The SpaceA gorgeous exotic homestead with gardens like paradise nestled in a rainforest 10 minutes drive from Noosa and Eumundi on the beautiful Sunshine Coast. The homestead has 4 rooms with ensuite bathrooms, patios and access to the garden, pool and carpark. We have a beautiful log fire in the lounge and dining room and have lots of lovely space for you to dine outdoors alfresco on our undercover terrace. Guest AccessYou will have use of the guest lounge including fireplace and dining room. The terrace, with breakfast facilities including toaster, kettle, fridge and microwave. Our undercover paved BBQ area is also available as is the gas BBQ which must be left clean and tidy or extra cleaning fees will be charged. Each room is lockable and you will have keys for the house. Guests may also use the garden and pool. Pets on application ONLY Interaction with GuestsWe live at the property in our own private wing, so if you would like to have exclusive access to the property for says longe than 2 nighs pleas enquire directly with us. We will be available for help at most times. The NeighborhoodOur neighborhood is rural residential with small garden acreage and lovely big homes, the home is close to the Noosa Eumundi Road and central to both those towns. You will need a car or a scooter to get around as there is no public transport and taxis cost approx $35 for a trip into town. If you fancy golf we are a minutes walk to the first tee of the Noosa Valley Golf Course. Getting AroundFree outdoor parking and plenty of it. If you have a larger vehicle or a bike, we are able to provide space to house it. You will need a car to travel around. Other Things to NoteWe are situated in the Hinterland of Noosa, only 10 minutes drive from Noosaville and from Eumundi. If you are staying for any length of time it is recommended you have a scooter or car. WI_FI is available at the cost of $5 per day.

i live in a large, airy, open plan home on 1 1/2 acres with a pool and tennis court, looking down a valley into the bush. There's abundant bird life, occasional koalas and its peaceful. It takes 15 min to get from here to the surf. Noosa, Peregian, Sunshine, Castaways, Coolum are all good for surfing or swimming. There is a gazebo with BBQ, wrap around veranda, swing seat and plenty of nooks to chill out in the garden. Visitors have access to a large TV, kitchen and all facilities. The 2 bedrooms share a new bathroom with spa that is at one end of the house with it's own entrance. The home and rooms have been recently painted, queen beds are good and everything is clean!! Parking is at the back gate at the end of a short drive. The area is a safe, friendly one.

The house is warm and homely with beauty and nature in abundance . The upstairs of the house comprises open-plan living, dining and kitchen with everything you could want making it feel like home from home. Why not have dinner on the private back verandah and listen to the bird life or catch a sunset on the front verandah. Upstairs find a gas fireplace to keep you cosy and air con for the summer months. There are 3 bedrooms; the master with kingbed and on-suite and 2 others with queen beds with shared bathroom and toilet. Downstairs holds a real surprise; a huge family/party room with pool table, darts board and huge flat-screen tv . There is also a large sofa that turns into a king size bed if you should need it. Also downstairs you'll find a double garage, laundry and a toilet. If you are travelling with children we have a portacot and small single bed at your request. Set in a stunning location, 3 mins drive from the historical township of Eumundi, where you can grab a coffee, meal or beer. Listen to some live music or shop at the famous markets held on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. Buses run from Eumundi to Noosa or catch a train to Brisbane.     We live in a comfortable, 4 bedroom house on a picturesque, small acreage at the base of Mt Tinbeerwah, which is in the Noosa hinterland on the Sunshine Coast, Qld. (15 minutes from Noosa Heads, a popular beach and surfing location) Our children have all left home ( our chocolate labrador is our substitute) so there's empty bedrooms and we enjoy meeting people from all over the world. There are many fruit trees, 2 vegetable gardens, a rainforest, a beautiful pond, a creek and numerous native gardens on the property. The abundant wildlife, such as wallabies, kangaroos, native ducks, water hens and a large number of birds keep us constantly entertained as we look over our large pond from the house. As well you can relax or swim at one of the world renowned beaches of Noosa. Whales and dolphins can be spotted on a walk around the bays and rocky headlands of the famous Noosa National Park. (you might even spot a koala, echidna or goanna) The shores of nearby Boreen Point and Lake Cootharaba, in the upper reaches of the Noosa River system, are such a beautiful place to visit for fishing, sailing, canoeing, camping, bush walking and just to get away from it all. Getting AroundA bus goes past the door and there is a train station at Cooroy.( 7kms away) We can pick you up from the station or from the Sunshine Coast Airport for a small fee. The NeighborhoodWe live in a quiet rural neighbourhood on 2.5 acres near the top of Mount Tinbeerwah. We are part of the Noosa Biosphere, the first UNESCO designated site in Australia so we have lots of wildlife. Neighbouring national parks have great bush walks and off road biking tracks. Tinbeerwah is famous for its cycling and rally car hill climbs. The Noosa Triathalon goes right past our door. The beach and river is only a 10 minute drive away, or visit the several local country towns in our region, including Eumundi, famous for its markets. The local lakes are fabulous for canoeing or water sports including fishing. Perfect if you want to be close to the action but able to get away from it all when the day is over. Getting AroundNoosaville is a short 5 minute drive away, and Noosa Heads another 5 minutes or so. Cooroy is a short 5 minute drive west, while Eumundi is just over the hill and down the road. The Tinbeerwah Lookout is just around the corner and is a fabulous spot to view the entire coast line. The main bus route/stop is just up from our driveway. There is plenty of parking onsite for your car/caravan/Rv. The closest airport is Sunshine Coast - Maroochydore a 40 minute drive down the highway. Other Things to NoteWe do have a male peacock. Phoenix when in full tail is spectacular but occasionally noisy during the day during mating season (Nov-Dec), otherwise you will not know he is there. The property is not fenced so pets will have to be supervised. We can cordon off the back deck if we know you are bringing your pets so they can't wander off, but please be aware that smaller animals may escape through the railings. If you could keep your pets off the furniture and bed it would be appreciated. Alternatively there is a tartan wool blanket that you can spread over the couch for them. Thank you.

