getting AroundIf you have a car with you - there is a space for 2 cars outside the house or the drive. Airlie is a short 5 minute drive. Otherwise a taxi costs about $12 into Airlie or you can walk down the hill to the bus stop. Plenty of options. If you want to explore further a field Dingo Beach, Hydeaway Bay just ask and I can help. Port of Airlie is just on the other side of Airlie and is the gateway to the Whitsunday Islands. The unit is located in the rear unit block and is situated off the second landing as you walk up the stairwell. The unit is called 'Salty Toes'. There is also a communal laundry available for use during your stay which is off the first landing. (our unit block only) If you want time out from cooking then The 'Fat Frog Cafe' is open daily from early morning to 5 pm and is a locals hangout. Whats more - it is just in the next block and dog friendly with a complete doggy menu! Whitsunday Shopping Centre is a short stroll away making it easy to stock up for your stay with a grocery store, alcohol shop, numerous take-away shops and cafes. There is no bus stop on our property, therefore we're happy to make arrangements beforehand to pick you up or drop you off. There are some restaurants and the walk along the boardwalk is a lovely walk to Airlie via the Marina. There are some parks and places where you can have a bbq on the beach such as Shingley Beach. Our favorite places for dinner in Airlie Beach are Mr Bones and Little Vegas. The Rum bar is great for cocktails and Breeze Bar serves wonderful drinks and great food. Do a day trip with Ocean Rafting, hire a car and visit Horseshoe Bay in Bowen and in the wet season, the waterfalls at Cedar Creek Falls. Getting AroundThe buses run along the main road and go through the town. The local taxi service is very good and it costs about $12 to go to Airlie Beach. Car rentals are available at the airport and in Airlie beach. Have your food delivered by Coles. Other Things to NoteThe Whitsundays are in the tropics and as such can have some good rain falls particularly in the Summer months. Please be careful when it is wet around the property as it can be very slippery (please note the drive way and the decks and stairs). Also we have a very steep driveway however we have an easier car park at the bottom.

It coasts $25 and drops you at that same bus stop. If driving, there are visitors car spaces within the complex. Other Things to NoteSmoking is okay outside on the balcony.

        The SpaceThe house is set on an acre block with beautiful views of the mountains and valley, especially from the deck and pool area. It is completely secluded and peaceful so you can sunbathe or relax in privacy.....the serenity is amazing. However you are only a few minutes from the large shopping centre and bus stop and just an 8 min drive from Airlie CBD with a selection of bars and restaurants. The house is open plan with living and dining area, well equipped kitchen, outside bbq and dining area with day bed to relax and read a book or just chill. There is a 40" TV with a sound bar to play music from your smartphone and wireless internet. Price is for 1 bedroom with Queen bed (inc. portable air conditioner) but if there are more than 2 people there is another bedroom available for use also with Queen Bed, linen and towels provided, large wardrobe, ceiling fan and 1 bathroom with shower and large bath. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided and use of general condiments etc. Under cover parking is also provided. Getting AroundThe Whitsunday Transit bus network runs regularly along Shute Harbour Road with the nearest bus stop approximately four minutes walk away. How close is Sandy Toes to the airport and train station? Whitsunday Coast Airport (also referred to as Proserpine Airport) is located in Gunyarra, approximately 35km inland. Proserpine Railway Station is in central Proserpine, approximately 23km inland. All planes and trains are met by a transfer coach operated by Whitsunday Transit. We recommend you book your transfers in advance. Tell them you are staying at Sandy Toes for door-to-door service. How close is Sandy Toes to the Whitsundays islands? Sandy Toes is in Cannonvale, next to Airlie Beach, on the mainland. The only Whitsunday islands that you have regular public access to are Whitsunday Island (for Whitehaven Beach), Daydream Island and Hamilton Island. All of these are accessible via ferry with Cruise Whitsundays. All Cruise Whitsunday ferries depart from Port of Airlie which is 5km from our front door. Local people take pride in their lush tropical gardens,so there is much beautiful scenery and abundant wildlife.Socially locals enjoy a drink at the marina or closest bar and are very friendly and welcoming. Airlie beach is a short cab ride over the hill to shops nightlife and access to cruise departures. Smoking is allowed on the balcony , please close the doors behind you.
