The SpaceThis spacious property is perfect for a short getaway, a few days to explore the Sunshine Coast, or a longer stay to simply enjoy the lifestyle. It is also only a short walk to The Mantra, where many workshops and seminars are held on the coast. An early morning swim at the beautiful Mooloolaba Beach or in the pool before breakfast is the perfect start to the day. (At the beginning of each stay, we provide a few days of cereals, juice, milk, coffee/tea, fruit, bread, spreads, etc.) Later on, a few hours cycling the tracks following the beach or taking beach walks from any local beach. This modern private space occupies almost one floor of a large coastal home. There is a bedroom with queen size bed, a private ensuite bathroom, a well equipped small kitchen, a large relaxing lounge area and a dining area. There is also a large separate laundry available with washer, drier and ironing facilities. We include quality linen including sheets, extra pillows and towels. The kitchenette is for your exclusive use, with sink, large frig and bench top hot plates. There are also normal appliances including microwave, electric kettle, toaster, electric frypan, sandwich maker etc. There are base condiments and all cooking and dining necessities, including frying pans, saucepans, cutting boards, serving platters, etc. In the bedroom, there is a large flat screen smart tv with many channels through satellite TV, as well as hundreds of excellent movies available to play through the tv, - if the multitude of movie channels on satellite are not enough! The large lounge / dining area leads to the pool and jetty area. There are many seating/relaxing areas perfect for reading in comfort with a peaceful view of the water, both inside and out. In the lounging area there is a quality DOCKING STATION (and charger for iphones) as well as a stereo system with a vast eclectic range of CDs for your enjoyment. The lounge / dining space opens onto a large covered area with a heated swimming pool (October to May). We FREELY offer a variety of "pool toys", to make lolling in the water even more comfortable. The pool is partly shaded so overexposure to sun can be avoided. There is an area for al fresco dining near the pool with a private barbeque here also.This area then leads down onto a lower garden which then extends to a small private beach with a large PRIVATE JETTY. This is absolutely perfect for morning coffee or sunset drinks, with views across the water. FREE: We have two well maintained bicycles available for your use. We have provided helmets as well. The use of these is all included. We have provided an assortment of board games etc for those lazy afternoons. This property is an easy short walk to Mooloolaba beach and all of the restaurants and cafes. There are walking and cycling tracks all along the Sunshine Coast. As well as the many restaurants and shops along the esplanade there are world famous sites nearby including Australia Zoo, Underwater World, Eumundi Markets, the Glasshouse Mountains, whale watching cruises and excellent diving sites. We have available a wide range of maps and brochures for activities, dining etc in the area. There is FREE UNLIMITED WiFi as well as wired internet. Also there is access to a computer and printer when the hosts are home. There is good public transport along the coast as well as easy access to Brisbane by bus and train. We have bus timetables also provided. The property is 70mins drive to Brisbane and approx 15 mins to Maroochydore/Sunshine Coast Airport. FREE: Hosts will make free transfers if possible, to and from Maroochydore Airport for stays of 3 days or longer. There is a friendly Labrador dog and little Shitzu cross living here and there is free off road parking available. We supply bathroom towels and hand towels etc as well as large BEACH TOWELS for the beach or pool. There is an outside clothesline beside the laundry for the beach towels after use. The SpaceRenovated unit, polished concrete floors, self contained. 2 bedrooms, one with king size, and the smaller bedroom has two (2x) single beds. Linen provided. Towels provided. All cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking equipment etc. provided. Hairdryer. Spa. Maps, brochures. The unit is baby friendly: there is a portacot, highchair & baby bath available at no extra charge. Guest AccessEntrance via River Esplanade, or via Burnett Street at rear. There are no additional features (no pool) but the unit is a two minute walk to the beach! There is no garage, however there is plenty of parking on the rear lane which is a cul de sac. Parking is free and un-timed at the rear: Burnett Street (and front: River Esplanade) of building. The building is a 2 flight walk up - no lift. I will give you entry instructions via phone or message. The NeighborhoodYou can walk everywhere from here: the beach and The Esplanade are 100m away. There are plenty of coffee shops and great restaurants to choose from, lovely breezes. Supermarket is about 400m walk away. There are convenience stores very close by too - 100m. The boardwalk through the dunes to the River mouth is right by the SurfClub at the end of the street toward the beach. Mooloolaba is a friendly holiday town, it's all about the beach and chilling out, the apartment is located so that you can walk everywhere. There are lots of activities that can be done within a 100m such as river cruises (ask about discounts - I have a special discount code with CoastalCruises: ADAM), UnderWaterWorld, the Surf Club, Scuba Diving, Bike trails, rentals of surfboards, stand up paddle boards, jet-skis Hobie catamarans etc. Getting AroundThere is bus stop 50 metres from the front door with regular routes to Sunshine Plaza Maroochydore, Caloundra, University and the train station. Cab ranks are very close too: 150 metres the closest is at The Wharf in front of the tavern. UBER is now available on the Sunshine Coast. If you do not already have app, you can use this code when registering ADAMF1488 - it will give you $25 credit - at least one free ride. I recommend "Sunshine Coast Car Rental" on the Esplanade if you would like to hire a car. Other Things to NoteParking is on the street: the back lane is called Burnett Street and is a cul de sac. Parking at the rear: Burnett Street is free and un-timed. Parking on River Esplanade is also free and untimed. If offstreet parking is required please contact me before booking, I have one garage available between 2 units.