We’re 10 minutes from Eumundi markets, and 15 minutes from various beaches and national parks. In fact, you can set off in any direction from Doonan to find a gorgeous variety of towns to explore nearby. There’s the country town charm of Cooroy and Pomona, and expansive golf greens at nearby Noosa Springs. There are local galleries in Tewantin and Eumundi, ferries setting off from the Marina, and great sundowners at the boathouse overlooking Noosa River. Head up to the hinterland for some fine wine and Sunday jazz. Or stop off for tea and scones on a scenic drive through Montville, Mapleton and Maleny. Getting AroundLocal public transport is patchy and the property is best suited to people with their own transport. The Sunshine Coast is full of surprises, and we're happy to offer recommendations for fabulous things to see and do. The two bedrooms offer a comfy King and double bunks, and an equally cosy Queen size bed in the common area accommodates romantic couples or families alike. Relax on the deck with a view of the dam, enjoy a wine by the fire in winter or cool off in the stunning pool in summer, this is the perfect place to unwind. The Miele appliances in the kitchen ensure cooking is a breeze, or head out to the deck to cook up a storm in the wood fired pizza oven or BBQ. A separate rumpus provides space to spread out, watch a movie or catch up on your favourite series on the large smart screen TV. Interaction with GuestsYour privacy is important to us but we are on hand if necessary and more than happy to offer any help or advice you may need. The Shed is not our main residence but we're only a 20 minute drive or phone call away. The NeighborhoodEumundi town is only 5 minutes drive away, and home to the world famous Eumundi Markets, a great spot for brekky on Saturday morning and picking up souvenirs of your stay. Cooroy is 5 minutes in the opposite direction, where you will find two local favourites: IGA Supermarket for all your provisions, and Maison de Provence, a must-do for a little french treat or delicious lunch. Getting AroundAlthough there's a train station at Cooroy, and local bus services, we really do recommend having a car if you intend visiting this unique part of Queensland. We're an easy, 30 minute drive from Sunshine Coast Airport, and only 15 minutes from Noosa and all it has to offer. Other Things to NoteYou are welcome to potter in the veggie patch and help yourself to any produce. We can provide skateboards, balls and bikes to entertain kids, just let us know in advance. Guests are free to explore the paddocks provided they keep clear of the cattle and horses, and supervise any children near the dam. Firewood is available for use in the fire pit, but please make sure all fires are extinguished whilst unsupervised. The Shed runs on combined solar and grid power, tank water and a septic system. The property secured with a back to base alarm system and security cameras (external only).

        The SpaceOur home is an up and down with 3 available bedrooms and one large office cum spare room with an additional double bed. It is homely, private and comfortable with all mod cons. It is set on 2 ha of land with trees and gardens. Should you be a couple using the upstairs bedroom only the price will be set accordingly, however it is also great for a family. Guest AccessThis house is our home, so there will be evidence of our existence! However there will be plenty of space in cupboards and drawers. The pantry will supply you with condiments and plenty of things you will not wish to have to buy. We will close off one room upstairs for personal possessions. Interaction with GuestsWe are required to be absent at work in Bowen every second month, however have friends in Noosaville who have willingly taken on the job of being your hosts and showing you around or helping you with anything you need to know. The NeighborhoodDoonan is a small centre with 2 cafes, an excellent fruit shop and an all-night service station with a large supply of groceries, and 2 landscaping yards with nurseries. It is a 2 minutes' drive from our home, so you can pop down to the servo for a Magnum after dinner if you are still hungry.

We are on hand to assist you as we live in the other part of the cottage. You will have access to our tropical garden and veranda.