The SpaceWe live in a multi-bedroomed house close to Mooloolaba Beach. It is great for swimming, surfing and walking. You can walk to the Mooloolaba Surf Club which is 700m from our front gate. There are numerous and varied restaurants, cafes, deli cafes, a supermarket, chemist etc within easy walking distance. The bus stop in both directions to major Shopping Plazas is 50m up the road from our house. Most retail outlets on the coast are open 7 days. Further afield you can explore Noosa beaches, the Sunshine Coast Hinterland and the Glasshouse Mountains as well as the Australia Zoo. These are all within an hour's drive. Your accommodation: You would have access to an elegant upstairs double bedroom and the main bathroom and toilet for your private use . There is a kitchen, dining room and lounge room which you will share with us. The kitchen is not available for cooking unless by individual prior arrangement with hosts. You will be provided with the makings of a continental breakfast each morning, after which you must leave the kitchen as you found it - clean and tidy. Please note: the house is not suitable for small children. There is a barbecue for guest use and a pergola for alfresco dining. There is parking for one car on our property. If there were more than two in your party the cost would be $85 for the Oriental Room, plus $85 for the Delft Room. You will share the bathroom. We usually do not have more than one group of guests staying in our house at the same time. If we do, the stay would only overlap by one day and there is another bathroom for the second guest use. Great surfing at Alexandra Headlands, fishing in the river. There is a dive shop at the end of the street on Brisbane Rd, to go on Dives to the HMAS Brisbane. There is a shopping complex just a few minutes walk away, with Coles supermarket, pharmacy, bakery, newsagent, gift shop, bottle shop and hotel. Also the bus to Australia Zoo which leaves daily is a 2 minute walk away. Getting AroundPublic transport is very near as the bus stop is just round the corner to access The Plaza shopping centre or Kawana shopping centre. If arriving by plane then there is a shuttle bus service (ConXion shuttle) right to the door or to the information centre which is only a minutes walk away. The beach and a lovely walk on the boardwalk is just a minute away and this can take you down to the fish shops and parks at the end of Parkyn Pd, or further to the spit where you can see the fishing boats come in. The back area of the yard is fenced off and not accessible but the rest of the yard has plenty of room for children to play and run around. The bus stop in both directions to major Shopping Plazas is 50m up the road from our house. Most retail outlets on the coast are open 7 days. Further afield you can explore Noosa beaches, the Sunshine Coast Hinterland and the Glasshouse Mountains as well as the Australia Zoo. These are all within an hour's drive. Your accommodation: A single bedroom on the ground floor with a private bathroom. There is a kitchen, dining room and lounge room which you will share with us. You will be provided with the makings of a continental breakfast, after which you must leave the kitchen as you found it - clean and tidy. There is a barbecue for guest use and a pergola for alfresco dining. There is parking for one car on our property. We are 13km's from the Sunshine Coast Airport, 30km's from Australia Zoo, 2km from Underwater World, 37km's from Eumundi markets and 42 km's from Noosa National Park. Please note we have stairs - 14 to the first level and 14 to the loft. Without these stairs we would have no view :) Also, the road is busy and there is traffic noise. Getting AroundThere is a bus stop on our road - it is literally 20 metres from our home. There are cabs as well, but you are close enough to everything here to walk. Other Things to NoteWe leave you with a book about the area which has all things touristy, local knowledge and menu's etc of the best takeaways.

The NeighborhoodThe apartment is well situated on the Mooloolaba Esplanade, but far enough away from the pubs and clubs to be quiet. Two patrolled surf beaches are nearby, and the main dining strip and shops are within 100 metres. Other attractions in the area include Underwater World (within walking distance) an Olympic swimming pool (10 minutes away at Cotton Tree), and there is a bike/walking path all along the coast, as well as plenty of parks with play areas for the kids. Aussie World and Australia Zoo are both in easy driving distance (10-15 minutes and 20-25 minutes respectively). Two large shopping centres are easily accessible: Sunshine Plaza to the north, and Kawana shopping district about the same distance to the south. Getting AroundYou can walk to the beach, to a supermarket, to places to eat, and to other attractions, and access to other areas is available by bus. The Sunshine Coast bus stops right outside the apartment complex. You can just leave the car in the garage! Sunshine Coast airport is 20 minutes away at Mudjimba and Brisbane airport is about an hour's drive. The shuttle bus from Brisbane airport drops you off a mere 5-minute walk from the apartment.     The Space"Camaroo" property is a block of only 3 apartments, 2 being for holiday let. This listing (Unit 2) is a large 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment which is upstairs with a balcony out from the lounge. This captures the lovely sea breezes during the summer months. The kitchen is equipped with a large fridge, dishwasher, stove and microwave. All linen and bath towels are provided as well as all cooking and eating utensils. There is a shared laundry downstairs with lines on both sides of the building to catch either the morning or afternoon sun. Guest AccessThis apartment does not have access to the backyard and bbq but it is only a short walk to the parks at the beach where you'll find very well kept, clean bbq's and a child's playground nearby. Interaction with GuestsWe meet our guests at the unit on arrival whether they come by plane or by road and give them any directions they may require. We are quite flexible with arrival and departure times depending on other bookings. The NeighborhoodMooloolaba is a north facing beach so is very safe for swimming and there are patrols between the hours of 8 - 4 in a number of places along the beach. Getting AroundIn one direction just a few minutes walk away, you have the beautiful patrolled Mooloolaba beach and the esplanade with great shopping, plus great restaurants, coffee shops and surf club. Just a short stroll in another direction is the Coles shopping complex with chemist, bank, newsagent, bottle shop and hotel. Underwater World and the Wharf with its shops, cafe's and hotel is also a few minutes walk and there is a bus to Australia Zoo from River Esplanade each morning. For those that wish to use the car it's only a 40min drive to Noosa and its busy shopping strip. A wonderful day could also be had in the mountains, visiting the fantastic shops of Montville and areas and enjoying the spectacular views to the coast. This apartment is the perfect place to relax and unwind and enjoy your holiday because of it's close proximity to everything. The bus stop is just a minutes walk away with transport to the Plaza at Maroochydore or to Kawana Shopping Centre. Both of these destinations are only a 10 minute ride away. Other Things to NoteWe mostly have families staying so we do expect our guests to respect each other with regards noise levels and we do not allow parties in the apartments. Coles is a 4 minute walk away. Inside and out it is fresh, comfy and relaxing. We love it! Aircon in main bedroom and dining/kitchen areas. Ceiling fans elsewhere. The pictures aren't the best as I just used my iPhone in the portrait setting. Guest AccessYou will have full access to the house, including the use of one of the car spaces in the double lock up internal access garage. We have 4 push bikes you can use (2 adult, 2 children) if you wish to explore surrounding suburbs. Interaction with GuestsMy wife and I are both teachers. We will make our house available during some Queensland school holiday breaks. We may not be able to help at all with your stay as we will be interstate, but can tell you places we enjoy visiting. We have friends close by should you need assistance. The NeighborhoodA quiet part of Mooloolaba, yet less than 100 metres from the Primary School. Getting AroundThere are 2 bus stops on the Esplanade approximately 400 metres away. They go to and from most common destinations, such as the Plaza shopping centre 5km away. Coles Mooloolaba is 350-400 metres away. We have 2 adult mountain type/cruiser bikes and 2 children bikes available. Other Things to NoteAlthough it is a quiet street, at peak times (Christmas Eve, Marathon days, New Year's Eve) you may have cars parked on the road directly in front of the house, as it is close to the beach. Or maybe just head down to the esplanade and have your choice of bars, cafes & restaurants. All our guests love the fact that you can walk everywhere!!     The SpaceThe best thing about this tranquil, inviting space is the large sunny timber deck, which is perfect for relaxing. Surrounded by palm trees, the swimming pool has a beautiful tropical feel. This gorgeous Aussie beach house features timber floors, white walls and lovely traditional art. It's the perfect space to unwind for a weekend away but is close to shops, cafes and nightlife if you want to immerse yourself in the buzzing precinct that is Mooloolaba. You will have personal use of bathroom and toilet and a north facing sunny front verandah. Help yourself to cereal/toast and tea/coffee for breakfast. Street parking available. Getting AroundThere is a bus located at end of street (about 300 meters). However it's an easy stroll to restaurants, cafes and the beach. The Airport is a 15 minute drive away and Con-X-ion bus shuttle service has a door to door operation at a reasonable cost.
